This restaurant has less than 15 individuals in it. Lousy menu. It ought to say American. They offer some "Greek" items but not many. Lousy food, Lousy wine. The food was fine until once we found a hair in a sandwich. They just offered to replace the sandwich. On another visit my wife found a dead fly in the vinegar and oil dressing which was difficult to spot because of herbs. Another favorite restaurant for me and the kids. Dimitri and his staff make sure we always have a good time and have enough. He delights in the accomplishments of my children and can only do that because he talks to us. He gets to know his customers; they are not just dollars walking in and out. I get the feeling the local market doesn't understand this restaurant. I could transplant it to Charlotte and it would be packed to the gills. But even at 6pm, 90% of the patrons were 60+ and the tables were maybe half full. Service was exceptional. A Greek looking guy, that I assume was the owner, made rounds to every table during the course of my meal. All the waitresses I overheard were the friendliest I've encountered anywhere in a very long time. The Greek Salad with grilled chicken was excellent. Best Greek dressing I've had except what I make at home from scratch. They serve fresh rolls and cornbread when you're seated. The fish, seafood and surf & turf selection on a Friday night filed an entire page. My waitress was Summer. She was beyond friendly. Meh. I pass Grapevine everyday on the way home but never think about giving it a try. I went the other night because my mother in law picked. The service was absolutely crappy. We sat for a solid 15 minutes before a server acknowledged our presence. The server said she "didn't see us" which made no sense because it wasn't as if we were hidden and when a restaurant only has 10 customers one would think 4 additional people would be easily noticed. The food was a solid 2.5, it wasn't good but it wasn't the worst meal I have ever had but definitely not worthy of another trip. There are far better options in Boiling Springs. read more

No cheese in the mozzarella sticks, watery and disgusting chicken souvlaki sandwich, brown lettuce, chicken lacks seasoning and the tatziki sauce was like eating a mouth full of garlic. Always good service and meals at The Grapevine. And, the place is always busy with locals!

We've gotten used to going to the Grapevine Restaurant late Sunday mornings for breakfast. Ordering inevitably involves finding out what they're already "out of" (biscuits, gravy, livermush, sometimes more than one item), actually deciding as you order once you find out the actual options. But today, slowest service ever .. literally the couple seated right before us, at the table right next to us, recieved their meals, ate, paid their bill and left at least 5 minutes before or meals arrived. Different waitress, but ours only had one other table! Service like that .. we won't be back! read more

My favorite place to do breakfast. The amount of food you get for the price is ridiculous. I always get the omelette loaded with everything you can think of. I recently stumbled upon this little gem when my girlfriend recommended it to me because her boss conducts his monthly breakfast meetings here. She loves the omelette on a croissant. So after the first time I try this great place I return the next 3 mornings for my breakfast cravings! Crazy?! I know but it tickles my fancy that much! I still get the same thing everytime. Whilst writing this review my family is getting ready to go there right now. We love it that much. The service is decent. Just like any other place if its busy, you'll wait a bit to be seated. You'll be greeted by a friendly person who looks unusually more than glad to see you. Your server is busy so she'll zip by your table a few times to tend to her other guests but she won't forget you and she will check up on your table. What more do you want? I don't understand some people's entitlement complex. They want to be treated like a king and if they're drinks are not instantaneously refilled the exact moment the beverage is deemed low they declare the restaurant and its entire staff incompetent and unworthy of their time and business. People like you should just stay home and cook yourself. Everyone else, go to this restaurant and give it a try. If you like it, great, if you don't then you're crazy. read more

My wife and I visited this place when we were stopping for the night on the way to Gatlinburg Tennessee. I got the fried chicken, it was delicious. The food was amazing, but the most amazing thing is the owner of this restaurant. Once I arrived in Gatlinburg Tennessee the day after eating in this restaurant I believed I forgot my wallet at a gas station across the street from this restaurant, no one at the gas station was picking up the phone, the police refused to go by and look to see if my wallet was still there before driving three hours back for no reason. I did not know what else to do, so I called and spoke with the owner of this restaurant and asked if you would be willing to go over there to see if my wallet was still there. He immediately got in his car and drove straight over to the gas station, unfortunately my wallet was not there anymore although that was extremely kind of that guy Dimitri to look on my behalf. We need more people like him. Thank you very much. By the way, I found my wallet buried underneath my luggage. Thank God. read more

Ate lunch here with my mom the other day and we had a blast! The hardest part is narrowing down the choices! Settled on the fried haddock special and it was out of this world good! Their tea is always great (important feature in the south) and the service was really perfect as our server was so kind and attentive and very engaged in our experience. It came with regular black olives instead of Kalmata olives like a Greek salad should. The dressing was all oil. The gyro was gyro chunks not strips but tasted good. The pita was good. We used to go quite often after church for breakfast but service was so slow and bad we stopped. I wanted a Gyro, We were going to to to Manny's Restaurant to get a Gyro last night but they are closed on Sunday's so we went to. The Grapevine, well it had not changed. The food was good, but took for ever to get and the girl waiting on us went to the back and we didn't see her again for a long time. Worst experience I have ever had. Was there Wednesday night with a church group and the service was horrendous. Food was lukewarm; one person never got her food; and one person got the wrong side items. The rest of us got lukewarm food at best. To top it off, the tip was added on at 20% AFTER they added the tax. Needless to say, I will NEVER go there again. read more
