Welcome back to the blossom! (After their fire) I must say it has been sometime since I was there, 2 years, and I was pleasantly surprised. They now serve yeast rolls which are tasty when hot and the cornbread is very yummy as well. I had a grilled chicken breast which was very dry but I used the 1000 island from my salad and SCORE! The pineapple was sweet like sugar. Something to note.......the salad had diced onions, so when asked if tomatoes, onions, cheese is ok don't think you can take them off ‍. Another guest had the Tuna plate and although they said a little wet they cleaned their plate. Our third guest has the chicken and dumplings and everyone's banana pudding. The daily special appealed to us as it comes with a tea and desert. I had bbq chicken breast with 2 sides, green beans and I ordered squash but received okra and tomatoes. The waitress really didn't tell me they were out of squash. Good thing I like okra. The restaurant is very old school and gives you a " blast from the past " atmosphere. The lunch specials are $10.89 or around that price. Actually a good value for the money but I've tasted lots better food. My wife's chicken fingers were cold or just room temperature. Country cooking, freshly done! I don't care to cook as much anymore and I do like homemade, country meals. Even if I have to drive a ways to get it. Everything here is cooked fresh and you get a basic meat & three choices, dessert and a drink included. The food tastes fresh and it's always cooked perfectly. The only disappointment I've had was them running out of the dessert I wanted one time. Waitresses are nice, seems like the same ones are always there. They could probably be a bit more attentive, but they are not neglectful either. You can flag them down. My favorite day to go is on a Sunday but the food is just as good any time I've been there, with a fair amount of choices. read more

I have eaten here several times over the past few years whenever I am in the area I always stop in. It's original 60s or 70 s diner decor and food reminds me of family road trips. I have always had a good diner style meal here and good service. The pancakes are excellent and I have always enjoyed the lunch specials which are a good value main dish plus 3 sides, roll, a drink and dessert for under $11. It's always busy at lunch and has a good following of customers who are mostly senior citizens like myself. I can't understand the bad reviews. I have never had a bad experience. Today my wife and I revisited the Peach Blossom Diner in Spartanburg S.C. . This until today was one of my favorite restaurants to get a really good meat and three. On the positive side of things; the wait staff do a really great job taking care of their customers! The parking is more than sufficient; easy in ,easy out ! My wife ordered a hamburger steak well done. Her entree was very pink in the middle! I asked her if she would like for me to send it back to the kitchen; but she didn't want to make a fuss as they were very busy.Besides that she knew that I would eat it ! My meat and three was tiny! It was smaller than a typical kids plate at any other restaurant! The quantity and quality of the food here has gone downhill dramatically from my previous rating of 5 stars to 2 stars ! Sad establishment. Stopped in on way to Greensboro for a golf outing. Looking for something other than the usual Bojangles/Hardees fare. Restaurant was seat yourself. Lady yelled across the counter "2 coffees?" I replied 1 coffee and 2 waters. Received 2 waters...no coffee. She asked if we needed menus. Got menu and that was all. I can't base my review on the food as I never got to order. My review is solely on service...or lack of. We sat for about 10 minutes and watched 2 other groups come in...get their drinks and order. What's sad is 2 waitresses were sitting talking to another customer and their topic of conversation was people that had left in the past week without being served. Like it was no big deal.
