Service on a busy Saturday - OUTSTANDING. The best Meat/3 I have had in years. I would brave the I/85 Spartanburg-Greenville corridor again just for the yeast rolls.

Location Off 85 business, north of Spartanburg, east of 585- south of interstate 85 Parking Large private lot Seating Counter, booths, very large extra room with tables and chairs-great for groups. Service Friendly and attentive. Every time we looked up, she was there refilling our drinks! And the friendly happy and welcoming hostess! Food and beverage No bar. To go fourth of July menu! We had breakfast-see pictures. Bacon, muffins, eggs all perfect! Fresh mushrooms in omelette!

Waited a half hour for a biscuit sandwich around 10:15. Worst biscuits ever. No taste just like warm sand. Too bad because eggs and sausage breakfast the day before was excellent? I guess you have to be a local for proper service?

This is a really cool place. You walk inside and feel like it's the 1950's. The service was really nice and sweet. Their bathrooms were spotless clean! Very easy to get to off the highway. I think this place could be a movie set.

Local , very local.....five stars if Yelp had a Local Dinner category This mornings conversation between the staff and "regulars" was about the State Fair, while the sheriff sat in his regular booth enjoying coffee and breakfast. Prices are responsible Decore is a time capsule from the 60's / 70's with the most contemporary item being a +10 year old ATM For the prior poor reviews, I would offer they simply missed the local charm. It's a place 'outsiders' will be noticed and the flow is for the locals. And the staff and owner aren't cattering to folks on Yelp or Social Media ..... unless your house has a Party Line (first form of social media)

For $8 I got country fried steak, mac & cheese, rice & gravy, a side salad, a drink and a really good devil's food cake dessert.

Sort of reminded me of an old diner that had be renovated to a clean upscale vibe. We ordered the steak kabobs and they were mouthwatering with flavor. My fiancee got an old fashioned and I got a rabbits foot, one of their craft gin cocktails. It was AMAZING, the gentleman's ice cube I believe was made with lavender so as it melted, your drink was even more flavorful and not watered down. He ordered the shiny duck and I the beef fillet and mashed potato. Both were also delicious, this is a farm to table spot so you know it's fresh. One thing which I didn't minus a star for was considering the price point I would think they would offer a vegetable with your meal. Few spears of broccolini or asparagus or carrots, just to make it feel a little more well-rounded of a plate. The were out of a few items being a busy day/night but we didn't mind. We will try them next go around. Our server Erin was just epic, great sense of humor and very attentive! We will be back again and make sure to sit in her section. Cheers to supporting local non chain restaurants!

We had mussels which were excellent and then split a short rib entrée, which was also great. This a very small restaurant but everything was fantastic.

After waiting, the cashier said "Hi," so I thought she was speaking to me, but she was actually answering the phone and took a full order before helping me. I also had to ask for a menu because one wasn't offered. Anywho, the restaurant felt extremely crowded with very little space between tables and walkways. Someone stepped on my foot, and another customer asked if I could give up my seat so their group could sit. The biggest issue was the packaging. My containers were placed upside down in the bag, and the butter inside the box had no lid, so it spilled everywhere and was already a mess when I opened the bag in my car. When I went back to notify the waitresses at the counter and ask for napkins, I was told the boxes were always packed upside down "on purpose," but that explanation didn't make sense since it caused the food to flip over and the butter to spill all over everything. (I have photos showing this). The food tasted good, but after everything I experienced, I won't be returning. For those curious about the cost, my receipt was $19.33 and after a $5 tip I paid $24.33 total.

Prior to covid it was okay right after covid it was okay it never was really great. This is the place where if everything was full and you pulled in the park you went and had a little dinner said all right screw it this will work for tonight I haven't had a meal here probably in a little over a year I got stuck over here for the night and went in and had a fish dinner which was excellent. I noticed one thing it's very clean the staff is doing a great job the cooks are very good at this one now therefore I'm giving it more than the average three stars. My first dinner was the grilled white fish Alaskan and I had a Cajun seasoned. The baked potato was a little later in the day so it wasn't super soft but it wasn't hard it was good. And I had corn I need to add some butter though it had no flavor. that was a very good meal The next morning I thought you know what let's go and try the day shift see how the breakfast is and it was fantastic. French toast was cooked perfectly I told him to go light on the powdered sugar they barely dusted it like I like. Had the Smuckers sugar-free syrup. I went with the healthier option like I do at TA and Petro restaurants I did the healthy turkey sausage. And an egg soft scrambled Everything really good again decided to drop a review for this one now. Keep up the good work unfortunately the actual TA travel Center leaves a little less to be desired they'll be in review later on but it is what it is. It's never really been great and it still isn't LOL. But the country pride is doing a great job
