Been going here for almost 10 years now. Dr. Syeda diagnosed me when i was 19, was knowledgeable, and informative. I go every 4-6 months depending on how my inflammation is. She is willing to hear my concerns and do what's in my best interest. I have moved further away from Grapevine in recent years but still travel almost an hour to her because she is just that great. Her other providers in office are also great. Roxanne is always nice, able to communicate, and open to any questions i may have. I truly love this clinic and their staff. read more

BELIEVE THE BAD REVIEWS! Upon my first visit to this office, I had the same experience that all the 1-star reviews mention. Rude, no information, gave me a diagnosis I've never heard of, while walking out the door. No explanation. No education or handouts. Tests were ordered that I wound up having my primary care administer, communication is a joke, portal is non-existent, etc. The first photo you see on Google is this lovely brick office with a red door. However, her office is in an old building that knocks you down with the smell of veterinarian/barnyard, cigarettes, and urine. I struggled to understand what the dr was saying and most of what she said was her talking to herself while bending my body odd directions with zero explanation. I could go on and on. Today was my 2nd appointment for follow up of labs. When I arrived, they said they had no appointment for me. The front desk girl stated that I had "rescheduled" the appointment but they had no appointment connected to the "reschedule." This office is a nightmare and so is the physician. I gave them another chance, thinking anyplace could have a single bad day. Believe the other 1-star reviews, as I CAN'T believe, having gone there, that any real person is giving Dr. Uzma Syeda those higher-starred reviews. read more

DR. Syeda was Quick to sign on last September when I first experienced RA issues last July. Making appointments, paying bils, etc. were a breeze. She is knowledgeable, listens to her patients, provides good timely advice and i can see she has empathy for her patients and their suffering/pain. he is Thorough in her Blood Tests and analysis. Doctor Syeda reached out to me and discussed my review and we definitely were not connecting and hearing what each other was saying. I am willing to give her the benefit of the doubt on this because she reached out to discuss it with me. I do not agree with the last plan she had for me but she seems open to at least hearing my concerns. I was told I could come back at any point for further care if I desired so I am going to change this review to four stars because of all of this. I will further update if this relationship continues. I would say that not all people connect the same and sometimes everyone doesn't hear things correctly. Maybe I misheard and maybe Dr. Syeda misheard. If she is willing to move on then I am and this is a good thing. Remember, as a patient, you are ultimately responsible for your own healthcare. Don't continue down a path if you aren't comfortable. At the end of the day you have to be behind any health care choices for procedures and medications. read more

I just moved to the area, therefore, I needed to restablish care. With that said I was referred here. First impression with the process of making my appointment was that it was very difficult. It took a week to speak to a receptionist to schedule an intake appt. With that said, the care I got and the way they listened to me so thoroughly made me feel very validated and confident. They did a very comprehensive view of my symptoms and ordered all applicable testing without any issues. In the past I've fought to get the treatment I needed from my last doctors office so I really appreciated the fact that they went the extra mile for me. I would definitely recommend this facility based off my experience so far I am very confident and at ease with the care I've been receiving. read more

VERY DISAPPOINTED with Grapevine Rheumatology Clinic Dr. Uzma Syeda,M.D.FACR, Appointment on Tuesday, told me to get brace for hand/wrist. Wednesday, brought to Dr. on Wed. she said it wasn't good. Got a different one and combined it with the one I had. Brought that to her on Friday, made me take off the brace and they brought it to her. Dr. wouldn't come out of her office to make sure that the brace ON my hand was good and didn't move my wrist. Told me I needed to make an appointment to see her which would have cost me $40.00 for a 2 minute look and see. I walked out pissed! Cancelled future appointment. The staff was very friendly and answered all of my questions I had. I was seen right away and didn't wait all long time even though they were shot a person that day! I love Kimberly who I have seen twice she is amazing and so knowledgeable about what is going on with me...Erica the nurse is just as wonderful! Dr Syeda was one of the most idismissive physicians I've ever seen. She was dismissive of me suspecting that I had arthritis due to my young age. When I brought up other tests and symptoms found by previous physicians, she reluctantly agreed to run blood tests for inflammatory arthritis and other conditions. Of course, they came back positive in several places. If you would like to be taken seriously as a young (read: less than 50) arthritis patient, I'd recommend going elsewhere! But at least I was able to take the tests that Dr Syeda ran and bring them to a physician who was more willing to listen. I was diagnosed with a form of arthritis based on x rays and blood test results by another doctor who did not tell me it was "all in my head" due to my age, and finally have access to the treatment I need. read more

Dr SYEDA has been my Rhuemotologist for 5 years now. Thank God I found her. She is thorough, knowledgeable and very kind. The office staff is great too. There was a time I changed insurance and had to find another Dr. I returned to her and paid cash until I change insurance again. read more

When I started my journey with GRC I was seeing Kimberly, I truly admired her, and her medical care was outstanding, very professional. She left GRC and my care was transferred to Dr. Syeda, OMG talk about a disaster in epic proportions, it started from the time my butt hit the chair. I have never met such a dismissive, crude, dishonest doctor in my 45 years of bliss on this earth. From her lack of understanding the needs of her patients, to giving off the wall diagnosis that makes no sense, she had me going in circles like some kind of farm animal. I'm telling you, you would be better off having Joe the Plumber give you some medical advice with his sketch pen and a piece of toilet paper than to trust Dr. Syeda with one ounce of medical care. The office staff are a worthless bunch of liars and incompetent morons. Don't get me wrong there were a few staff members that were helpful and some I really appreciated. Unfortunately the bad totally outweighed the good, you know like a feather verses a lead weight. To condense an exhausting voyage to the under reaches of hell, a confrontation with the manager, the King of Lies himself, I will start with the last straw. Dr. Syeda ordered a Vectra Test for me, but she did not inform me that the cost of this Test was just shy of $1000 dollars. When I received the bill I almost had a heart attack. I called GRC and they had it re-coded and the amount was drastically reduced. Great, I paid it and life went on. Within a few days my labs indicated my Liver was showing signs of issues. Dr. Syeda sent me for just liver labs. There were issues with GRC sending blood orders to LabCorp, in fact I ended up leaving LabCorp that day to return the next because GRC didn't send the labs like they said they would. About a week later I received information about my 2nd Vectra Test and another bill for $1000, it was like taking a ride on Get The F Out of Here Train. GRC sent the wrong lab paperwork and it seems they sent the prior month's lab order. That was in August, so from August to November they informed me that they were working to fix it. At this point my distrust for GRC was at an all time high so I ended up calling Vectra billing myself, come to find out GRC did not call, nor informed them that it was in their error. GRC was trying to avoid any responsibility for paying it, or have Vectra pay it. Dishonest? I think so. I was lied to by the manager, Dr. Syeda, and the office staff. It's like Geppetto went on some mad tyrant and mass produced a boat load of Pinocchios. Just F.Y.I, they will tell you "such person" is not in the office, I will have them call you back... DON"T BELIEVE THEM, if they say "they are working on it", DON'T BELIEVE THEM, if they say "the sky is blue", you would be better off checking for yourself because GRC is full of low down dirty liars. My all time favorite is they will tell you "she/he is not in today", but if you are adamant about speaking with them, they magically appear in the office like some kind of magical unicorn or something. You won't believe this but I am transferring my care to another RA doctor, maybe Joe the Plumber, I am sure his diagnosis would be more trustworthy and honest. I know this review is funny and I don't really know Joe the Plumber but seriously my advice really, stay far away from this establishment, well unless you're into some kind of pain a torcher, then by all means!!! read more

Dr. Syeda has got me feeling better than I have in years. She was extremely thorough, and made suggestions about my health I had never even thought of. Before seeing her, I wasn't sure I'd ever have a normal life again. She went through all my concerns and by my second visit I was already on track to getting my life back. I now have full confidence in my doctor. Im looking forward to not spending thousands and thousands of dollars in medical bills anymore. read more

Erica, the nurse should be cloned. She is marvelous, it you are having a bad day you you won't be down after meeting with her. Erica is so bubbly and mever stops with her positive attitude. I'll get the negatives out of the way first: sometimes they can get a little backed up and you have to wait a bit, but it's never been too bad --- especially compared to some offices I've experienced. And like the previous reviewer said, it does get chilly! But more importantly, I really like Dr. Syeda. She's very thorough, and always takes plenty of time with me, patiently (and thoroughly!) answering every question I had. She's been happy to listen to my thoughts or suggestions or "I heard about this one thing...'s"; ultimately I feel like she worked *with* me to come up with the best treatment plan for me. She was also able to figure out that I had a fairly rare genetic condition within the first visit that usually takes years/numerous doctors to get diagnosed. In subsequent visits it was obvious that she had been actively learning about the condition, which was SO appreciated. All in all, I've been very happy with Dr. Syeda. She's a great rheumatologist. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE!!! My husband has been a "PATIENT" for over a year!!! THEY ARE RUDE, will not EVER return a phone call when needed- my husband has had gouty arthritis over 30 years and needs routine medicine for his health. THEY ARE MONEY HUNGRY, RUDE AND GIVE ZERO REGARDS TO HIM AS A PATIENT!!! He went in July for his annual routine bloodwork which looked good, all he needed was a refill on his medication that has not changed in years. During an pandemic, they are requiring patient's to come when there is nothing even wrong with you as a patient!!! This time we called Thursday, Friday and AGAIN today without a call back!!!! And all 3 times I personally talked with a person and discussed my frustration. On top of that they told Sams Club, our pharmacy that they wouldn't refill my husbands meds until he comes back to the office. He's only scheduled ONCE a year to Come in- they just wanted to bill our insurance for a ZERO necessary appointment!!! We will NEVER EVER step foot in this place again!!! GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE!!! Oh and by the way when I called the man I spoke to said he would guarantee me for sure that he would call me back before 5 PM. You guessed it, no call back for the THIRD TIME!!! We have found another excellent excellent doctor with great reviews.!!! And it sounds like they care about their patients and not just making money!!!! After five yrs. treating with Dr. Syeda I've transitioned to a new rheumatologist. I will miss the caring service from Ahmar & Erica but not the medical care I received. Dr. Syeda was routinely dismissive of me. My questions/concerns were promptly shut down, I was cutoff, interrupted and made to feel foolish. I can't recall the last time that I actually sat on her exam table. There was a disproportional focus on my cholesterol, blood pressure, etc which is fine but the rheumatic issues seemed to give way to what a practitioner of family medicine usually focuses on. read more

The Drs here diagnosed my RA quickly and prescribed a plan moving forward. I have been in several times with short wait times and and friendly staff. The Drs and staff are very helpful and patient with me as I work with different meds to see which works best for me. read more

The office is always hot especially in the exam room. The staff is mostly friendly except for one Hispanic girl that works there. She is useless and gets a kick out of telling you no and sending you out the door. She smiles ear to ear when she gives you bad news as if she gets a high off of it. While receiving an injection my syringe was placed on a dusty desk that was old before the injection. The rooms are a mess and full of old junk. The infusion nurse seems to work at will so if she leaves for the day she will not call you to let you know. You will show up just to have that girl send you out the door while she's sarcastically smiles. read more

She was very thorough, asked me a lot more questions.She clearly did not make up her mind about my condition before she had enough information, unlike some of my past doctors. I feel like I can trust her diagnosis because she really thought about it. If it's important to you to find a doctor who not only seems knowledgeable but actually listens to you, considers alternative diagnoses, and takes the time she needs to get your diagnosis right, give Dr. Uzma a try. read more
