His staff was friendly and they definitely went above and beyond setting up my families home in a very short timeline. This was my first experience having to deal with managing an estate and I put my full trust in this company. My families home came with its own set up of issues, and Nick and his awesome team members definitely had their hands full but were able to navigate through it. ( Thanks guys!!) I got quotes from a couple different local estate companies and Canyon Estate was the most expensive for their services in comparison to other companies ( they received 55% and we got 45%) and they did charge us $1500 to stage and prep the house, but it was worth it to me since I was living out of state and they arranged everything for us from start to finish. I arrived about an hour before the estate sale ended and there were cars lined up and down the streets and the house was packed with people. We opted out of the final junk removal service since we wanted to save some money. Overall it was great experience during a stressful experience.

My grandson picked up a small key chain with a whale on it and she said there was a price sticker on it and took the time as people where in line and took her phone out to look it up and said it was in their inventory and the price was on there. She wanted $9 for it. I put my stuff back and said I will NEVER AGAIN attend one of their sales. I talked to several people attending the sale and they also said they were way over priced. This house was packed with books and appears to me, this company most likely told their client that they could get top dollar for their items.....ALL USED ITEMS AND TRYING TO EXPECT CUSTOMERS TO PAY TOP DOLLAR FOR USED STUFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I asked for a bill of sale or even a basic receipt, the owner refused to give me one. Instead, she handed all the paperwork to someone else who picked up the car--someone she appears to have a personal relationship with. It seems the bill of sale may have even been issued in his name, despite me being the actual buyer. When I followed up and asked her for a copy of the bill of sale, she told me to never contact her again, accused me of being "crazy," and then claimed she no longer has any record of the transaction because she deleted everything six months after the sale. That is not only completely irresponsible but raises serious concerns about the legitimacy and legality of how she operates. This was not just unprofessional--it was shady, hostile, and possibly fraudulent. I've been left with no documentation, no proof of purchase, and no support whatsoever. Stay far away from this business. Do not trust them with your money or your property.

I attempted to resolve the issue with Michael by just requesting a partial refund of the initial deposit, due to the misleading information and lackluster performance. Our son referred us to the BUDGET BLINDS company on the basis of a project that company had done for him in Huntington Beach where he needed 5 blinds. Budget Blinds of Menifee is a franchise location for the same company. And so one night (April 16, 2025) my wife and I spent a few hours with Sue and Rudy, the heart and soul of Budget Blinds of Menifee. They showed us numerous styles, fabrics, colors, power or manual mechanisms etc. A veritable plethora of choices. My wife made all the artistic / decorating decisions for our project and I approved the financial commitment. An order was placed to have 15 DUAL SHEER window shades (for the rectangular windows) and 2 SIGNATURE SELECT CELLULAR SHADES (for the semi-circle windows) manufactured, delivered and installed. They required, and received, a 50% down payment at the time of the order. It was understood that the order cycle was a few weeks to have our blinds and shades manufactured to order. 5 weeks later, (May 20, 2025) Rudy and Sue arrived to install our blinds and cellular shades. It was at this point we first learned that the fabric my wife had requested for the two cellular shades was no longer available and we would have to select something else. In the meantime, Rudy set about installing all 15 window blinds. Over the course of the next few hours I learned that the second installer that Rudy had scheduled had decided to "NO SHOW" without any advance notice. But thanks to Rudy's commitment to their customer, his patience and exceptional skills, he worked long, hard and solo and got the 15 window blinds installed. The two semi-circle windows were left uncovered and open to the sun. My wife and Sue picked out a suitable second choice and Sue indicated they would be ordered. The next day I received a PAID invoice indicating my project was complete. I let them know it was NOT complete and wouldn't be complete until we received the two cellular shades. That was two months ago. After calling and leaving messages tonight (July 22, 2025) , I learned that the second fabric was also out of stock and that it had not come to Sue's attention until I followed up. While there were some extenuating circumstances in Sue's life, she did "own" the mix-up, and offered to refund any monies paid (we had not yet paid for the cellular shades). I told her to just forget it. We are now planning a different solution - replacing those two windows with UV resistant tinted glass. We love the work that Rudy and Sue did. We love working with them. We are disappointed that it took so much effort only to learn that Budget Blinds was not capable of covering the two semi-circle windows in the one project, at the same time, or at a reasonable recovery time. If all 17 windows had been ordered, manufactured, delivered and installed, this review would have been a FIVE STAR rating. But given how it has ended, it can only be a four star rating. It is now the heat of the summer in Menifee and we still do not have an environmentally sound solution for the two windows that allow the sunlight to heat up both ends of our house. That is really unfortunate.

The demo company and I have already filed complaints with the contractors board and the financing company because this man thinks he can just take people's money and run. How does a grown man blatantly steal, lie through his teeth, and operate with zero integrity? Every response he posts to negative reviews is defensive, rude, and dripping with shady behavior. He cannot be trusted. Nothing he says is real. And I have the documentation to back every bit of this up. I wish I had dug deeper before hiring him. If I can stop even one person from getting screwed the way we did, then at least this disaster serves a purpose.

They did not have the product we wanted but were able to special order it. The price was extremely competitive vs o the local flooring companies. There was a slight delay but Sherry kept us informed the entire time. Highly recommend and can't wait to do our stairs and 2nd floor with Murrieta Flooring.
