I was looking to buy hardwood flooring from this company until I noticed they have an F rating with the Better Business Bureau and according to the BBB, have not renewed their contractors license since 2010. I did go on the contractors licensing website and it seems to be true. To the owner of the company, if you have renewed your contractors license under a different license number and are current with the contractors board let me know and I will change my rating or remove it. read more

They did the worst carpet job for our company that we could never imagine, we paid so much money, but the carpet started buckling everywhere, obviously they didn't put enough glue or didn't stretch and press them enough initially, the connecting borders look awfully obvious, we called them to fix the issues, they did come but didn't fix the problems at all, no choice but have to put a bad review here. read more

After taking my money and extending the delivery date to 4 weeks instead of 3, they informed me that the flooring I wanted was discontinued. I wandered into Murrieta floor covering on a Saturday, taking a chance that they might have something similar to what I was looking for. We had to replace carpet in our rental home because previous tenant completely ruined it! I called and spoke to Cheryl on Wednesday and explained the situation that we wanted something cheap because we're just renting out again. Even though we didn't buy carpet through them they did install the carpet for us the next day and was reasonably priced. If I could give no stars I would. Murrieta Floor Covering was recommended to us by someone who said they worked with them every once in a while. The price was lower then other companies and we decided we wanted to give our money to a local business. We have totally regretted that decision from the first day they showed up to work at our house. This has been the worst experience EVER!!! Not only would we NEVER recommend this company to anyone but we would advise everyone to stay clear and look for someone else to do your carpet. Day one, bedrooms and hallways were supposed to be done. When I came home that night, not one room was finished!!! I needed these rooms to be complete so my husband could help me move furniture before he left for a business trip. On top of nothing being finished... they DESTROYED my BRAND NEW baseboards. They said our concrete was too hard to put the nails in the tack strip?!?!?! What? Later they said it wasn't too hard but it was brittle. We asked, "so what do you do when this happens?" They tried hot glue... without cleaning the floor... and the tack strips kept coming up. Then they tried another glue... on a dirty floor... which kept coming up. I called in tears, asking them what was going on, why the carpet wasn't done and why were the brand new baseboards destroyed. Cheri kept apologizing saying she was so sorry and they would fix it that it would be perfect not to worry. It is not perfect! Day two, they got the carpet in but the tack strips kept pulling up and the carpet pulling away from the wall. Seams are visible, carpet is pulling up, in some areas carpet was cut too short and they cut and seamed it to make it longer. They told us they don't like to put seams in high traffic areas then pieced together the hallway with three different seams. The owner kept telling us, "he has been doing this for 35 years" but never seemed to have a clue what he was doing. They didn't clean the floor, they asked to borrow tools from us and at the end of the day left us extremely disappointed. They came back 4-5 times to fix areas that kept coming up. They slapped spackle on the baseboards and tried sanding it while it was wet. We told them to leave it and we would fix them so we knew they were done right. Angel came on the last day and didn't have one problem with the tack strips or the carpet. He fixed other areas and was shocked how many places were not secured to the floor. In the end they only took$50 off the price of the carpet for the baseboards that had been destroyed and all the trouble we went through. Please save yourself the trouble, time and money and stay clear of this company. read more

I needed carpet fast, was listing the home and needed to get in it quick. They called the carpet company and I named off colors until we found one that was in stock and a good color match. This was on a Friday afternoon, with a scheduled installation for Tuesday morning. Sherrie called me Monday morning, to let me know her guys were driving up to Fontana to pick up the carpet, instead of waiting for the delivery truck.
