I've used many cleaning services prior to Grassroots throughout NYC and the Hudson Valley and none have come close to the level of service that Caitlin provides. Caitlin starts every new client with a meeting at the house or space to be cleaned. She conducts a walk-through to understand needs and speaks about how she would approach areas and items. After the meeting and before a first cleaning, she provides a written quote describing the work requested and her policies. This step ensured that expectations on both sides are clear and aligned. Caitlin also impressed me by providing her insurance information - which no other cleaner had ever provided - should there be any problem we were assured her insurance would cover any damages. When Caitlin cleans, she spends as much time as necessary to complete the work quoted and stops at points to discuss her progress or problem areas with her clients. As she works, our home slowly begins to fill with the most beautifully natural aromas from her homemade, organic herbal and oil based cleaners. At the completion of each of her visits, I never cease to be amazed at the level of detail that Caitlin uses. Yet even above and beyond that, she ends each visit with the request that I tell her if I'd ever like anything done differently. My home has never been as clean or safe as when Caitlin leaves. Her approach to customer service is the highest quality of any service provider I've worked with. She is truly a pleasure to have in my home. I found Caitlin & Grassroots because I have three very young children. I simply don't have the time to keep the house as clean as I'd like and I insist on using natural cleaning products. We live in a historic home and I often am terrified of the old paint or detritus that is stirred up by little ones crawling and pounding around our old floors. I've taken to calling Caitlin our angel - her visits come at just the right time when needed most, her work ethic and attention to detail is exactly what I would hope for but actually never expect, and I go to sleep that night relieved that my children are safe from the products used. I couldn't recommend Caitlin & Grassroots more and wish her business as much growth as she wishes to manage.
