I wanted to provide an update since the owner's response below does not reflect what has happened…read moresince my original review. The company stated that the waterproofing work was completed and documented. However, after that response was posted, new leaks continued to appear, including leaks in areas that had never leaked before. Additional damage occurred to my home, including hardwood flooring and interior finishes. The company also stated that it does not reinstall unsafe components. Yet I personally documented damaged and broken pillars being reused, and multiple workers told me they had objected to reusing them. Most importantly, the company has since involved its insurance carrier regarding the conditions and damages at my property. Their insurance consultant inspected my home on March 18, 2026. If the work was completed properly and there were no issues related to the project, I find it difficult to understand why an insurance claim was necessary in the first place. Since then, I have been repeatedly told to wait for the insurance process. Months have passed, no meaningful testing has been performed to determine the source of the continuing leaks, no repair plan has been provided, no leaking doors have been repaired or replaced, and the missing railings and pillars remain uninstalled. The most frustrating part is that my home is still left looking like an unfinished construction site while the company points to an ongoing insurance review as the reason for delay. I do not believe a homeowner should be expected to live with continuing damage and an incomplete project indefinitely while waiting for an insurance determination. I genuinely hoped this matter would be resolved after meetings with the company's ownership and licensing representative. Unfortunately, despite promises that things would move forward, very little has actually happened. I will continue to update this review as events unfold so that potential customers can make an informed decision.

It's a 47 year old mobile home. They do that. Donovan came out and gave me an estimate that I accepted. They demolished the whole back room and half the front porch. As the project manager, Mike Gast was extremely patient and accommodating, and provided lots of feedback to solve various issues. This was a large project that involved removing the garage door, retrofitting 3 sets of doors, framing and finishing for a custom look, inside and out. They even installed special thresholds so we could be assured of being able to roll equipment in and out of the space easily. After each stage of the job, the crew cleaned up the area and removed all debris. The price quoted us initially was in line with competitors, better than several, who failed to follow up with us. There was no cost-creep, and we finished at the price quoted us. Progress and payment was tracked on their online job project site, which was an added benefit and inspired confidence. I can highly recommend Mastercraft and hope to use them in the near future for several other home improvement projects. I can't believe these guys have negative Yelp reviews! We've received DG from North County on 4…read moreseparate occasions spanning about a 3 year period of time and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Kasey is extremely knowledgeable and was able to suggest a specific DG for our needs (footing for horses), which does great to shed water while remaining firmly in place. This stuff looks great, and it doesn't spread or disappear like some other DGs. When the Norco facility shut down temporarily, we grabbed a load from the Corona location, not realizing that it was totally different stuff. I had 40,000 lbs of the WRONG material dumped in my yard (not North County's fault!), but Kasey came through and saved the day for me, promising we could get a free load of the right material when Norco reopened in a few weeks time. It took about a month before Norco opened up again, but on the very first day, Kasey fulfilled his promise and I got the material I needed, with NO QUESTIONS ASKED. Talk about being a man of his word and an easy guy to work with. Thank you again Kasey. We've had nightmare experiences with several contractors over the past three years, but doing business with North County was an absolute pleasure. If you need material, do NOT go anywhere else! I attached the paid invoice with your initials and "paid in full". Hopefully that helps you remember that it was your job. I do remember you and your white pickup truck coming to my house and telling me all work that will be done is professional and all I need to do afterwords is paint. The "professionals" you got coming to the house were careless. Their texturing left a mess in the living room because they didn't seal the area properly. They did not tape off the wall that didn't need texturing. Their response was for me to wash the wall because the texture will come right off. The cracked areas of the drywall ONLY occurred on the areas that you worked on. NO OTHER AREA IN MY HOME HAS THIS. and this home was built over 20yrs ago. your work only lasted about a year. There was no illusion on the work of the raised drywall. I felt it and YOUR response when you felt it was that it was an illusion. A person with some sort of experience would know that there is an issue with the work if they felt it, but you just wanted to get your money and leave. You can change the format of your invoice after you see it was your job but it does no not change the fact that it was your work. I'm sure you don't like the review, but the work is sloppy. If you want to lie about it, it's fine, but people should know on who to bring in before they spend their hard-earned money to fix their homes.
