They have an indoor casino (not the gambling kind) that you can rent and plenty of outdoor space. The restrooms are pretty far apart from eachother so I would recommend scoping it all out before you book one. My only complaint about this park is that there aren't a ton of sports facilities. There is a tennis court and a basketball court. But no soccer field? Or baseball? There is so much wasted space that could be used for these activities. The very best part of the entire park is the dog park though!!

The room cooled down quickly. That was kind of upsetting with how much you pay to rent the space.

The water fountains for the dogs were great and there was a mixture of dirt and grass for the dogs to run in. I could see it being a major issue if you are planning to attend after a large storm. I loved that there were human bathrooms located right outside the park. My biggest issue with the park was that there was a very overwhelming smell of urine throughout the small dog park. I think having more grass for the small dog area would have alleviated that smell a bit but other than that it was a fine experience.

You can see a variety of wildlife pond life, avian life, as well as so many different types of foliage. It was a nice peaceful walk on a flat path that was graveled and wide enough for many people to pass by each other without touching the foliage at the side of the path. There are many little offshoots towards the ponds that have a bench to sit on and watch and wile away the hours , if you choose. The pond lilies are plentiful and beautiful pink color many of which are blooming right now and the end of July. If you are looking for a vigorous hike, this is not the place.This place has flat paths that wind through the woods and around ponds and are very peaceful and quiet. In the early mornings, you can see beavers hard at work.You can see dear browsing for food.There are many birds singing happily in the trees, as well as ducks , geese and turtles in the ponds.

Fireman's Park is a baseball diamond, a pavilion, some greenery, some trees, and a soccer field, in the heart of Depew sandwiched between a bunch of railway lines (or railroad tracks if you're American). I used to play soccer here quite a lot, and was on the wrong end of several ass-whoopings by Depew Village who are an excellent BDSL team that calls this location home. I also scored some goals here, including a hat trick once, so it has good memories for me too. All in all it's a great little park, the grass isn't too bad... it's under-utilized and underappreciated by Depew Locals and could be better than it is, so I'll give it a solid 4 out of 5. Speaking of a solid 4, I have a solid 7 or 8 right here.

It's a lovely nature preserve-style park way out in the middle of nowhere, between Lancaster and Alden, below Clarence and way above Elma. If that doesn't mean anything to you, don't worry. I live right next to this park, relatively speaking. I just drive straight down Ransom from near my house, and I'm there. It's a wonderfully convenient thing for me because the park is really great. It's pretty bleak in the winter, but in the summer it's wonderful. It's also massive... much bigger than people realize. The convenience makes me want to give it a 5, and I love coming here, but compared to my fave spots in WNY, this is more like a 4 star park. It's secluded with winding trails and wildlife and lots of people walking dogs and such. I may bring Starlight and My Son here one of these days, I need to buy some kitten harnesses first. How adorable will that be. Very solid 4 stars for a lovely place to go.

Some of the signage is damaged or completely gone. An inappropriate sticker is in the slapped on the Golden Gate Bridge display (why can't people respect other people's property?). Someone's baby doll was left on another display that you are not supposed to be climbing on. It's still an amazing and beautiful place, but could use some updates so it doesn't fall apart completely. As I walk around, I feel gratitude for those who have protected our freedom. I hope one day we get back to remembering "United we stand, divided we fall"

Oh, the park is right in front of the family restaurant. How convenient. Here are some details. The music they play constantly is way too loud. It gave me a headache. The music doesn't need to be that loud. The "displays" are incredibly cheesy. Sort of cartoonish. If you actually want to honor our service men and women, you should put a little more effort when creating these displays. It's also close to a very busy roadway. Be careful when entering and exiting the parking lot area.
