As a result, I was careful to interview several companies this time around. The best choice I have ever made to have my floors and countertop restored to their original brilliance was to hire the professionals at Scottsdale Travertine Polish. Not only did they do an amazing job at a very fair price , but they were on time, friendly ( they love what they do) and went the extra mile to make sure I was a happy and satisfied customer, leaving my home as neat as a pin! When done he asked me how does it look and i showed him things that needed to be redone and he complained and complained like a child. he was very RUDE and intimidating. he said what is it that you don't like and that you are not happy with. i showed him and he said so you want me to redo it again even though it is getting late. He was angry with me because i didnt like the way the job came out. he got down on his hands and knees and wiped up the mess and then said what else are you not happy with. Rude as can be. then he said to me that he still has to steam clean the garage and that it is getting real late to do it. i took everything out in the morning -my house cleaners helped us and he complained that he had to take more stuff out. i told him he doesn't need to do it. i will have my house cleaning people do it. in the mid afternoon i asked him about doing the grout line in the kitchen around the sink and if he had the color which i told his wife about 5 weeks prior to get it. he said he had it and then told me he had to go to home depot to get it. he charged me $87.50 to do a 5 minute job around the quartz counters which included an $11.00 tube of caulk that he had to tell his wife who was at home to get it and drop it at my house. he lied right to my face. he also gave me one price in the morning and added in another $200.00 when he was done for all the work. Poor communication skills. He ruined my 5 inch new baseboards. They all had vertical splits. i had to have a handyman caulk them and repaint them and he left hose marks on my leather furniture in the living room. He is careless and nasty. i couldn't wait for him to get out of my house. He wanted to come back the next day to finish the job. i said absolutely NO. i would never recommend him to anyone. A bully and a chronic complainer that he worked so hard and i wasn't happy with his job. He charged an excessive amount of money for poor quality. He is all about the money. $87.50 to caulk around the sink for 5 minutes. He also left caulk on the counters and the grates on stovetop. sloppy work. what an experience. i could go on and on because there were more things that he did not do right.

But, I love our floor tile so much I decided to give grout staining a try. I did not to be so blown away at how good it turned out. The crew was amazing, friendly and super hard working. Horrible experience. Paid almost $700 to have 2 showers cleaned/sealed, couple of cracks repaired…read moreand caulking around kitchen sink redone. After the "cleaning and sealing" was completed it looked like nothing had been done. Pictures posted in review are after the work was completed. The grout that was repaired was also a totally different color. As for the kitchen sink.... they placed gray grout over top of old clear caulking and lime scale build up. Called back and talked to the person who came out and gave us a quote the first time and shared pictures and concerns. He came out the next day and looked at it and agreed it didn't look good. After he tried to re-clean the shower he said sometimes things just don't come clean and the grout color doesn't match because the other grout wouldn't come clean also that they cannot guarantee cleaning services..... none of which was explained during the quote or when we wrote a $700 check. He then said he would talk to the owner and see what else they could do for us..... Called back the next day to tell us nothing could be done but color stain the grout lines in one shower for another $300...... Not sure what we paid $700 for or why we would pay another $300 for when neither shower looked like it was cleaned at all and the small amount of "repairs" done were sloppy and didn't even match. Wouldn't mind paying $700 for work if it was done correctly. Would never recommend grout doctor to anyone ever again.

Sometimes service providers can just rush through a job without answering questions thoroughly or taking the time to really access what is needed. Michael and his team worked to clean and polish our marble floors and granite countertops. They look better now than when we first had them installed. Very honest company- they let you know the truth about your surfaces, what's needed to restore them, and they work to make sure you're happy with the job. Highly recommend!!
