Percy's easy going nature made it really easy to work with him. Although he typically designs for high end weddings and multi-million condo interiors, he was happy to work with our budget. I had purchased chandeliers online and he was more than happy to help me put them up in the tent. Also, Percy will send you a rendering of what the lighting will look like but they do the finished product and experience no justice. We booked Greenstone Project's 6 piece band and Percy did such a great job on the stage lighting, creating the perfect dance floor for our guests

After spending about 3 hours and charging me his $90 per hour rate, he advised me I needed a new fuel pump and should replace the fuel lines and T fittings to which I agreed. Since he understandably did not have parts on his truck, he took what he claimed was the bad fuel pump assembly and over $300 of my money and I haven't seen him since except when I accidently ran into him at a Home Depot. When I called him to follow up, he said he had a man working on finding a replacement fuel filter but wasn't having any luck but he would be in touch in a few days. After weeks passed I made more phone calls but he stopped answering my calls and did not respond to voice mail messages I left him. I figured he was probably screening my calls with Caller ID so I called him from a friends phone and sure enough he answered. He assured me he would be back to finish the job and again he never showed. Months later on a Saturday I spotted him at the Home Depot and again Dwight promised he would come by and get my jet skis running. He even gave me a specific day and time so I really believed him. He never showed. So over a year later, I am stuck with these units sitting in my driveway with electronic cases, battery mounts and other parts just hanging loose as he left them and I don't even have the fuel pump assembly he took. Today I go online to look him up and find he has moved from Thousand Oaks CA area to Kauai, HI. I can pretty much assure anyone that the Laurie S. review on Yelp is fallacious. Dwight is a one man show and there is no company expansion except that he might be going back and forth. Dwight appears to be very nice and down to earth but he is not sincere or responsible. I don't buy his proclaimed history with the US Marines. Marines are respectful, responsible and get the job done. Dwight took my money, took my parts and did not get the job done and has left me and the jet skis in worse shape than before he first showed up. Being a mobile service is nice for the customer but it's also nice for him since he doesn't need the overhead of running a shop. But his biggest advantage is you can't track him down when he runs off with your money, parts and unfinished job because he got in over his head. I highly recommend you don't make the mistake I made. Do not let him take parts from your boat or RV. Do not pay him a dime until he is completely done with the job and you are completely satisfied.
