The place is kept super clean and there are plenty of barbers so the wait for walk-ins is minimal. I had Adrian and I have to say this was the best haircut ever!!! He listened to everything I wanted and made sure I was completely satisfied before he was through. He never was in a hurry and we had a good conversation also. I transitioned to Grayscale a few months ago and it's been a great experience. I have been going to Steven and he has been on point each time. Your appointments are made online and you have a choice of barbers and services. The only thing missing for me are TV's. Every barber shop I have ever visited had TVs for sports in addition to the conversation with your barber. That would make them a 5 star. Hopefully that may be something they can add to make it a perfect experience. read more

There is nothing like a hot towel shave and a nice beard trim to fit your face shape. I got my cut by Steven M. and he has skills with a straight razor. I recently started my beard journey again, my beard curls as it grows out and it grows odd, but he blended the fade decent. The towel shave was refreshing, but c'mon Greyscale, let's get those towels hotter! The barbershop has a laid back atmosphere and there is always someone cleaning so no slipping on hairs. I just moved to Katy and finding a new barbershop was at the top of my to do list, but it was also something I was nervous about since I didn't know what to expect from shops in a new city. I landed on Grayscale because of their Instagram presence and their proximity to my neighborhood, and I'm so glad I did. Specifically, Jay made this experience incredibly welcoming from the moment I sat in his chair. He went out of his way to get to know me, understand what kind of cut I was trying to get, and even recommended places for me and my girlfriend to check out around town. It was close to where I was working. Walked in Jacob gave me a great flattop. He was friendly. Fast. And did a great freehand flattop. The place is a little pricey but not bad. They do take care too many barbershops don't that was another reason I tried it. Next time. I'd make an appointment and I'd definitely ask for Jacob again. read more

The cut was all good until he started shaping and trimming my beard, I explained to him I didn't have a full beard so just shape it without trimming much. The barbers I used to go to were in the loop, but moving back to the burbs in Houston I had to find someone I really like. Miguel (Owner) is down to earth and runs the establishment really good. Family friendly, but still has the barber shop vibes of having good conversations. I go back & forth between Miguel & Oscar. You can't go wrong with either of them. This place is extremely pricey for a haircut! I definitely would not recommend coming here. I payed $40 each for my little brothers to get taper fades! I wished I asked before allowing them to cut their hair, which is what I would recommend for anyone to do! $40 for a cut it's a ripoff! read more
