I made the mistake walking into this bArBeR on a Sunday- yes I know worse day to get a cut but o work a tight shift on the week. I walk in and both of them look at me like they don't even want to cut hair one looks to the other he says you can cut his hair so he says what kind of haircut you want a walk up to him he says $60 so I said ok cool it's Sunday and yal was about to close... fuck it.. He tells me there was a guy who was just here and he was about to get a haircut but he took off and said he was gonna come back....red flags . He said do I wanna come back back? I said no I wanna wait for the haircut I sat there for an hour and 30 minutes waiting..then the guy pulled up in his car and his little son. He sat down right in front of me so I walked over to the barber and I said hey I see the guy return should I just leave because I know you're gonna want to cut his hair- he said no I'm gonna cut your since you waited. So he finishes a haircut and he walked straight over to the little boy and start getting him in the seat. I look over at him and I just walk out.... Never again. read more

Not the best haircut I have ever gotten, but not the worst. 1 star review because when I showed up for my 3:25 appointment, the store was closed. When I called him, he said that he could come back an hour later as he had to pick up his kids. I said that wasn't going to work and I rescheduled with him for the same time next day. Next day I show up at my appointment but he is still in the middle of cutting someone else's hair. I wait around for 30 minutes until one of his barbers shows up and he gets me taken care of. At this point, I have wasted an hour of my life here. It took me 15 minutes to get down there for my first appointment to an empty shop and then 15 minutes to get back. Then I am sitting there for 30 minutes while he is chatting away with his customer. The barber who cut my hair said that he would be willing to work something out with me due to the inconvenience and offered that I pay him $30 for the $45 haircut, which seemed fair. The problem was that it wasn't his mistake in the first place, so it didn't seem right that he was going to eat the cost for his boss' mistake. So instead I asked Danny what he would do to make things right, and he said "we don't do anything like that here". Even after reiterating that I showed up to an empty shop yesterday and that he had me sitting around for another 30 minutes today, he basically told me to pound sand. I went back, paid the guy that cut my hair the full $45 because I know Danny wasn't gonna take care of him, and by the time I was back he was already spinning the story to the guy in his chair about how he is not responsible for managing his own schedule. First time going there, won't be going back. read more

What an absolutely amazing unrushed experience! I came in with a full beard that hasn't been shaven/cut since....the pandemic started back in March. I trimmed it here and there at home, but this was the first time I had it professionally cut since I needed to look decent for an event. Appointment was booked. Walkins at the moment are not allowed. I'm fine with that as that will decrease the amount of people waiting in the front. Because this place is so good, I BET pre-pandemic this place was packed. The barbers spend real quality time giving your hair/beard the attention it deserves. My barber was Yolanda and I will definitely be going back to her. I hear the others are good too, so I'm fine letting chance decide who I get next since the other reviews say that all the barbers are pretty good. I came to her with a picture of some celebrity that I wanted to look like. You can tell she's an expert in her craft, because she specifically told me what parts I could and could not do based on my hair profile/follicles/etc. Definitely recommended! read more

1 star for time management. My sons first cut with "Jamal Thompson" was scheduled for 10am he didn't arrive until 10:45am. He cut nice so i made a 2nd appointment and that was scheduled at 12, he then rescheduled to 1pm then 1:30pm i ended up canceling. I thought I'd give him another try so today we had an appointment for 11am but he text me saying he won't be ready until 11:30 but that turned into 12:30.(mind you i was already in the parking lot at 10:50 and we live 30 min away so i didn't want to turn around. I honestly wasn't expecting him to take an hour and half.) I asked him what about it and he responded with "i had things to do and things came up." 5 stars easily, Jamal is going to get you right. Turned me from a 3 to a 10, went from 1 baby mama to 3 and when they saw my cut they started paying me child support, walked into a job interview and the manager gave me the job. If you can't achieve all of these things after he cuts your hair you might just be too ugly. read more

I take my son here and he always has a good experience but the cuts are inconsistent. I suppose that should be expected with different Barbers but I would think a bald fade was pretty standard. Prices are fair and the shop is clean and family friendly. Never too crowded and I like the efficiency of their sign in. My son is an adult with special needs. Communication can be somewhat of a challenge but the barbers have always been patient with him. There was an intense argument between the owner and a stylist during one of our visits. It was so inappropriate. Flare ups can happen in any workplace but they should never play out in front of customers. read more

Made an appt yesterday to get a haircut and beard trim. Showed up at 9 am as scheduled but the the barber, jamal Thompson,isn't even here. It's been 45 minutes already and still a no show. Not a very good first impression. Guess I'll continue looking for another barber that wants my money. The other barber that bothered to show up for work offered to cut it but he was busy cutting other people's hair and had another customer waiting.
