I called ahead to make sure they were open and still doing propane refills. They told me there's a minimum of 5 gallons at $4.29 per gallon, so the charge would be $21.45 plus tax. I called around to check a few other places and found one that was a little cheaper, but it was a pretty long drive. Since I was already here, I went ahead and got it filled. The service guy, Adria, who filled the tank was really nice, and so was Alvaro at the counter. My tank actually only needed 4 gallons, and Alvaro was kind enough to charge me just for the 4 gallons instead of the 5-gallon minimum. Happy customer. One helpful tip: when you arrive, don't go to the front desk first. Drive straight in to the propane station. They'll give you an invoice, and then you take that inside to pay when you're done.

Howard actually has a degree in Sociology and if you have the chance to have a conversation with him you'll realize that he is truly an enlightened person. He was on time for his appointment, hauled away 1500 lbs of old metal piping for free (I gave him a $20 tip just because I thought he was awesome and appreciated his service) and we had some great conversation. "Just use your brain" and "This is 2026 and you've never seen a copy machine before?". There was more, but I think this gives you an idea. Use an extremely sarcastic tone of voice when you read those quotes. I can't remember being treated like that in a place of business ever.
