Although we went with the burger bar, they do also offer more traditional catering as well -- they have an incredibly expansive menu. Also they had a great price point compared to competitors in the area -- about half the cost of some other quoted prices.

Several of the St. Louis cousins decided to hold a family reunion, and needed to find a reasonably priced, nice restaurant to hold a dinner for 70 members of the family, who got together for the first time in decades. I was sent to scout out Syberg's private dining facilities, and was very impressed with the newly renovated room. The price was reasonable and we had a buffet with three entrees, potatoes, pasta, vegetables and salad. The price included tea, coffee and desert. The room was set beautifully, and the tables had very nice linens and place setting. The food was wonderful, served hot, and professionally. The staff of the restaurant was attentive and very professional. I heard nothing but praise for the quality of the food, and how nicely it was served. Definitely consider Syberg's if you have an event. We had plenty of room, and everyone could mingle and chat after dinner. Top flight facility for an event.

Martha cooperated and let them in so that the agents wouldn't come in the back of the facility where some employees were, wonder what was being hidden. She was told they were Homeland Security, had a meeting and left. Chef at G2G, told certain employees to leave and they didn't come back while it was happening. Now after giving 2 days notice to her employees, she closes Gourmet to Go. To add final insult to injury, she doesn't pay out all of the employees vacation time. Only some get accrued vacation and others get the total on their paystubs. Still has the employees who left working at her La Bonne Bouchée Wholesale bakery, I would avoid this woman and her businesses.

Not only did he do so, he went many steps above & beyond the call of duty to do so. He invited me back in for another try, to allow me to sample the food as it was meant to be. I was greeted by Drew's manager John, who was made aware of my situation & he asked me what I'd like to try & of course...I was thrilled just to have a sample of the chicken salad, the rotisserie chicken & the burnt ends. John prepared for me a very nice plate of a 1/2 rotisserie chicken, a few pieces of the burnt ends & a healthy sample of the chicken salad. (I have to note....the 1st time I tried this, it was the very best chicken salad I've EVER had, hence my enthusiasm for wanting it again!) Honestly, I felt as though I was in a different restaurant than I was the night I had come there with friends! The chicken salad was as amazing as I tried it the first time, the rotisserie chicken was juicy, tender & well seasoned & the burnt ends were a treat in and of themselves! Tender, juicy, full of flavor and something one might consider crave-able. My first experience here was amazing and the friends that took me here come all the time raving about it. I shared that experience with them, and therefore couldn't wait until I could bring a group of friends with me to enjoy this gem in Creve Couer. When I wrote my initial review, it was not with the intent to bash the owner, the restaurant or the employees that work hard to provide the experience we all come to expect. I simply wanted to reach out to the owner so that he knew what was going on while he was not here. If he's not here, he won't know. If I don't take the time out to say what is wrong - how will he know that maybe something needs to be corrected? I am the first one to make sure an establishment knows when they are doing things RIGHT (and not too many take the time to do so). This was literally the very first negative review I've ever given, and this experience and how well the owner & his manager handled it taught me a valuable lesson. The guy who took the order seemed a bit upset and didn't really talk much. He sent me up front to pay and then said to come back in 5 min for the food. After a few minutes I came back and the other folks helped find the order. They were both very friendly, and helpful. Must have just caught the first guy in a bad moment. Is it a place for date night? No. It is worth going there and grabbing lunch to eat outside on a nice day? Hard "YES"! Great food at a good value and a local place, can't ask for much more than that!

We ordered our food to-go after seeing the inside. I ordered the Monty sandwich, a toasted roast beef sandwich with salami as well. The meat tasted rather low-quality and the sandwich was overly chewy. My mom's Westwood Sandwich, a chicken salad on croissant, was slightly better but nothing to write home about. The prices were great, and it's always nice to support a local business, but we would probably not give this place our business again.
