The kitchen got my order wrong (fries instead of a side salad) but the bartender, who was awesome (White dude with hand tats) noticed and fixed it quickly. I enjoyed the vinaigrette on the salad, but wish it had more veggies than just lettuce. The chicken sandwich still had the aioli on it which I had requested to be removed, but I still ate it because I didn't want to be "that guy". The sandwich itself was pretty bland-didn't taste like the chicken had been seasoned or marinated. Kitchen staff needs to tighten it up and pay attention to detail. read more

Had dinner here a couple of times and really enjoyed it. This last time, though, is why I'm knocking off a star or two. I got a rare opportunity to go out and chose here. Sat at the (half empty) bar. Waited about ten minutes, during which time no one ever appeared behind the bar. No one greeting customers. No one taking orders. No one pouring drinks. This was on a Saturday night. If you're not going to staff your bar on a Saturday night I'm not sure when you will staff it adequately. I've been here several times and had great meals here with family and friends. Today (Sunday 11/5) I had great service from my waitress Maurine but had a poor experience when it came to my food. I ordered a salmon burger and got a burnt black circular slab of something that didn't look like salmon so I sent it back and got Shrimp tacos instead. Some of the pineapples in the shrimp tacos were dark brown and the shrimp was overly salted.. fortunately Maurine took both the salmon burger and fish tacos off the bill without me having to ask which was nice of her. Not even sure what happened exactly because I didn't really get a straight answer when I called to check on the delay. HIGHLY recommend that folks dine-in instead of doing takeout. I understand that everyone is adjusting to new systems, but we had to wait 1.5 hours for our food because our order got lost. And it took half an hour for them to realize my order got lost. While it may have not been their fault, I was unimpressed with how they handled the loss of my order. Nobody offered any snacks or drinks while we waiting. It took me talking to the manager (after 1.5 hours) to finally get offered some sort of compensation. Went here with the family. Burgers were OK, although a little more pink in the middle even though we requested medium well for the adults and well for the kids. All four orders of french fries were inedible. They were cold, hard and stale when brought to the table. At least the server offered to bring out one fresh order but by the time she came around our burgers were already half finished. Four almost complete servings of french fries thrown in the garbage. I stopped in on a Sunday and sat at the bar to watch some football. I was immediately impressed with the cleanliness and wide open feel of this place. The bar was sleek and well decorated with color changing lights in the center with two large TVs on either side playing Sunday NFL. I even rejected the idea of having some Whistle Pig or another local spirit. If I wasn't driving, I would have had plenty of local brew or booze options. I was impressed with the menu. It was concise and had plenty of options for a variety of cravings. The bartender recommended the spicy burger. I thought that sounded good but I have a weakness for Boucher Blue in Highgate. The Green Mountain burger came to me perfectly medium rare and juicy with good seasoning and sear. It was topped with a good portion of the cheese along with maple bacon (I think - I don't quite remember it being there) arugula, tomato and slightly sweet picked onions. I asked for extra garlic aioli on the side so I could dip my fries in it. It had a mellow garlic flavor which complimented the contents of the burger. The fries were hand cut and served crispy and they complimented the aioli. The brioche bun was just ok. I would have liked to have more texture and a little less sweetness. My burger would have paired well with a hearty and savory bread but the brioche was not a deal breaker. It's exciting to have another restaurant option in Williston that focusses on the local ingredients. I wish the price would reflect the money we should be saving on shipping over long distances. My burger, fries and water was $14 so $20 with tax and tip. I think that is a little steep for a 6oz. patty of beef no matter how local it is. I'll be back for more Boucher blue. Ok, so we tried Grazers again. We were hopeful that our previous issues would have been addressed. Unfortunately we ran into the same problem. They simply do not season their meat. The burger was the worst of the items we ordered. They were bland. A pinch of salt and some pepper in the meat or salting the patty before you cook it would go a long way. On a separate note, the men's room was dirty and unstocked. Not really fitting with the atmosphere they appear to be trying to present. The lack of a clean restroom sort of speaks to an inattention to details. If you're not paying attention to your restrooms, then I don't know if you're paying attention to things in the kitchen. We're done with this place. Grazers presents itself as an upscale burger joint. It can't get its signature dish right. If you're going to charge $11 for a burger, you need to make it perfectly or it's simply not worth it. Just OK won't cut it at that price. My friend and I decided to give them a try this week. It was early lunch and we got to pick our seats which was good as we can get rather vocal when we discuss the current state of politics. The hostess was nice and our waitress was pleasant and gave us plenty of time. We started with the lamb cigars and then started our conversation while I waited for my beer. Good selection. The cigars arrived and they were huge. Ground lamp in a fried wrapper with some kind of sauce and pickles on the side. Hot and delicious and one for each of us. I ordered the lunch special which was an open faced burger with cheese and sawmill gravy and a cup of fries while my friend tried the ahi burger with a side salad. Both were in their own way delicious. His was covered with salad so he had 2 salads for the price of one. Mine was delicious. As our meal progressed with the lunch hour the place started to fill up. They were advertising oysters but when my friend asked they said they were out. He was disappointed but the cigars took their place. Top it all off with a big Switchback and I'm stuffed to the gills and a happy camper. The only minus was the atmosphere and seating. I recently stopped into this newly opened burger restaurant right next door to the Majestic 10. I was DESPERATELY hoping this place was awesome as Williston is in need of a good, non-chain burger place. I wrote a pretty long review because I had a lot of time to kill waiting for my food, so I reviewed as I sat there. Drinks At first look, there are a number of interesting cocktails alongside the overly sweet ones catering to the 21st birthday crowd (I'm looking at you Gummi Bear Martini). That said, the cocktails are expensive across the board, which is why I was disappointed to find soda is hiding in everything, including the "Martinis". . Appetizers I had the fried artichokes which were battered, seemingly in flour without any seasoning. Somehow the artichokes were overcooked while the batter coating wasn't browned or crispy--maybe the artichokes were canned leading to their soft texture while otherwise undercooked exterior. Milkshake I had the Salted Carmel Shake and added a shot of Makers Mark. The taste was delicious, but the milkshake was super thin in texture. I'm not sure if it just sat a while and melted before I got it, or if it was mostly milk and little to no ice cream. Burgers I had the Farm Burger with a fried egg and bacon. The upside was they cooked the egg so the yolk was runny. The downside was that sometime before the burger got to me, the yolk broke and cooked into the plate likely as it sat under a heat lamp. Overall the burger was pretty dry and tasteless. My fiancée ordered the Barn Burner. His burger was almost inedible. No heat, but probably eight full springs of cilantro. He added the pork belly to the burger, and this was woefully dry and flavorless. The chiles were so charred they tasted like charcoal. Both burgers were requested medium rare and came well done. The best part of the meal was the fries (at least my fries which were hot and crispy while his were cold). Service Service was friendly, but slow and inconsistent. This is an area I'll forgive as the restaurant just opened, but if it doesn't get better is may be the nail in the coffin. I'll say that a while most of my food critiques were probably intrinsic to the food, a little less time under the warmer (or out of the freezer in the case of my milkshake) might have solved some of the issues. The use of iPad/iPod for ordering is likely meant to seem sleek and modern, but ends up being clunky as the staff is not yet accustomed to it. Hopefully this will get better with time, but system lacks flexibility--the waitress struggled with our burger additions despite them being advertised on the menu. Lastly, having to enter my tip on my waitress' phone is unpleasant, especially since I was disappointed in the service. Just let me privately sign a check like a normal restaurant. Vibe The general decor and vibe is standard for the area-- exposed wood, Edison bulbs and interesting hardwood. That said there's a bit if a crisis of concept at work. The bar is lit with multicolor LEDs and has a whole shelf devoted to flavored Smirnoff alongside the Whistlepig and Barr Hill. Unless Smirnoff has opened up a distillery in the NEK, it seemed out of place. Overall I will almost always give a restaurant a second shot if I first visit during opening week. I'm struggling to want to do that here since I was so disappointed. That said, I need a burger joint, and maybe they'll get the hang of it in a few weeks/months? For now I'll just be sticking to popcorn and candy when I go to the movies. read more

We are frequent patrons of Grazers, and often have dinner prior to a movie. Tonight, we were seated 40 minutes before a movie. The restaurant was not at all crowded. We informed our waitress that we had a short timeframe, and ordered our food & drinks immediately. It took nearly 20 minutes to get a bottle of beer & can of cider...and the full 40 minutes for our food to arrive. Tack on another 3 minutes to get silverware. The cost of a drink however was outrageous. What should have been a $6.00 rail cocktail was $9.00. We went opening week, so I wasn't expecting Grazers to be fully polished yet. That being said, I'm just going to point out a few things that I noticed. I'll be back again and write a full review once they've had some time to settle in. Appearance - It's nice and clean inside, but the floor is abnormally slippery / greasy. Did someone rub hamburger patties or bacon all over the floor? Service - The waitstaff is very friendly, great job, no complaints here. The itouch ordering thing is kinda cool, but certainly doesn't speed up anything. Food - The fries were talked up by the waitstaff as being awesome. They were soggy and very disappointing given all the hype. Reading other reviews it sounds like maybe we just got an old batch. I'll chalk this up to opening week, but I really hope the soggy fries is not a permanent thing. I got the Farm Burger - as said in another review, it was almost as if my egg yolk broke as it was put on the burger. The yolk was totally soaked in the bun by the time I got it. That being said, it was still a good burger and I ate the whole thing - I'd just work on the delivery (maybe consider plating it without the top bun to smash things?). My wife had a pretty standard burger (bacon, cheese) and said the meat could use a bit of seasoning. Onion Rings - Someone at the table ordered these as an app, they were good (not soggy like the fries). Shakes - I tried the Salted Carmel and it was awesome - I'd get it again. I tried two other flavors that were at the table and I enjoyed those as well. We asked about a malted shake option (as many decent milk shake makers should include) - it was not an option. And it was good but not great. Patty was thicker than Five Guys but not as large as Farmhouse, prob around 6 oz. All our parties' were slightly overdone, with zero red in it despite ordering medium doneness. Meat was moist but not especially tasty. Toppings were good, brioche bun was good but my wife's was cold to the touch. Prices were between $11-17 depending on toppings. Other Cons: - Slow service: we arrived at 11:45am with the place basically empty, but still waited about 20min for our food. - Uneven service: one burger was supposed to be plain, but had cheese on it; one dish of fries was cold Pros: - Good fries. We had a variety of orders, all were a good balance of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Be forewarned the truffle fries have spicy chili flakes. - Good draft beer list - Facility was sleek, open and clean - Staff was friendly It's right next to the movie theater, so I anticipate that Friday dinner and Saturday lunch & dinner it will be packed. I wanted to like it more, and I think we will go back and try again. But if you're going to make your burger the centerpiece of your restaurant, it better be a great burger. I think it may be a bit sophisticated for some, especially those used to Five Guys and Chilis. But you definitely get what you pay for...farm fresh ingredients and great beer.
