Hands down the best roast pork anywhere. Period…read more Abbruzzi & Giunta's Italian Market is as authentic as it gets. The roast pork is unreal -- perfectly seasoned, incredibly tender, and honestly can't be topped. Every bite reminds you what a true Italian market is supposed to be. Everything here is done the right way, with quality ingredients and old‑school care. On top of that, the people are super nice, welcoming, and genuinely appreciative of their customers, which makes the experience even better. This place is a gem. If you love real Italian food and want something that never disappoints, Abbruzzi & Giunta's is a must. We'll keep coming back again and again.

Upon walking in the smell was phenomenal and I was excited ... but that excitement quickly faded as I saw pretty empty refrigerated cases and struggled to find a menu. Even after finding the menu it was absolutely underwhelming . My bf made up a sandwich he wanted to have them make and I decided to go with the roast beef sharp provolone and horseradish wrap but with an Italian roll instead of a wrap. The roll was about 6 hours away from being stale and I had to add my own balsamic glaze and roasted red peppers at home to give the sandwich some life. My bf enjoyed his sandwich way more than I did but did say it wasn't anywhere near as good as the market sandwiches were used to up north. Oh and the customer service was mid at best. There's no organization as it pertains to a line or ticket system so it's a little confusing too.

Also we were given small samples of gelati with cherries in the bottom of the cup. I ordered the Don which is a chicken parm sandwich with vodka sauce and fresh mozzarella. Before you buy any of the sandwiches make sure you look on the menu or ask. Not all sandwiches come out hot. The Don is NOT hot when you get it. I took it home and reheated in my toaster oven. People complain about this but it is marked on the menu next to the items name. If it says hot it'll come hot. If it doesn't say that it will be cold/room temp. The Don was really good. I don't think my sandwich had vodka on it though. The price was $18 and it's a two meal sandwich. My wife had the caprese sandwich and said the tomatoes were thin and it was really good. They have cannolis and other treats as well. They do make fresh bread but once it's gone it's gone. Two really sweet women were helping us and they answered our questions. It's on the end of the strip mall with enough parking spots. We also bought some dried pasta and they carry the Mutti brand from Italy if you want authentic Italian. I'll definitely be back and should have take more pictures while I was there. ‍ Mangia!!

I was pleasantly surprised to see AN ACTUAL BUTCHER shop in my area, so I stopped in to check it it…read moreout. I almost passed the place, because it is easy to miss, but I am glad I found it. At first, I was just happy to see some interesting and useful veggies and delicacies (Italian, Spanish and other nationalities). But, as I went to the rear of the store, I saw an old fashioned, honest to goodness butcher. There wasn't a ton of stuff in the case, like my former big Italian Butcher shop in NYC, but as we chatted I was to be pleasantly surprised. They were very accommodating. They are even going to get in some whole dried hot chili peppers I have been looking for. I was told by Fabio, the butcher, that they make their own sausage and other items, without chemicals or additives. I asked if there was any possibility of getting a cut of pork neck meat that I used to get in NYC that cooked up like veal cutlets. He brought out some neck meat, and we could see it was too narrow. I asked if it was possible it had been butterflied. He tried it, and it was exactly what I was looking for! So I got my 5 cutlets, the price was great, and was I elated. (Whenever I cooked them, people always said they were the best veal cutlets they ever had because they were so moist and have no grizzle. Of course, I would fess up eventually, lol.) I asked if he might be able to make stuffed veal roasts and other types of roasts, and chicken rollatini. He said he could make whatever I wanted!! He told me if he didn't already know how, that If I told him what I wanted he would either do what I suggested, or research how it should be done. I struck pay dirt with this place! There was some nicely marbled rib eye temptingly displayed right in front of me, that I eventually decided to take. Heck, I was sitting there looking at it the whole time, and it was only $6.99 a lb. He trimmed it as I asked before weighing, and cut it to the thickness I asked for. Of course, like any butcher, they have all sorts of goodies in the back. I will absolutely be back... I can't believe I didn't know the place was there. They've been open 7 months. You gotta try this place.
