Horrible. They changed 2 air filters that didn't need to be changed. Looked back at service history and one was changed last time! Up charging for things not needed just to make a buck! NEW OWNERSHIP + MANAGEMENT IS INCOMPETENT + NOT QUALIFIED. If I could give zero stars I would. The new ownership is absolutely terrible. I've gone twice in the last month and both times were frustrating. The first trip they were going to take my tire off to change the oil filter. The oil change took over 45 minutes and I immediately took the car to a mechanic to check if everything was okay. The second trip they made excuses about the oil company needed to calibrate their gun because they put way too much oil in my car. That trip took over 40 minutes. DO NOT TRUST THE BEAVER DAM LOCATION. That is the last time going there. I got the cheapest oil change at $70. Absolutely ridiculous. I feel like my engine is going to blow up. While out in the parking lot next door, I heard and then couldn't help but watch in amazement the manager help a distressed college student who didn't know much about vehicles. The boy was cold, probably scared and not sure what to do. The manager immediately located why his vehicle was running hot, simple fix and got the boy to go inside to warm up. I have been going to grease monkey for the past 3 years. After my last visit, my car unexpectedly was almost completely out of oil. I had a very bad experience with Grease Monkey a few years ago and requested a flush. I had a higher mileage vehicle and my oil light had just came on. I stopped in to see if my pump was working and we they mentioned trying a flush. So we did a flush then after the flush was done they asked if I would like synthetic as normal. Once my they filled me up with the synthetic oil they then told me none of the flush fluid made it through the filter. Typical corporate greed. I have only been back to Grease Monkey twice. Got my service done today as I was in a hurry and didn't want to head into Madison. I drive 30 minutes to work and come out and there is a small puddle of fresh oil under my truck. Checked over my work order and noticed they have a check list of items. Windshield washer fluid, tire pressure, wiper blades. these are all checked filled or completed. They never inspected the windshield wipers, windshield washer fluid is next to empty and my tpms is reporting a tire is low all things i knew about prior to stopping. These small things may not see like much but it makes one think what else are they not doing while under our vehicles. I will check for oil leaking in the morning. Hoping they tightened everthing I have not had oil leaking prior to this. read more

About 5 weeks ago, we had our oil changed at the Beaver Dam location. After paying, we went on our way. 30 miles down the road, our oil light came on, and we pulled off the highway and looked underneath the car, only to see oil dripping out. We immediately called Grease Monkey, and were told to have the vehicle towed to our mechanic for diagnosis. The manager asked if he could come look at the vehicle and he would bring some oil. We told him that we would prefer to have our usual mechanic look at it instead. The manager told us to save our receipt, as they would pay for the towing and the repair bill. This was on a Friday evening. We had to have relatives come get us from the side of the road, we paid to have our vehicle towed to a mechanic, and were without a vehicle all weekend. Monday morning our mechanic looked at our vehicle and told us that the oil filter was not screwed on tight and that we had oil all over inside the engine compartment. We had NO oil left in the reservoir. 6 quarts lost all over the road. We have submitted the bill in person to the manager TWICE, and have emailed the invoice to a Mr. Trevino TWICE and haven't even gotten a response. WE have also inquired to Mr. Trevino 3 times asking what was going on. We have stopped in to the Beaver Dam location several times, only to be told that they "were working on writing us a check." This is beyond ridiculous. And, Stacy T., before you reply with the "reach out to us so we can rectify this situation immediately"...you HAVE ALL OUR INFORMATION ALREADY, we have sent it 4 times!!! This time, we want actual ACTION on your part, not just words. You've blown enough smoke up our ass. Have someone who has the ability to write a damn check contact us immediately. Along with the $170 tow bill, you should, at the least, reimburse us for the oil change as compensation for our time and inconvenience. Mr. Trevino and your Beaver Dam manager have our contact information. I am initiating small claim action through Dodge County, have a sworn statement from my mechanic diagnosing the NEGLIGENCE on Grease Monkey's part, and I will be using my experience in Public Relations to spread the word far and wide what a disreputable, horrid company Grease Monkey's is, and what our miserable experience has been with you. Social media will help me get the word out, and if we haven't been paid IN FULL by 7/9/25, I will be sitting right out in front of your Beaver Dam location with a nice big sign warning all potential customers of your shoddy workmanship and your lies. Be prepared to be upcharged like no tomorrow, brought my car in for an oil change requested full synthetic, they proceeded to change my oil as requested then after they were done he informed me that bc I have a foreign car I needed the most expensive premium full synthetic, this was absolutely not true for my car and it was almost a full $100 more after tax from what I requested, I am dumbfounded that you can fill someone's car with something they didn't request WITHOUT ASKING FIRST, then i have to pay an insane amount bc you don't know what your talking about, on top of it all they gave me a sticker that said to come back after 1,500 miles, they really want to milk you as much as they can, DO NOT GO HERE read more

Lack of courtesy, not customer friendly. Once this location did a nice job and we used them often over the last 15 years, but no more.

Trent and his team were very kind and helpful! They were fast and efficient. I would recommend to anyone who needs an oil change.
