Absolute disappointment …read more I trusted this shop based on past experiences because they used to be helpful. We are not just returning customers. We have used them several times over the years and have referred many people to them. I sent my child there for a second opinion after he was sandwiched in an accident, and needed a second opinion because the first shop couldn't find parts. I made an appt last week and explained the situation and that this was a second opinion and we needed also help finding parts. Steve told us to come back today, so we did. My son went in, Steve completely forgot the purpose of the visit, started questioning my son, then my son told me "the manager guy is angry and calling you" I said ok. Steve calls me, I re explain the situation, he says "your son says he doesn't plan to fix the car" (all while having a rude tone with me). I let him know that obviously we will be fixing it-- that's why we are bringing it to the body shop, to which "Steve" replied, "I'm not doing an inspection for free." I calmly asked (in my raspy voice because I'm sick), "How much would you like me to pay for the inspection?" He immediately snapped, "I can sense a tone in your voice so I'm not doing the inspection because of your attitude," and proceeded to yell at me (with my son standing in front of him) so I hung up. I am currently recovering from pneumonia, so no, I don't have a chipper, lady-like voice right now. The fact that he chose to yell at me in front of my child over "tone" is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. To be treated this way as a loyal, repeat customer who has supported and referred business to this shop is beyond disrespectful. It is also worth noting that the only person who replies to negative reviews appears to be the very individual I am describing here, which makes this experience even more concerning. I will not be returning. If you value being spoken to with basic respect, I suggest you take your business elsewhere. I will also be filing a complaint with the BBB.. And all the recommendations I made for them with my community, I'm retracting. Never again.

You could say my experience was... high caliber :) I was rear ended and the initial assessment looked like some damage to the rear, which ended up being worse when they looked closer. Regardless, they got it back to me sooner than predicted and cheaper than the initial estimate as well (good for the other guy's insurance!). I've never had a bad experience with Caliber Collision! I've been asking for years for a referral for a good, affordable, honest, local body shop. I've…read moretried Gates, Advance, Maaco, Abra, all the big names and even a few smaller local ones. Abra was always the cheapest, and while I had no issues with them, I always wanted to find a small town local option. My aunt told me about State of the Art and I brought my car there today. It's off the beaten path, technically in Sun Prairie, but I didnt see anything nearby except farms and a few homes. There's a no frills parking lot and a circa 1980 office where you walk in. The shop itself is more modern looking, and clean, but still very no frills. Chuck was very friendly and knowledgeable, as was Jack. They were very concerned about giving me the best value as a customer. Since my car was over 10 years old, they didnt want me to pay for anything unnecessary, unlike the chain shops that are more concerned about bringing everything back to factory condition. Jack is the owner, and Chuck says he's been working for him for over 30 years. They said most of their business comes from repeat customers and referrals. It's easy to see why. I'll definitely be going to them first in the future.

Since this was the first time I needed the services of a body shop, I asked around the neighborhood to get some recommendation on who to use. Everyone I spoke to who had a preference recommended Collision Masters. I met with owner Jeff Swafford, who surveyed the damage and he gave me a three day estimate to complete the repairs. Before I committed, I checked with one other body shop and they gave me a three week estimate to complete the repairs, so it was a no-brainer to go with Collision Masters. The repair process was easy peasy. Since the repair was being covered by my insurance, Jeff handled the all the paperwork for me. The repair work was completed in two and a half days and when I examined the vehicle, I could not tell where the deer hit my vehicle. The interior of the car was spotless, all the broken glass that littered the dash was cleaned up. An auto body shop is a service you never want to use, but if you need one in the Waunakee area, I have no reservations recommending Collision Masters.

Going home I just happen to pass Premier so i stopped in. Owner was in and he said he would take a look. We talked for a couple minutes and felt really comfortable. He wrote up a quote ata a great price and after comming back from FT.Bragg i was able to get my truck in. Great work on both sides and even a rust patch he took care of on the pack of my truck. Paint blending is spot on. All work done with in 2 days. I definitely know who to go to for future body work. Great people and great family business.

As I started getting quotes from other body shops, each one would provide quotes on the high side and told me that they would be unable to match my car's paint color. When I took my car to Premier Body & Paint for a quote, they were extremely professional and friendly. They gave me a fair price, and one of the first things they told me (before I could even ask) was that they would be able to match the paint. When I got my car back, it looked like new, and the paint perfectly matched. It was almost as if the car accident never happened. I am delighted with the work they did. Highly recommend.
