We brought our car back and our engine was on fire, Kevyn said it was because there was weather stripping that got caught in the engine from when they were doing the oil change. Kevyn refused to take responsibility for putting our lives in danger and refused to at minimum replace the trim that got damaged. He said it was our fault when there is video footage of that not being the case. 2 weeks later a customer rep called me to discuss what happened, she said they apparently Kevyn told my wife that there is a piece of weather stripping loose and my wife refused to let them fix it which is a LIE. Also, even if that was the case, what kind of mechanic would see a loose piece of weather stripping and not just put it back on??? It would take 3 seconds. The battery was about 5 years old so it was about time to replace it soon anyways, but the timing of it was weird since I hadn't had any issues with the car starting/the battery up until that point. They said they could replace it there but I chose not to. It didn't pass emissions due to the battery. I was given the option to come back and get a free retest within 15 days. I changed the battery and came back about a week or so later. I explained the situation and waited around 2 hours when they said it would be 25 minutes. The car didn't pass emissions again because apparently you are supposed to drive 50-100 miles on the new battery before it can be retested. Something about the computer not being able to connect. Maybe this is common knowledge but I had never heard about it until then and had to look it up later. I wasted 2 hours waiting to hear that and would have had to pay to retest it so I went somewhere else. They didn't have to, but I wish they would have told me about this before I came back or I would have waited and driven on the new battery more. I was dissatisfied with the lack of communication and how long it took with no warning that was how long it would be.

That was clearly not true. They kept my car for nearly 2 hours, and after all that, they still managed to overfill the engine oil. As soon as I got on the highway, my Mercedes gave me a warning that the oil level was too high -- which is not a minor issue and can potentially cause serious engine damage. So instead of getting a simple oil change, I ended up in a stressful and potentially dangerous situation because this location did not do the job properly. I then had to take my vehicle to the Mercedes dealership and have the oil service redone correctly. And to make it worse, the other things I specifically asked about and was assured they could do were not done either: * the wiper blades were not replaced * the service reminder was not reset So for about $150, I got: * an improperly done oil change * a potentially dangerous mistake * incomplete service * wasted time * and zero accountability No refund. No ownership of the mistake. No real apology. If you drive a Mercedes, European, luxury, or newer vehicle, I would strongly recommend taking it somewhere else. Instead today I brought my car to Les Schwab in Saratoga Springs to give a try. They checked all four tires and told me it only needed a patch. It only took them 30 minutes to fix my tire and didn't even charge me a cent. Thank you for being 100% honest with me and thank Grady he did such an amazing job being so patient with me during the whole service! As a tire shop, they never tried to push me to purchase new tires from them. I will definitely come back to them when I need new tires in the future.

I've used Les Schwab since they've opened to fix flats or add air to my tires but unfortunately…read morethis month I've had two expensive repairs. The first was a full brake job on my car. They did an excellent job and I can tell my brakes are much better than they were before. A couple of days after I had my brakes replaced, I hit a pothole or some debris in the road and punctured my tire. I have the type of car that if you ruin one tire, all the tires must be replaced. I left my car in the parking lot overnight because it was after hours, and it wasn't safe to drive. I called the next day to let them know the car was there and that the keys were in the dropbox. They quickly got to my car, replaced all of my tires, and they are smooth. The only silver lining was that I knew I was going to need tires soon, just came sooner than I expected. I think they always do a really nice job. They give you plenty of price options, are courteous, and answer all of your questions quickly. I will definitely keep coming back to Les Schwab in the future. Hopefully not anytime soon because this was an expensive month.
