They speak directly to work that needs to be done, are clear about costs and very respectful in manner. Then they get it done! They are awesome and I highly recommend them. This Grease Monkey location is one of the best mechanic garages I've visited in Omaha, and I've visited several in the passed 3 years I've lived here. Today I went to the location and had a flat tire plugged. The service was timely, the cost was reasonable, the staff was extremely friendly, and when I asked a question about something the mechanic explained to me the answer in detail. He also outlined everything that was done in my repair so that I understood the process. It's Saturday and the store closes in 10 minutes, but I still call. Keith Papst Sr. comes out to my location, jumps my truck, follows me back to Grease Monkey, and changes my battery-all the while being friendly, professional, and positive. Brought my Honda CRV to them in prep for a trip to Phoenix. Was greeted with a window wash even before any one approach me. People were very friendly and service with a smile. I ask them to check my radiator fluid / hoses and see if I needed any repairs. They topped off my radiator fluid, check my oil and gave me some window washer fluid and I was on my way. Everytime: quick, efficient, polite. I have been to several other places in the past for my oil change and each time I did, I would leave annoyed or unhappy. So I quit going to those places and started at Grease Monkey. I will never have anyone else take care of me and my car! They don't push you to buy things you don't need. I went in to get my oil changed a couple of times and they did a great job. They noticed that I had a couple of belts that needed to be replaced. They had never been replaced and the truck had 90,000 miles. They gave me a quote and it was very fair. I KNOW how hard it is to replace them. They had it done in no time. I went to Grease Monkey for my new-to-me 98 Ford Ranger to start fresh with a full fluid change. They checked all the fluids and told me the transmission fluid didn't need changing, it was very clean and new, probably to trade it in where I bought it. They didn't patronize me, or pressure me into additional services, they just let me know what care was needed, and suggested a more timely and consistent car maintenance schedule.
