At the recommendation of two of our friends, we chose Yeck's to look at my wife's 2013 Honda CRV with its 120,000-plus miles. They gave it their 50-point check-over and discovered a handful of items that needed attention, including a new battery. The estimate for the package was around $3,000, which we considered fair since the only maintenance that has been done in 13 years included oil changes, new tires and brake replacement. The work was completed in just a couple of days, and the final bill was just over $2,400 -- well below the original estimate. When we picked up the CRV, we were thanked by the very friendly woman working the front counter for choosing Yeck's and received a couple of gifts! Later that day, my wife was notified they forgot to replace the battery, and we came back the following Monday to have that done. Can't tell you what their actual service would have been like because we didnt get that far. We were having Triple A tow our broken down vehicle to a shop. They suggested Yecks, as a certified repair shop, so we said sure, take it there. When we got there they were extremely rude and unhelpful. They said they were 2 weeks behind, so don't even bother taking it off the truck. No empathy for our situation, no suggestions on what we should do. We asked why they didn't contact Triple A and let them know they couldnt accept any more vehicles. They just said it was Triple A's problem, not theirs. read more

Decided to choose Yecks because of the good reviews, which in my opinion was a good decision. The customer service and communication was outstanding. I'm not real knowledgeable about cars and costs for repairs, but for the research I did I felt Yecks was reasonable. When u call to set an appointment, ensure u ask about a loaner car. Don't wait as they will prob all be taken. Or u can just head to Village Cafe, which is a 2 min walk, while you wait for your car. read more

Disclaimer: I'm writing this review to help inform future-auto-repair-shoppers in the area considering Yeck's and to provide feedback to Yeck's management. Short version: Positive experience with some nitpicks (very expensive). Experience didn't blow me away, and I'll continue to see if better options are out there in the area. Long version: Being a relatively recent transplant to the area from California, I did a great deal of research online before finally deciding on Yeck's. Their reputation via online review sites checked out cleanly, and they offered some enticing coupons via their website. PROS +Friendliness of staff: -I called my mechanic at Yeck's and he answered some technical questions for me, and encouraged me to call with any questions in the future. I wasn't rushed, and he seemed genuinely interested in helping me become more educated about my car and the work that needed to be done. -The lady at the front desk is also welcoming and friendly. She reflects positively on the company. +Free loaner car: -Being a recent transplant to the area, I don't have the luxury of getting a ride from friends and family; the free loaner car is a massive convenience. +Honesty/Integrity -Going based on pure intuition, I never got the feeling I was being sold on superfluous work/services. -I had taken my car to a few other mechanics in the past, and Yeck's was pretty consistent with other diagnosis in terms of work that needed to be done. +Technical Work -I hired Yeck's for a "transmission flush" service (a ~$200+ job given the make/model of my car). The accelerator is responding better, and generally speaking, I'm satisfied with the work. Before getting the work done, my mechanic answered my questions thoroughly, and assured me quality manufacturer-standard fluid was used, and that the full and proper amount of fluid was replaced. + 2 year warranty + Accept major credit cards (nice convenience and added protection) + Mom-friendly (they had a mother's day contest that I entered for free all-day spa, very nice!). CONS - Tire Inspection-Air Pressure/Car Wash +After picking up my car, my ride home was noticeably bumpy. When I got home, I used my tire pressure gauge, and some tires had as much as 33 PSI (my make/model requires 30 PSI in all 4 tires.) I got the feeling that air was aimlessly pumped into the tires, in order to get the job done quickly, without carefully checking the proper specifications for my car, and adding/decreasing air accordingly. +Part of the service included a car wash and interior vacuuming. The car was cleaner, but there was still very noticeable parts left untouched on both the body and the interior of the car. If I was writing a review for a local car wash company, instead of an auto repair shop, it would be a 1 star review. -Written Quote/Pricing +The quotes were within a fair window, but consistently on the very high end when doing some price research and talking to friends who are familiar with the industry. For those looking for the cheapest possible price point, look elsewhere. +The printed quote was vague and I had to call the shop to get specifics. They were very nice in offering additional information, but ideally, it would have been written in detail in the first place, without the awkwardness of calling back and probing for more information about prices (I'm cheap, but I don'[t like to feel like it). -Waste/Disposal fee: +Relatively expensive ~$7 waste-disposal fee on the oil change. It surprised me when I went to pay for the oil change. I would have liked to know about the fee upfront or on the coupon. -Wait Time +On both occasions when taking my car to the shop, I had to drop my car off early in the morning (7am), and didn't get my car back until mid afternoon/end of business. These were for smaller jobs too (oil change, inspection, transmission flush, etc.). This includes having to call in as much as a full week in advance to book an appointment. The free loaner car makes this almost a non issue though. read more

Best in the area for towing. Best in the area for customer service. Yeck's does everything right, the first time. They are honest and I trust them. There is no place better for auto service or towning. The last time we had our son's car in they work on Saturday morning (they are closed on Saturdays) to finish it. Simply awesome. read more

We have been using Yeck's for 18 years, as long as we have lived in Bellevue. To say they are the best garage we have ever used is a drastic understatement. You will always get an honest answer and an honest price. They also have a FREE loaner car you can use while yours is in the shop...just refill the gas tank. Kathy is at the front desk and she is friendly, funny and professional. Women never need to feel uncomfortable going in there and trying to explain what is wrong. They will work with you and make sure it is right. And they have AAA'S highest rating! They also just remodeled their waiting area which is sooooo nice! Didn't receive any of this 'great' service they speak of in the other reviews. I took an old Jeep in to get battery tested and a smell checked out. A running Jeep with working battery. I come back and the only thing they have to say is they tested battery and it's dead, that'll be $60 and if I want them to explore smell it'll be over $100 to diagnose. Smh. The woman that I was supposed to pay for them ruining the battery was practically incoherent, didn't pay attention to anything mechanic said. I just wanted to pay and leave I was so infuriated, I can't believe I even paid them. The mechanic was not clear and did not answer my questions. They were just ripping me off. We are very pleased with the service we receive each time our vehicles are serviced at Yeck's. We dropped the vehicle off the night before and requested we get it back as soon as possible. We were pleasantly surprised to get a call saying the vehicle was ready for pickup. We really appreciate Yeck's getting the service done quickly and efficiently. Yeck's serviced my 2006 Dodge Ram. Front end parts including steering arms, CV boot replacement, full tune-up and fluid testing, and a sensor to allow the use of the "all important" cruise control. If you're needing vehicle service, this is the best place for your money. No kidding. read more

I took my car here in February to get my air filter changed and an alignment done also just a general inspection. When I first got there the lady at the front desk was very rude and dismissive. I knew them I should've said never mind and took my car else where. Instead I left it it took all day they literally did my car last and I dropped it off before 8 am. Steve was the guy who worked on my car her was cool. They told us all we needed was an alignment done and paid 100$ for that. As soon as I got my car back I heard funny noises as if something didn't get put back on there right, My car is quite quiet when it runs you barley hear anything or when your driving. So I took it to my dealership and had them go over their work. Of course he didn't put my air filter box back on which could've done damage to my car if I didn't take it to get check. He also DID NOT do an alignment on my car which I paid for. I got the paper work from my dealership stating it all. I paid for something that didn't get done it's a very sad world when businesses take advantage of young adults. I do not recommend this place. Service was ok I've had waaay better experiences.I learned to trust my gut instinct. I now only stick to my dealership. I will never go back to this place ever. read more

Yeck's is a very friendly little auto repair establishment. I went there to get an alignment and they were very good at accommodating me with my busy schedule and getting me in to have the work done. The lady at the front desk (Kathy, if I remember correctly) is super sweet and nice to talk to ! They had a loaner vehicle ready for me so I wouldn't miss a beat while my car was getting worked on. The price was fair and NOT ONCE did I feel like anyone was trying to pull a fast one on me and make me get work done that I didn't need. Took my car there for an estimate & then went back yesterday for repairs. They stayed within the range of the estimate, even though they found something else that needed fixing. Towed my car here when it broke down and they told me they needed to take apart my entire front end to fix. It sounded fishy to me because the problem was on the back side of the engine. After a quick forums and youtube search I found the problem could be fixed with no mention to taking apart the front end; I even called a dealership to confirm (I am not a car person and if I can simply look it up and figure it out then they should have had no problem doing the same/ faster with diagnostic equipment). I don't know if they diagnosed the problem correctly even after I told them what was wrong. Sounds like they were just trying to get more money from me or push me off because they didn't want to perform the work on a turbo. I ended up just taking it to the dealership even though they are always more expensive, at least they fixed it with no problems. (this was about a year ago) read more

We called on a snow day to have our vehicle towed and alternator replaced. They towed our vehicle quickly the same day, and it was finished in a timely manner. What we did NOT know was that they sublet out our car's service and we were charged 140 dollars extra for this. Because we had already paid, they refused to refund this money. We were not asked if they could sublet out our car's service, or told that this was even an option. It was far more expensive than anywhere else. I will not be using them again due to the shady way they make their money. read more
