The manager admitted their team likely overtightened the oil filter, cracking the housing and said he would personally fix it. Then, after talking to his district manager, he blamed a non-existent recall and said it had to go to a shop. Our vehicle was towed to Pep Boys, where it sat for 2 weeks while Take 5's insurance company avoided us. We paid $1,120 out of pocket for a diagnostic, just to be told later that Take 5 wouldn't cover it, even though the diagnostic confirmed they caused the damage. The lack of communication, accountability, and care has been exhausting. I wouldn't trust this location with an oil change again, let alone anything involving your car's safety.

They did a great job at changing my oil, filters, and multi-point inspection; they were more thorough than the dealership I've used in the past. I was however expecting it to be a little cheaper than it was; I paid about $140 with the coupon. I feel really confident in the mechanic that did my oil change; he was professional and let me know what he was doing or about to do the whole time I waited on my oil change. It took about 45 minutes which is pretty quick for an oil change and multipoint inspection.

I arrived at 10:40 and they couldn't find my appointment. Al was not there, just part-time, coming in at 4pm. The price he quoted was not honored. The price is $30. They got the truck in at 11:15. It wasn't done until 12:15. Everyone was doing a slow-walk. The person working on my truck disappeared into the pit under the truck for 20 minutes, I imagined taking a nap. Obviously paid by the hour. I observed the process from outside of the lined-off area. I like to watch work being done on my truck. That annoyed them. They closed the doors so I couldn't see. The service advisor said that I made them nervous watching them work (or waste time). I never got the feeling that they are competent for anything more than an oil change that takes an hour. Hopefully everything got tightened up well but I'm nervously watching for oil leaks. I'll go somewhere else next time.

That's a bit concerning during my trip so I found Alford Tire Center and b-lined to the garage. They offered to check it out... even though the tires didn't look low. I was relieved to find that my concern was for nothing. After 30 minutes of checking and rechecking, their tech could find nothing wrong. The big thing about this visit is in their treatment of me. They were kind... even at the end of their work day. I was not charged anything "because we couldn't find anything wrong with the tire." Although I live a hundred miles away... I'll recommend them to anyone living in Panama City, FL. I was well treated.

I had seen 2 Toyota dealers within the past 2 weeks and the issue persisted, $1500 later. Parkway road forced balanced my tires and had found an issue with one of my rear rims. It now rides smooth as silk again, which will make my drive home enjoyable again.
