Ordered mozzarella sticks, which arrived hot to the table and were perfectly crisp. The mozzarella stretched out like taffy. Yum yum. The red sauce tasted home made (?).....not cloyingly sweet, more on the savory side. The pepperoni pizza arrived piping hot and just how (in my opinion) a pizza pie should be made: loaded with mozzarella, topped with just-right amounts of thin pepperoni slices (crispy on the edges). The pie crust was airy and light, just a hint of sweet. Ended the meal by having a lovely conversation with the owner, Mike, who saw us sipping on Pepsis and promptly brought us over a sample of their signature, locally-made root beer.....made with real sassafras and HONEY.
