Here is the short story: The courtesy and kindness of the staff at Anderson Powersports in Reno…read moregiven to my husband, Bob, compels me to share our appreciation. Anderson performs its work with high professional standards and treats customers with exceptional service. We highly recommend Anderson Powersports! For those of you interested, here is the rest of the story: Since his original purchase, my Bob has taken his RZR side-by-side to Anderson for customized upgrades and extra bells and whistles. Just prior to our 2-week departure for a backcountry vacation with family, Bob picked up the RZR from Anderson after they had installed some new wiring and audio upgrades. Even though the RZR worked at Anderson and was unloaded at our home, on the day of our departure, it would not start. Figuring Anderson had failed to properly connect all wiring components, Bob became sooooo irate! The RZR doesn't work, he can't even load it up onto the trailer to bring it back to Anderson AND we are now delayed in meeting our family. When he telephoned the good folks at Anderson, they quickly made arrangements to send two members of the crew to our home (almost 20 miles away!). They arrived with tools plus the plan to physically push the RZR up on the trailer if they couldn't immediately solve the problem. Fortunately, Redmond got in the driver's seat and IMMEDIATELY started up the RZR to a sweet purr. What was the problem??? My husband did not have THE GEAR IN PARK! Bob was beyond embarrassed and couldn't apologize enough for his gruff, accusatory remarks. The guys shook his hand, told us, "We hope your trip goes well," and EVEN REFUSED to take payment for their house call. Who do you know that treats their customers so well? I only know of Anderson Powersports in Reno!

Summit took my word and sent me a replacement. They also gave me a discount on the gasket as my old one was wrecked in the corse of dealing with the defective valve cover.

Summit Racing - A Masterclass in Inefficiency…read more I walked into Summit Racing expecting a quick visit. What I got was a full-blown endurance test of patience. It started with a door greeter--clearly physically limited, yet insistent on escorting me to the product instead of just pointing. While I appreciate the effort, that move eliminates any chance I might browse for additional items. I grabbed what I came for and realized I needed one more inexpensive part--about $7. I asked an employee where to find it, and instead of helping, she just pointed to a line of 10 people. So I waited. When I got to the register, the guy behind it was slouched in a chair, resting his head on the counter like he was about to nap. He scanned my product and said it was all set. I asked where to pick it up, and he pointed me to another line--this one about 15 people deep. I waited again. Finally, I got to the front, the guy rang up my items, handed me a bag... and my $7 item wasn't in it. When I asked, he pointed to another line to stand in to get it. So back in line I went--for the third time. Fifteen more minutes pass. One poor guy is pulling orders while three others stand at the register chatting and doing absolutely nothing. When the orders come out, mine is clearly one of them--just a small part. The customer in front of me wants to open his boxes, check fitment, color, function, maybe even alignment with the stars. I politely ask if I can just grab my tiny part and go. The staff says, "No. You must wait." So I did--seven more minutes--because policies apparently matter more than people. This entire system is broken. Unnecessarily complicated, painfully slow, and staffed by people who don't seem to care if you ever come back. Spoiler: I won't. Summit Racing, you've lost a customer. And I honestly have no idea how you're still in business with a setup like this.

When I got it back the idle was set completely wrong and would not even idle. And you can see by the video cylinder number 4 is flooding out and won't even run otherwise I couldn't keep my hand on the exhaust pipe (2 days after I brought it home) I called and talked to them, they said something else must have got in there and clogged it because it was running fine when you took it (it really wasn't) .By Talking to them I gave them a chance to fix this, but they did not. I'm a decent mechanic myself but did not want to buy the Carbtune Pro to sync all 4 carbs, along with a ColorTone Plug,my thinking was to have them rebuild & sync them for the $1,000 instead of buying the 2 repair tools that cost me $600 . I've purchased these tools now & Working with the admin of XJ pages to diagnose & correct these problems. Instead of 40 mpg right it now gets 17 mpgs. I gave your shop a chance to fix this because you did not repair this correctly, but you guys balked at this offer. When & if I can repair what you guys did, you will be hearing from me.

Two places in town ran my credit & didn't bother calling me back, I'll put that in both their names are "powersports" and if they would have been more professional & let me know I was declined when they knew & didn't have me reaching out to ask I wouldn't be so salty. More to say but I'll leave it at that. I had no reason to believe Harley would approve me for even 1$. But in my situation, it wasn't gonna hurt to try. From the start the 3 individuals that helped me out, unfortunately I don't recall all their names but James who helped me fill out the application & look at bikes in my budget was super helpful & straight forward. After finding a bike I wanted we started the application process. They got me approved while I was still sitting there. I was shocked that I got an approval. Note my situation definitely came with a high APR but that was expected because of my history. I knew this & didn't care, I can refinance in a year and be better off for doing all of this. I appreciate the transparency & effort on their part to make it work for me. They definitely earned a return customer & for all I know ending of this year I could come back & upgrade! I appreciate all of you that helped me, Thank you !
