Hair Blush Salon NATICK, MA The person I had originally scheduled getting my hair colored with had gotten sick and so I think they were trying to fit clients in, which is fine. My new hair stylist seemed rushed, and she not very gentle. I had shown her some pictures of what I wanted and don't feel like they were executed. If I had know that if they could not have given the quality of service that I am used to that I would have rescheduled at a later date with my original hair stylist. I don't feel like that experience was worth the $300 price tag. I visited the salon many times before and all of my other experiences were 10 out of 10. This was the one outlier. I will be back in the future and generally do really like this salon. My stylist was very kind however, she was splitting time between myself and another client, it seemed, and was not as attentive as I'm used to at this salon. She seemed like she rushed through coloring my hair, and the results were not what I had wanted. I did not feel like she executed on the picture that I showed her. If they were not capable of doing what I wanted, I do wish they would have told me to rebook. The look that I ended up with was significantly more subtle than the picture that I had shown, and I can barely see the color. I don't know if I had miscommunicated what I wanted but I do think the pictures that I showed should have been clear. I tried to trust the process, and my hair stylist, but do think she took liberties about that I wanted without clarification. EDIT: They reached out and rescheduled my appointment and my new results are great! Great customer service! read more

I think I may have finally found my go-to salon! This morning, I called inquiring about appointment availability and was able to set a same-day appointment for a women's haircut. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Yaritza, who sat me in her chair and listened to my requests: I wanted to take some weight off my thick hair, and transition away from layers to a straight cut with rounded ends and a U-shape. I shared some reference photos, and Yaritza went to work! In less than an hour my hair was washed, cut, and blow dried! I am very happy with the result. I often have a hard time placing my trust into a new stylist with my Asian hair (as it is thick, straight and slippery), but I'm so glad I took a chance here. I'll be back! read more

This was my first time coming here and getting my hair done by Vanessa. I really enjoyed the experience. Hair Blush is run by Vanessa and her mother, and it's located amongst all these other tiny hair salons in the building (such a neat concept!). Just note, it is a bit hard to find Hair Blush amongst all the other salons at first, so plan accordingly. I got a partial balayage and am very pleased with the results! Vanessa suggested I only get a partial since I don't have much hair, and it came out great! I've gotten balayage done before and the technique is legit. I had been a frequent client here for over a year with mixed experiences having my hair colored. Overall I was not that happy with the services I received and feel that they were not listening to my concerns. The same thing kept happening and there was no effort made on their part to resolve the issue. When I insisted on a change the results were catastrophic and it was finally clear to me that they did not know what they are doing! Unfortunately, poor experience. I get a haircut once every 1.5 years so that I can donate my hair. But the hair stylist talked me out of short bob which is what I wanted and I ended up having another cut 3 weeks later at a different salon. She cut 4 inches when my intention was 8 inches. Granted I was gullible and asked for an opinion which swayed me. But other specifics were ignored too- I want light bangs- I got none; I wanted layers- got none. Wouldn't want to go again, but if I do will try a different stylist. read more

I got a groupon for myself for my birthday to Hair Blush salon. I booked my hair appointment through their easy to use online booking portal. I accidentally booked it with the wrong stylist (I failed to read the terms & conditions of the groupon, whoops!) so the owner texted me directly to tell me she had changed my stylist. I have been to many hair salons, some in Boston that I paid way too much money for, and I can easily say this is the best salon I have ever been to! I will be coming back to Hair Blush from here on out. I saw Kayla for blonde balayage on my very dark brown hair in addition to a haircut and a blowout. I have never been so happy or received so many compliments on my hair! In one session Kayla was able to get my hair to a beautiful sandy-bronde color. I showed up with 10 month old brassy balayage and Vanessa worked her magic to give me the hair of my dreams, lighter, brighter and blonder! The salon is located inside Sola Salon, a neat concept where each salon has their own studio space. I could see it being hard to find but because of Covid Vanessa had to meet me outside. The salon itself is modern and very clean. It's run by a lovely mother daughter duo who were both super sweet and easy to talk to. Overall a great experience! 10/10 would recommend! read more

I am wholeheartedly impressed with this salon. I had an appointment at 9:30 this morning with Sandra - who is the owner with her daughter (Vanessa) of the salon. They took me on time, and from the moment I walked in were super kind and welcoming. Sandra is from Brazil, and as a fellow Latina I truly love that! She and her daughter are really skilled and also have other employees who work there with them. I had gotten a haircut previously in New York City that was terribly done and Sandra did her best to fix it. My hair not only looks good but also feels healthy. I'm also extremely picky about where I go, and decided to take a risk with his previous place, which was OBVIOUSLY a huge mistake. I am a harsh critic in all honesty, but I'm so thankful that I found Hair blush salon, and particularly Sandra who used her expertise in fixing my hair. I also love that the salon is clean and modern, and that the person who picks up the phone to make the appointment is super sweet and polite. This salon genuinely stands out from other salons that I've ever been to. Also I saw a previous review about it being hard to find the salon, but I think that might have been at another location because this location was really straightforward and obvious the moment you drive into the parking lot. They have been at this location for the past 10 months, and it looks brand new. The door is SUPER heavy so don't get confused like I did and think that it's locked ha. They also follow COVID protocols which I love and appreciate. My wash, cut, and blow out came out for $58 before tip, in case that helps anyone else. Don't hesitate to check them out. This place CANNOT do curly hair and has very bad customer service. I went in for a deep condition and blowout. Paid $95 and came out more frizzy then when I went in. The stylist excuses this by saying it was my kinky curly hair. This is why she can't blow dry the root. By this logic no woman with curly hair will ever be able to get a straight blow dry. The owner heard that I was displeased as I was telling the stylist about the issues with the blowout and a couple comments she said. The owner completely ignored the incident. When I was paying- she came to take my card, call me "honey" and "sweetie" and that's it. No checking in on how I felt about the service or suggestions on how to do better. This is definitely not a place for latinas and/or people of color to get styling. read more
