Thank-you for being there for us. I was unaware that Great Clips was close to me. I normally go to expensive places and had to remember that there are other places I could go for a fraction of the cost. Great Clips has this excellent appointment setter on their website. It was so good that I should have waited until I was there. The soonest that they could get me in was like 10 minutes. There wasn't very many people there so I did not have to wait for very long. Another plus? They are open on Sunday! The person who cut my hair was a gem. I was uncertain of what kind of style would work for my hair...it's not as great as it used to be when I was younger. It turned out that she had the same issue and knew exactly what to do! Yes, I got layers in my fine hair and got the cutest hair cut that I have had in a very long time. To help explain my frustration, this is my first yelp review. So much inconsistency out of this salon. I had longer hair walking in and ask for a trim and to keep my sides longer to be proportionate to the top. Specifically asking for a 4 on the sides, but I walked away with a 2. Louis took the initiative to give me a new haircut and disregarded the length I specified for the entire haircut. She started to form it to a completely different style which I did not walk in wearing nor ask for. If you want a 4, best to ask for an 8 in hopes of getting a 4. read more

For starters the haircut is supposed to take 15 mins or so. This hair stylist was more concerned about his stories and telling about himself than he was cutting my hair. Had to ask him twice to cut more off the top and when he did he barely cut anything. For the big guy in the graffiti lookin clothing, no one cares. Paying $40-$60 for a haircut is always painful, especially when all you want is a trim! I found my solution, Great Clips! I went to the new spot on Broadway and I got in right away. The ladies and gentlemen were welcoming and interactive. Now I have to admit, if you are expecting the hand massage or the glass of champagne to get you through your hair pampering session, you will be disappointed. If you are just wanting those pesky split-ends cut NOW, then this is the place! Haircuts for women are typically $13.00 but I bumped into the opening sale and scored an awesome cut for $8.99. Yes, you heard me right! I got all of my hairs cut for $8.99!! This didn't include my hair being washed which I have to admit is the best part of the experience but let them know and for a little extra, alec-a-zander, hair washing! In the end I was very satisfied with my cut. I received a future coupon for a $5.99 trim too. Facilities were clean, the stylist were bubbly, and they had plenty of awesome hair product to buy. I will be back to see if there is consistency in my experience and my cut after the newness wears off. I've been bringing my kids here for several years and have had a consistently great experience with two hairstylists (Trish and McKenna). Each time someone else cut my kids' hairs it did not look that good. Last time we went, a new hairstylist cut one of the kid's hairs and it ended up looking ridiculous (visibly longer on one side). I had to bring my child back so they would fix his haircut which they did without any problems and we didn't have to wait. Next time I will make sure that my two favorite hairstylists are in before bringing my kids. read more

This place is a joke. Guy who works there is unbelievable! He takes an hour to cut someone's hair and on top of it all he stands there like at some bar and talks to the same client for 15 min. Waiting in line and no one even wants to check you in while people are booking online. Stay a way from this place. read more

Terrible place. Had to go back 3 times and still botched it up and I was heading out of state for a wedding. Got ahold of corporate headquarters and they said that the local shop where I received the so-called haircut would get ahold of me, that was over 3 weeks ago. That was a great haircut experience! Rolling through on the way home from a road trip and Crystal got my hair all dialed so my wife won't lock the door when I get home after ten days on the road. I'm still mourning the loss of my hair, the stylist confirmed we were just going to take off 1/2 an inch before we had started. 10 minutes later and I'm missing inches off of my hair. I have very curly hair that takes FOREVER to show any actual progress with length so I try to keep trims to the minimum necessary length. She wasn't friendly either and didn't seem to have any knowledge of cutting curls. She dry combed my hair,pulled roughly, and cut while the hair was stretched she just continued to chop without taking into account the curl shrinkage. After a wash and style on my own at home I was left with hair barely long enough to pull into a bun (required wear for my job) after it previously being below my shoulders I guess you get what you pay for I'll consider this a lesson learned read more

I live by this location and stopped in to get a number five on the clippers all over. I sat in the chair for 55 minutes. I've never sat in a chair getting the most basic hair cut for that long. My scalp is actually sore from the "stylist" going over and over and over and over and over it. After going over it then they decided to trim the entire thing with scissors. I've had this done before but it was 15 minutes total and a way way better job. I felt like I should have been paid for sitting there so long. Definitely won't be going back. read more
