I went here on my oldest sons birthday to get him looking fresh and the Asian lady completely messed up his hair I'll include pictures I was so furious told her she messed up and her response was "well you won't have to pay for it.." i literally cried from Draper to sandy havi n my sons apologize as if they did something wrong even when she didn't apologize saying "well he moved" mind you my child is autistic and has the tendency of moving but i was right there holding his head for her.. im so upset and the complete disregard of our feeling she completely had him looking a mess for a couple days until i got stg to get it looking 1/2 decent i don't live in the area its always a treat to head to town im a hard working single mom with two jobs and it's hard enough to get the time to treat my sons out.. oh shout out to the young lady who cut my toddlers hair she was nice and did an amazing job read more

This specific location has some of the worst costumer service and haircuts. I thought it was just my haircut but each time a family member or a friend goes they come back saying the same thing. Multiple people I know have gotten their hair cut by the redhead and have all said the same thing, she's rude, impatient, and doesn't care about what the customer ever wants. I gave her pictures of MY OWN head and she was being so rude saying she doesn't understand and she'll have to thin my whole head, which isn't true. Last minute haircut for my son and I couldn't be happier. My son is 3yrs old and has autism so a haircut typically isn't his favorite thing to do. The stylist was very sweet and patient with my son even though he fussed anytime she touched him the first few minutes. In the end I was very happy with his haircut and we will definitely be returning to this location. read more

When I came I asked for a layered cut. What I got was short uneven hair?? And she said if she made anymore layers it would look weird. I'm still looking for the layers.... I'm loving this Great Clips location a lot, and here's why: 1. I got my hair done here in 2011. I then moved to Boise for two years. I just moved back to the area from Boise and strolled in to be GREETED BY NAME by my former hair stylist who was still working there. Wow! Aujelle is the best! 2. I received an excellent haircut, (hard to do with me because I have Zoolander hair) 3. After my haircut, I got a coupon for an $8 haircut the next time, and a free Chapstick and some treats as a new client. Exceeds expectations! Come to this place and ask for Aujelle. read more

first of all if I check in online and it shows 0 minutes waiting time I shouldn't have to wait 20 minutes to get taken care of, then Kiana took her sweet time and a normal 7 minute haircut took 20+ minutes. I was on my lunch break and it took 45 minutes from time walking in to walking out. I won't go back to this location ever! read more

Too bad there are no zero stars... I have been going to this location for more than a year. I even bought a prepaid card with 6 haircuts around December because of the good haircuts I was getting. I got this girl (new) from last month. Now this time she left my hair uneven around the back and mostly on one side. I thought it was just a simple mistake, easy to fix so I went and specifically asked to get JUST that part fixed... big mistake... two people ended up "working" on my hair. The first one who tried to fix it (very nice girl) made it worse. Then the 2nd one (the most "experienced" one there supposedly) who tried to "fix" it couldn't do a decent job. See pics... This one just kept saying "we can't make your hair grow" (to make it sound in front of other customers as if I was asking for a miracle here) while I was being very polite and nice, all I said FROM THE BEGINNING is please don't go shorter on the crown just fix those areas (they don't listen or care they just want to move on to the next customer), you can see from the before picture I had hair in the crown area and it was at least blended, not sheared like a freaking goat now... My whole experience today left much to be desired. I checked-in online and received a text to leave home, appointment in 15 minutes. I waited 20 minutes after I got there. The stylist, Jeannet, evidently was new and not sure of herself. She wasn't even going to clean up around my ears until I asked if that could be done. On a guy, that is one big reason to get a hair cut, to get trimmed up. Last time I was in 6 weeks ago, I wore a face covering until I got into the chair. I'll skip this person next time, that is if I ever go in again!! read more

Have frequented this place multiple times to get my hair cut. I usually go in to get my sides buzzed as I am growing my hair out on top. It usually takes all of 5 minutes. Last time I went they charged me for a neck trim as my cut is so easy. This last time the manager said she would have to charge me 15 dollars for a full hair cut even though last time they charged me 6 dollars. I usually tip well and make it worth the barbers time. I will probably find a new place to get my hair cut after my last experience with the unfriendly manager. read more

Aujelle is da bomb!! My wife has naturally wavy hair, and I have a combo of Curly and wavy, so our hair is hard to cut. Aujelle has been able to make my wife happy every time she gets a hair cut. Me, I'm easy, but still like a good cut, which is what I get every time. read more

I've been coming to this location for a couple of years now and have had great service and great hair cuts consistently. They're busy but well staffed and move people through very quickly and I've never gotten a bad haircut. I usually get my cuts from Aujelle and would highly recommend her but I'm had great results from the other people there as well when she hasn't been available. read more

I feel badly for the stylists that have to work at this location. This place is so unorganized and unfriendly. The price is reasonable, but the customer service is terrible. I took my Mom to Great Clips on Bangerter Crossing for a pixie (short haircut). I showed the staff a picture in one of their books and told them she wanted that style, that length, cut it just like the picture. The girl who cut my Mom's hair seemed new and completely inexperienced. She had no idea what to do even though I placed the book right in front of her. She had another stylist come over who tried to tell her what to do. After 15 minutes, my Mom called me over. The girl had only cut half of the back right above the neck! After 15 minutes. She asked me how to cut my Mom's hair! I showed her the picture again and said, "just like that, that length!" After 30 minutes she had two other stylists come to consult and still hadn't cut much more than the back of the head by the neck and over one ear but nothing anywhere else! And, that she had cut was uneven and looked awful! I stopped her and asked why after 30 minutes she still hadn't finished the haircut. She just stared at me. Another stylist chimed in (who had gone over twice to try and help her before) and told me I was being "rude!" I replied that we were done, out of the chair and gone! I didn't pay for the 1/4 of a botched haircut, either. Someone's head is not a teaching moment at a salon! Leave that for beauty school! And, a place like Great Clips is supposed to feature 10-15 minute haircuts, if that! They don't even wash or dry the hair! I had to take my Mom to another salon who thankfully took her as a walk-in and they said they'd never seen such a botch job outside of beauty school! Send that "stylist" back to school to learn how to do a simple layered haircut in a timely manner! I will never take her there again and strongly advise anyone who values their appearance to do likewise! read more
