I have been there twice and both times my cut is a box cut that coast me over 130$ Not happy! will not be going back. I asked for texture. layers and showed the stylist a few pictures and I have nothing but a boring chopped hair cut that I have to grow out again! NOT HAPPY! And she spent her time cleaning. Today I saw Tish for the first time and am thrilled with the results! The cut and balayage Tish did for me is gorgeous! I brought in a picture of the length and color I wanted and Tish went over some extra details and showed me several other photos too. We landed on a color somewhere between what I brought in and what Tish showed me and it turned out fantastic! Very nice lady but didn't get at all what I asked for. 3 inches cut turned into 6 inches, and color is nothing what I asked for. The cut is blunt with no shape. The color is not vibrant and cost wayyy too much for being unhappy. $115. read more

Over the years, several of the ladies who work at this salon have done services for me, ranging from waxing to color. This review is long overdue, but Stephanie's kindness, upbeat personality, and drive to correct a horrible color that was done on me at the Paul Mitchell school earned the five-star rating. A few months ago, Stephanie did a deep conditioner on my damaged hair. I called in this morning to ask about color correction and was thrilled when I arrived that Stephanie would be taking care of me. It was nice to catch up on this missed time, but even nicer to know that someone I trusted would be fixing the awful color. What we fixed: I'd asked for a subtle strawberry blonde mix at Paul Mitchell. The result was super brassy and stripey, and the student working on my hair had completely missed all of my roots. How Stephanie fixed it: First of all, kept me calm and distracted the entire process. I was a bundle of nerves and had arrived at the salon with red-rimmed eyes. I lost track of how long the foils took to apply, but she was precise with each one of them, and for the roots she got right up to the base line. Though we ended up going much darker than my hair was before the Paul Mitchell disaster, it's such a huge improvement. Stephanie truly saved the day for me by giving me a fresh new look and just being so nice throughout everything. read more

This hair salon is absolutely amazing! The staff is so friendly from the first phone call I made to them to when I walked in the door. They offer water and soda while you are there as well. Now I must say this, I have been thru many hairstylists throughout my lifetime and Lauren is definitely the best hair colorist I have ever been too. She is so professional and will make magic happen! This is the first time I've gotten a styling from a salon like this, I usually go to the standard chain salons and I've never been too happy with the result. Marie and Co. will make you feel very welcome and comfortable, one of the first things they as if they can get you a drink, I've never been anywhere else that does that! I have been meaning to post a review about my experience, I booked a haircut appointment here. She was personable and everything, the salon was welcoming but as she was cutting my hair I had already told her I wanted some layers added, she seemed reluctant to add any additional layers to my hair, she didn't have any other people waiting and this would only take a few mins. I'm not sure why she didn't listen to my requests, I would have gladly paid more if needed for the additional time/service. I asked about three times and nothing came of it. All in all, it was a simple request that couldn't even be met. I ended up paying for a haircut that I didn't even like and tipped well as I don't like confrontation, and went right to great clips and they gave me the layers I had wanted for a fraction of the cost. read more

I recently moved here from MT and have been looking for a new stylist I could trust locally. Browsing Yelp I found this wonderful place! It was my first time here but I'm already in love. Everyone was so kind and easy to talk to. I was even offered a beverage on my way in. I had Stephanie give me a cut, a dark dye on the top,and a purple ombré bottom. The process was about 3+ hours but the whole time I never felt anything but welcome. I found Marie as I was browsing Yelp one day looking for salons that do scalp treatments. I had a regular guy I would go to in California and I have a hard time trusting people with my hair because I'm really particular about it. I called and was able to get in an appointment the same day with Marie. I really didn't know what to expect but when I got there Marie was really friendly, asked me general questions about my hair & was very knowledgable. I received the "signature service" which includes a scalp treatment, shampoo, cut, and brow wax for $59. I upgraded to the exfoliating scalp treatment for an additional $10. The scalp treatment was amazing! I was so relaxed and Marie gives an amazing scalp massage! As far as the cut, I told Marie that I just wanted a trim (I have really long hair & like to keep my length). She gave me advice as to how much she recommend I should cut but never made me feel obligated to. She took off only what needed to be taken off to make my hair look healthier & was really mindful that I did not want to take off a lot of the length. Throughout my service Marie sparked up some conversation but nothing too pressing. She is very professional & knows what she's doing. Not to mention, her prices are very reasonable. I had my hair colored. I just needed to cover my grey and have a trim. This cost me $80.00 plus $10.00 tip and my hair was hardly cut. I think the prices are way too high just to cover grey and hardly get a cut. read more

I had emailed to inquire about prices and an appointment for a haircut tomorrow. I received a response but I also wanted to have a look at the salon. I stopped by and Rachel was at the desk. The salon was clean and filled with natural light. Rachel was able to take me as a 'walk in'. I am from the Boston area and have gone to the same stylist for a number of year even as she changed salons and opened one of her own. We are in the Sandy/LCC area for the winter.
