My husband had his hair cut today as he came home with the haircut omg I was so shocked to see that uneven hair cut mark ..you guys can clearly see how worst is that haircut ..they really need to be well trained .. I think I have better haircut ability than them ..please I warn everyone don't you ever visit that salon ..he even got allergic reaction it clearly shows how unhygienic are they .. I went to her with fried ends and vibe that I wanted and she delivered! she was amazing at handling bigger hair and gave me beautiful layers that emphasized the big hair look I wanted while keeping as much length as possible! Two new hairstylists there - Sonthi, botched my sons haircut; she cut it higher above one ear than on the other side. Erin, came across with a bit of an attitude. And, she cut my sons hair a bit lopsided. We have been going here for over two years, to this location. Great Clips doesn't seem to have the best management, so we will find another company to go to. read more

I go to several Great Clips and although I prefer this location the service here is very poor. Walked in today - no one greeted meted me, asked if I registered online, etc. One stylist was working - two or three other stylists seemed to just be watching something else. I have recently moved to Keller and my husband and son went her on Sunday. Both got a great service and haircuts. Today I decided to give them a go and they didn't disappoint. I was sat down quickly since there was no one in store, alright. Stylist hands me a piece of paper detailing what type of haircut I'd had last time, a mullet that I'd got the sides cut short on. Told the stylist, Donald, I would like the same thing to a lesser degree, really just for him to cut a little off the sides and thin out the top. He grabs a razor and immediately shaves the back of my head down to a 3 for no apparent reason after I had explicitly said just a bit off the sides. I have family pictures coming up soon and just in time for them I now have without exaggeration the worst haircut I have had in years. There is a reason I do NOT frequent "Great" Clips, and it is experiences like this that cause that decision. To finish, he did not thin out the top at all, took maybe a half inch off the sides which was still not enough, and what he shaved off the back was uneven and looks patchy and is past saving. Thoroughly disappointed and upset to say the least as he seemed shocked at the idea that I didn't want anything taken off the back after I'd asked him what he was doing. This whole experience lasted maybe 12 minutes yet it managed to feel like eternity sitting in the chair seeing handfuls of hair being cut without explanation. Will NEVER be coming back. read more

My review is directly related to the online checkin process. On two occasions I've been bumped to the bottom of the list because of a mistake in their end. Each time I had to wait approximately 45 minutes when I should have been at the top of the list. While the staff admitted the mistake was on their end, they continue to have the same flaws in their system. The online check-in process is unreliable and needs improvement. You are loosing business because of it, including mine. read more

Worst haircut I've had in all my 58 years and my style is very easy to cut. Was so lopsided, I had to cut one side myself when I got home. Side burns weren't even close to being even either. At least presentable now. The Indian lady that cut it was way more interested in doing it in less than 15 minutes. She made it in 14. Will never go back. read more

Ehh, this is a pretty hit or miss place. I've had some decent haircuts and some awful ones too. I want to believe that I can get a nice hair cut so cheaply, but the few trips I've made here have been disappointing. First, one of the hair stylists was incredibly rude. When I took out the reference pictures, she got very annoyed and instead of helping me change it to fit my face, she went on about how they would all look terrible on me. I told her I wanted it short, but she kept on warning me about how short it would be. In the end, the cut didn't really look like what I wanted, but she just ushered my out as quickly as possible. Another time, the stylist was was trimming the area around my ears and it was getting a bit painful so I told her to stop. Later, my mom was looking at my ear and said that there was a bleeding cut. Anyways, you can roll the dice and see if you'll have any luck here. On the other hand, I'm done gambling with my hair and wellbeing. read more

I have no idea why I keep going back and acting like the outcome will be any different. My son received a bad haircut from this place. An older lady was the stylist, and supposedly the clippers malfunctioned. They overheated, thus she could not cut his hair properly which she told my son - but said nothing to the parents. Well, if that was the case, why not get another pair of clippers and fix it? Also, she should not have only told my son who is 8 years old. His father was attending our toddler in the waiting area so not directly supervising. It was her duty to inform the parent of a problem, not just let him pay and leave thinking everything was fine! I called the salon the next day and they said they would fix it of course. I will refuse to let that lady cut any member of my family's hair again. Overall, I've been going to Great Clips for years and generally not had any bad experiences. Their products are ridiculously marked up though. I bought a Curly Sexy Hair Curl Power Spray Foam (8.4 oz) for $18.50 then found it online at many retailers for $8! I will return it. I gave her a picture and it looks absolutely nothing like it!! All she did was chop it to a way shorter length than the picture!!! When I put my glasses back on, I was horrified to see the result! As she tried to explain her work, all I wanted was to get out of there! Did I tell her to fix it? Hell no!!! Why would I want her to touch it any more? Bottom line ... This place is always ill prepared for customers. Been here for 45 min and there is only 2 people working. It's the day before school starts for some and that's when 90% of the people go get haircuts so they look nice on the first day. If I could give zero stars I would. Told them "my son likes his hair long. He is growing it out. Just trim is up and texture his bangs." She proceeded to cut off 3 inches. Not just that, at the end there was a giant chunk in the back that looked like he had cut out himslef. I pointed it out and she proceeded to cut his hair even shorter. My husband took my daughter to get her haircut there last week. She gets a very simple cut - just straight across the back! When she came home, there were pieces sticking out there were 2 inches longer than the rest of the cut. A lot had been missed! I'm having to take her somewhere reputable now to get it evened up.
