    Kristen is amazing!!! I'm so happy that I've found her! I was searching for a hair stylist & I had seen the great reviews Kristen had. I contacted her thru Yelp, she didn't take long to respond, & I was booked. After the appointment, I was so ecstatic!She did an amazing job on my hair!! I have thick, wavy, frizzy hair so it's hard to find someone that can handle my hair. Kristen knows hair & she's an amazing hair stylist! I get compliments on my hair. We had done a blonde balayage & I've always received compliments regarding the color. Today, I saw her to do my color for fall and I love it!! I've gotten a lot of compliments on my hair. I'm so grateful that I've found Kristen, she's amazing!! I know there may be people afraid to give anyone a chance when it comes to our hair so look no further, for you have found her.

    Kristen is THE best with my curly hair! Recently, I decided I wanted to stop coloring my hair and go natural..... grey, ash and blonde.... Kristen knew just the color to pull through to blend all my colors together and I absolutely LOVE how she can manage my curls and frizz! She is VERY knowledgeable with product options and took the time to show me how to style my hair so it would curl just how I wanted it and control my frizz! THANK YOU!!!!!!

    Just had my hair done by Kristen, and I don't think I can say enough good things about her and how she did my hair. Im a stay at home mom of a toddler so the one thing I don't have alot of is time to myself. She was so fast and efficient and did my hair better than anyone has in the past. She took the time to look at all my pictures (to much time on pinterest) and listen to all my stories and came up with the exact cut and color I wanted. On top of this she's so nice and easy to talk to, it was like a "mini-vacation". I've already told all my sisters and sister in laws about her. I'm really looking forward to the next time I have to get my hair done.

You get one appointment a month for $10 less than the regular price, and get a discount on additional blowouts too and a few other perks. (There is also a Double Barfly which gives you two $10 discounted blowouts per month). I think I have had a different stylist each time I have been here, but they are all good. They ask questions about what you are wanting and you can select from a menu of styles. Free drinks and movies to watch also. Most of the time my hair looks good for nearly a week afterwards so it's been worth while. Easy to make appointments online (they have an app too, which I haven't tried yet, but intend to). You do have to provide a credit card for the cancelation policy but that is fair.

Instead it ended up taking over an hour and 30 minutes and I was almost late to my photo shoot. The hairdresser put so much product in my hair it didn't hold more than 2 hours! It looked awful. The blowout itself was terrible and she kept trying to fix it with a curling iron. I spent a ton of money and wasted my time when I could have made my hair look much better myself. I had to wash my hair after 2 hours and redo it myself for another event I had that night. Thankfully I got my money refunded, but I would still never go back. The hairdressers are so inexperienced.

    Bad experience and would not go back. Here is why…read more I had scheduled a time/day to get my hair cut. The stylist took 6 hours (no exaggeration) to do my hair. It got to the point where it was 10:00 p.m. and I just had to leave. I couldn't take it any more. She didn't even finish my hair all the way and she made me very uncomfortable. It wasn't until the next day that I realized just how bad my hair really was. My roots were not even touched and my hair was very uneven. To say that this was the worst haircut/dye that I have ever received, is an understatement. So naturally, I decided to go back to the salon and just ask them to fix it. I didn't make a big deal about it at all and I would have been fine just getting it fixed. Upon entering the salon the following day, I spoke with Jeff and explained my situation and how I requested to have my hair fixed. Jeff then proceeded to tell me that I would have to pay for another appointment...I politely explained the situation again and requested that my roots just be touched up and my uneven hair trimmed. Jeff stated he would have to speak to his supervisor (maybe, the owner?), Melissa and I would be contacted. Was I contacted? Nope. In fact multiple times I had to follow up and send multiple pictures to finally get another appointment scheduled. Luckily, when I came in and got my hair fixed, a new stylist fixed my hair and I was pleasantly relieved. It should be reiterated that no one including the supervisor, Melissa, the owner, or anyone ever contacted me to apologize including when I came back in person to get my hair fixed. In addition, I should also point out that whenever a stylist leaves the salon, the company sends out emails, and at times will explain why the stylist left. For one particular stylist, the email stated, "XXXX has left Willow Sage Salon on unfortunate terms. Her conduct has not been in line with our values, and we cannot continue working with her." In my opinion, this is unprofessional and these type of things should be kept in house. There is no need to air dirty laundry out to the public. By doing this, it doesn't reflect positively on the business and raises questions about the company and business practices. To summarize, all of this could have been easily avoided and I wouldn't have posted a review if better customer service would have been implemented. The owner or supervisor-anyone should have contacted me, apologized and resolved the problem immediately by booking another appointment. I shouldn't have had to continue to follow up multiple times etc. I will never go back. Do not recommend.
