I've come here for several years. The quality is usually good. Recently tip options were updated to 24%; 40% and 48% - feels excessive.

I logged into the app and checked in for a haircut. It said it would be a 45 minute wait an hour later. It said it would be an hour and 20 minute wait 45 minutes after that it said it was gonna be a 30 minute wait so I went to the store When I arrived. It said zero minutes waiting remaining. I checked in and they said they'd be right with me after sitting and waiting for 35 minutes while only one of the three people working were cutting hair. I told him to go ahead and take me off the list. The environment seems to be very complacent and the employees seem to care a little about their jobs or making tips. I would highly recommend going anywhere else if timing matters at all to you. read more

I would say you get what you pay for, but the hack job my son got looks like it was done by a raccoon with scissors while it was having a seizure. It was NOT worth the price of admission, even if it had been free. I get that GC is a bargain, assembly line salon (we went there due to timing), but that does not excuse outright incompetence or ineptitude. Ally my sweet boy needed was a trim. Boyfriend came here last week and got a decent cut for $14. He thought that was a bit much for a trim but he was in and out quickly. He said he had to ask for it to be evened out a few times and although I see that as a negative, he liked it that the stylist kept checking with him and asked him if he liked it (which is when he would give further instruction) Brought my son here this morning for a cut for his yearbook photo because but this is pretty much the only place open on a Sunday and he was in and out in 30 minutes. The cut was $14 + tip and he was ok with it until I pointed out how uneven and crooked it is. It is driving him crazy now and I feel sorry for him with yearbook photos and all. Took my 4 yr old to get a "little boy" haircut like we do every few months. Last time we went here was great; today was AWFUL. The stylist didn't introduce herself, wasn't listening to my requests, asked me to hold his head still, and gave him a terribly uneven haircut. The cleanup around his ears are jagged lines and the back too ended up like an inch longer than the rest of his hair. If you're not schooled in ethnic hair why wouldn't you turn someone away that has ethnic hair? Why would you cut their hair and let them leave looking like the posted pictures below. I'll add what we asked for for reference. By the way- I did not take my son to you all, my dad who knows no better did. If you can't do a bald fade why would you try? I wouldn't even be mad had you told him you weren't educated in these kinds of cuts and he asked you to do it anyways. Next time he knows... wow. I'm very pleased with my first experience at this facility. The staff was friendly, the service was quick & it was a very clean place all around. I took my 5 year old & almost 2 year old boys to get their haircuts today. I haven't been happy with the place we had previously taken them. So, I gave Great Clips a chance! Score!!!!! First of all, as a mother, I would like to point out that they had toys for kids in the waiting room! A concept many salons do not seem to grasp. Thank you! :) The prices were unbeatable. We were lucky enough to be given a coupon from the gentleman who was on his way out. He gave us the coupon for half off a haircut! So nice. I love genuine people. So, with that coupon we paid $13 for two kids haircuts. We left a generous tip for both stylists for honoring the coupon. We were then given another coupon for half off their next haircut! Really? The employees lauren, cassie and liz really created a clean and friendly environment, the stylist lauren has been cutting my hair for almost a year and each time just does it perfectly! And the other employees cassie and liz went out of their way to be nice and say "hello, and nice to see you again, have a great day", even though i did not choose them to cut my hair. I feel like when i come to this establishment im not just getting a hair cut,it feels like visiting friends which is nice and helps my anxiety relax in a public setting where i feel comfortable, and even though it was slow it was nice to see a shop where the girl stay busy, not just sit around. the cleaning was great and the shop looked very nice. My son has been getting his haircut at this location since he was old enough to have his haircut. We have had several stylists cut his hair over the past few years and I have never left unsatisfied. The information regarding your previous haircut is in their computer system so I don't have to try and remember which number they used to cut his hair. Amanda has been our stylist the last few times. She does a really great job. We will continue to request her from now on. The only issue I have is that a child's haircut is $12.00. I've never been to another Great Clips, but have never had a bad experience here. I've had my hair cut here by Lauren and Jaycee. Both of them do a great job and are good at listening to what you want done. Lauren cut my very tender headed, fidgety 5 year old daughter's hair today and my daughter didn't even say ouch once. This is saying a lot since she screams and cries every morning as we try to comb her hair. Ask for Lauren or Jaycee and be sure to tip them well! read more

I've have given this store my patronage once in the past with dismal results. The haircut was mediocre and the staff rude. I went there again because I needed a haircut quickly and this place was the only thing available. I was pleasantly surprised. The stylist was warm and friendly. The haircut was excellent and she threw in a free beard trimming because I had recently injured my arm and she noted the bandages. I will definitely get a haircut cut here when I'm in Lodi. They said they were going to take notes. Didn't. Told me to take pics so they would know what to do next time. I did. Took 2 angles from the top and one from the side. Girl this time said she couldn't tell the cut from pic, asked her to follow the lines and taper my cut, gave me a bowl cut. I showed pic again and asked how is this different from going off a book?
