I wear glasses so couldn't see a thing during the cut. 15 minutes later, she brought out a mirror, let me put on my glasses, and there are multiple clear BALD spots on the back of my head. I confronted her about it, she first denies it. I then take a picture and confronted her with the picture, she has the balls to say it's because of the way hair grows. I told her this is ridiculous, she just said, what do you want me to do then. If you ever consider a cut here, spend the money in a CVS for a pair of scissors and cut it yourself - and that's for sure gonna be better that what's she's gonna do to your hair.

That price includes her washing your hair afterward which my car has been very thankful for, and the gel which only seems to make me more self-conscious. It's usually not too busy, but she does accept appointments. Otherwise, you could visit Han Kabob, Map of Thailand, or Koko Bakery next door while waiting. She is efficient, but does take the time to do it right and make sure you're happy. During which, expect to engage in a conversation about her life (which really is quite interesting) and listen to her lament that the referral of customers from her establishment to the restaurants nearby is only one-way. Everything about the experience was great. My stylist, Kiki, did an amazing job on my hair and beard which had not been touched in six months. My stylist (wish I had gotten her name) was very sweet and did a great job curling my hair and pinning it in a lovely updo. When she was done, I wasn't sure how it would hold up in the rain for what ended up being a 10-hour wedding day, but it held up surprisingly well. I had multiple people come up to me during the wedding to say they loved my hair. It didn't end up being that much cheaper than going to a regular salon (I think I paid around $60 for my medium-length hair), but for the convenience, I felt like it was worth it. I did deduct one star because even though I made a reservation and rushed to show up on time, it did take them a good half hour to get to me.
