Company has so much gouging on pricing I would recommend going somewhere else. Price is ridiculous. Even compared to other GC locations.

This vendor is great if all you want is a wash, or a man's/short hair cut/buzz. But they can't handle long, thick hair. They started charging me the 'updo' price after a while when I would get my hair styled. Then when I had signed in one day and arrived as the next in line, they said they had to get through all the men, which were after me in the check in app or walk-ins, and asked that I come in 1.5 hours later when another stylist would come on. So, because I needed the style done, I did. It is late Spring as I post this, and my hair gets sweaty. As I waited for them to finish, I was supposed to be first in line, I heard the stylists talking amongst themselves. They were complaining that this was my second visit this week. Then, when one stylist got done with her current client-she called another-and it wasn't me. I had to wait for the next one. Overall, the staff seems very friendly and the atmosphere is comfortable. Bit if you give them a job that takes more than 20 minutes, they mention you in meetings, raise your rate, put you off for an hour plus, then try to avoid being the one to get you. My hair is long, midway down my back, thick, and takes about an hour from wash to finish flat ironing. I always tip at least $20.00. read more

I went to Shawnee yesterday and stopped in with a picture to get a haircut. It is the worst cut I have ever had, my head is literally shaved with 2 bald spots in the back. It is so short it won't even spike. It looks like a high and tight on an old 75 year old woman. I'm so ashamed I can't leave my home without a hat or a wig. read more

The quality of the haircut is always questionable at best. I would recommend finding good hair stylist and finding a way to keep them.

I visited the Quail Springs Mall location and asked for Brooke to help me with my haircut. She did everything and even more than everything that I requested which was very impressive. The style is perfect and my hair lays in position exactly that I had hoped without sticking up in the back area. Brooke is extremely knowledgeable, great personality, and outstanding service. Used the Quail Springs salon on 142nd and Penn this week for a much needed hair cut. I did not know any of the stylists in the salon, but ended up with Brittany. I was well pleased my my cut--she was professional, efficient, and skilled with her tools. I waited 15 minutes to be helped which would normally not be an issue but there were two hairdressers, one occupied with a client and the other standing at the counter dazing off into the sky, and two clients: myself and the one being helped. Anyways on to the actual haircut, I have a mullet and was just wanting a light trim to freshen up the edges though the back of my head grows hair far quicker than the top so I mentioned I was alright with 1/2-1 inch off of the back but no more than a half inch off the top/bangs. She proceeded to start with the top and immediately cut more than a full inch right off the bat before I could even say anything to stop her. She took about the same length off the back, not more as i requested. From then on I just wanted it to be over as soon as possible as the damage was already done and upon examining it at home I'm realizing the back isnt even remotely even and there are random chunks that stick out and it is unevenly layered if you can even call it that. She was also just acting a bit strange as the hairdresser to "help" me was the one who was staring off into the distance waiting on the other worker to finish for whatever reason before deciding to help me, I believe she was likely intoxicated on some level. TLDR: Simply did not do what was requested, cut off more where I wanted less and vice versa, cut just looks plain bad and unprofessional. I can't believe I had to pay for them to make me look like this. read more

Online check in and it tells you if you have to wait or not. Modern, clean, efficient building and stylists are nice and accommodating. They keep your shag preference on the computer so if you want it like last time......no problem. I've never encountered anyone not dressed professionally or smelling like ciggy smoke (pet peeves for me). They always are able to do my eleven year olds fade, shaved hair part, stylish do so that's a bonus. The only downsides that may deter some customers: high stylist turnover, this is not your one stylist for life type of place, cost is a bit high $15+ for an adult cut. Theft often have coupons and almost half price deals if you pay attention to their advertising. I'd like their app or store to allow me to have texts sent notifying me when my three week time period between cuts has almost expired........ read more

Was new customer and checked in online. Took my 3 children and there were two salon girls there. Norma and bin. Bin was awesome with my little girl and my youngest. She was very sweet. Norma, however, was very rude and kept making disgusted faces towards my family. My husband and I were thinking of getting our hair cuts too but ended up leaving. We were very upset with how she was acting. She also kept making comments how no one was leaving her good tips. Very disappointed with her service. We walked into great clips and the lady said did you check in online and I said no I didn't know you had to check in online she said yes there are five people ahead of you it'll be longer than 30 minutes I said OK thank you. As we were leaving she said "should've checked in online!!" Very very rudely! The card I got in the mail from great clips did not say anything about having to check in online it said you could. Very rude young lady, if you don't like your job and don't want to be there find a different profession! I have never heard of a place where you had to check in and make an appointment online! Took my 90-year old mom there to get her hair cut. I told her that she shouldn't wash her hair since we would have them wash, cut, and dry. I checked in online and drove over and there were two other customers waiting (men) but she was taken ahead of them because we checked in online. I didn't go back with her but apparently the hairdresser just sprayed her hair with water and then cut it. Why wouldn't she take the time to ask and make more money for the company. Not going back.
