A few weeks later, I returned to the salon with my middle daughter. Her blow dry & silkening process had our hair bouncing for days, even in the heat and humidity (neither one of us has a relaxer). Ashieka has been running some AMAZING specials to highlight her return to the salon. I strongly suggest checking them out. I managed to snag a FREE sew in and I've been getting a ton of compliments. Friday I went into Smart Style in Olympia Fields, IL for blonde highlights to be touched up on my…read moreroots. The stylist asked me did I want bleach or color. I informed her that I wanted bleach. The stylist, Mahogany, colored my hair and it turned green. I have never had any other color other than the blonde highlights from a previous stylist so my hair should not have turned green. When my hair turned green she asked me if I was available later that day so that another stylist could correct the coloring that she did. I informed her that I was available and went into the salon a couple hours later. The other stylist, Marquita, attempted to color correct my hair. However my end result was a reddish color. The stylist called her manger and I let the manager know that I was unsatisfied with my service. The manager (Kat) was not professional with her responses. She simply waived my service fee and asked in a rude manner " what else you want me to do". My hair is brassy red orange at the roots with blonde on the ends. My hair is damaged. I now have to have my hair color corrected which is going to cost me $200. Although my fee was waived this is unacceptable. I am in sales and marketing and my appearance is is a representation of the company that I sale on behalf of. I need my hair corrected... Do you have a master stylist that can color correct my hair or take it back to its original state? If you do not I am seeking compensation for the cost of color correction. The cost that I would have to pay out of pocket should not come from me. Your salon came highly recommended and I hate that my experience wasn't that of the one who referred me.
