Very happy and impressed that I found this place! I'm very picky with where I go.. I never do anything too exciting with my hair so price factors in. Prices here are fantastic. $16 for a cut/trim is all you need to pay realistically.. haven't tried a color yet, but I have good feelings. Ronie was great! My biggest salon pet peeve. Your loyalty for using the same stylist is that they decide at some point to jack up your fees. (and I'm talking over a period of 6 months, not years.) Same service, no rationale other than they think that you'll continue to see them after screwing you on the price. The whole point of me going to this salon was that I thought they did good work at a fair price. My root touch up went from $46 three weeks ago and which I had been paying previously, to yesterday's touch up with the same styist (Kayla) which was $60. A 30% increase from about 3 weeks ago. That's fine, but it's a one and done. She'll now be getting 100% of nothing. read more

The place I had to go get it fixed at said the girl at Hairspot "did a number" on me... I don't know much about hair. This was the single worst haircut I ever had. I walked in the store and 3 employees were sitting in chairs talking to each other and seemed irritated that I was interrupting their conversation. The person cutting my hair never washed my hair, blow dry or used any product. I was in and out in less than 15 Minutes. Everyday I struggle putting my hair together because most of it is uneven, the hair in the back won't lay flat because it is half the length of the rest. The woman cutting my hair spent the 10 Minutes cutting my hair talking to the other two sitting there. She never asked any questions beside : how you want it cut? Worst place, worst service and worst haircut. Will never go back and make sure I tell anyone I know to avoid this place! read more

I have been going here since 2005, when I moved to Frankfort. I think Aila was the girl that did my hair, she is no longer there. Ali does it now, she is wonderful. I now live in Grundy County, about 50 miles 1 way just for a haircut and style by Ali. Everyone there is very nice, friendly and professional. They all do a great job. read more

I was desperate for a decent hair cut and had Christie cut my hair. It was fabulous. I have been going there ever since. Due to an operation then Covid 19 I wasn't able to go for 7 months and the cut was so great that even 7 months of growth didn't affect it. Prices are extremely reasonable and they also sell some products at a reasonable price. I highly recommend Christie. read more

I just got home from getting my hair colored to find that the stylist didn't even attempt to remove the 2 inch band of dye that was on my forehead and sides of face. I didn't notice this because my bangs cover my forehead. I can't believe I went to the store looking like this. I called and they said they have a product to remove the dye from my skin and it should have been used. They said I could come back and they would remove it. Not wanting to drive 30 minutes for this, I removed it with dish detergent. Beware of pricing. I was charged $15 extra just to blow dry my hair. No cut or curling iron. The price I was charged was the same as if I got a color, cut and style. I also had my eyebrows waxed and they did a HORRIFIC JOB. My eyebrows don't even match. They removed way too much brown and they left them pencil thin and uneven. Stay away from this shop unless you like looking like a clown. read more

You advertise that you're a down-to-earth, comfortable, friendly salon...Yesterday I took my two year old son for a haircut and experienced rudeness and unfriendliness from start to finish. We were greeted by our stylist Kayla who was actually frowning and us feel like we when bothering her by being there. During the haircut my child was crying and upset (like MOST) 2 years do and we were told the haircut we wanted couldn't be finished! So we had to leave with a haircut we didn't want. When we pointed out that the haircut was uneven another stylist sitting next to us in her chair rudely said "Oh, well she's not a magician." Completely inappropriate comment! All we wanted was a haircut for my 2 yr old son and we were made to feel like we were an inconvenience! I guess they didn't cover giving haircuts to small children in beauty school! So based off my experience, I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND ANYONE WITH SMALL CHILDREN TO VISIT THIS SALON!! CLEARLY, ITS NOT CHILD FRIENDLY! read more

This is the worst hair cut I've ever gotten. And when I went back in they still could not get it right. I'm now left with a lop-sided hair cut and will have to wait until it grows out. They can;t follow simple instructions for a basic trim with no layering. Just kept chopping away at my hair. And they call themselves professionals. Such a frustrating experience.
