Honestly extremely disappointed in the haircut my son received yesterday. At the point I can't trust this place to cut his hair anymore. This isn't the first time his hair didn't meet the standard he asked for from this location but this is definitely the first time it's been so BADLY chopped and I had to PAY SOMEONE ELSE to fix it so he wasn't upset and embarrassed. My 10 year old has a promotion this upcoming week and needed a nicely done haircut so he could look his best. What he got is inexcusable. My husband and son both received haircuts yesterday. Corina, the name at the station, was the hairdresser for my son. He shouldn't have to be the one explaining to an adult what's wrong with his hair, especially as a shy kid. It wasn't a STYLE problem. Look at the photos yourself. It was uneven, chopped, dug into further on one side and was absolutely below any type of standard . He didn't move at all during his haircut so what happened? Honestly, it's dug too deep on one side - Didn't even try to level it out? Nor did you match his sides at all on any spectrum. It's not even cleaned up on the side, looks like you took clippers to it and did terrible overall. His front of his hair was rainbow shaped- like a curve. Bangs also Choppy uneven cut. My son came in with pretty long hair on top to work with, and his sides. Why did he leave this way? That's ridiculous. The back had a clear line through it as well. Not sure why this was acceptable on any standard from a stylist. I had to go to a different place today to get my son's hair fixed because of how badly it was done. His hair was wet when he left, so the immediate terrible haircut wasn't obvious until it dried. I am so upset at this location and how I can't even trust them to cut my son's hair. He will not be returning and honestly deserves a refund for the hack job. read more

I went on a day the "Store manager" was in. I walked in and staff was very nice and polite. I went to the restroom and came back to the store manager telling me she is ready for my haircut. Conversation was good and nice. I wanted to try a new vibe and was very excited but I told her and she kinda told me I was crazy, I brushed it off but once we she pour water on my hair, I was poured. It would have been better if I went to take a shower didn't dry my hair and went to get a haircut, then my haircut isn't even straight my left is higher than my right not by an inch by a whole ass foot. Then laughs u are all done didn't blow dry my hair, no I walked out with water dripping on my clothes and my pouring on my car seat, she did the same thing to my kids with being really fast which is great but there haircut comes out all messed up like a blind person coulda done better. I normally do not write reviews whether good or bad. But it took special urge to write this. I was vey disappointed with a rude and uncooperative hair stylist Manuela and obviously the manager. She would not cut to my specifications for I wanted a scissor cut and 1" trim all around She stated her fingers are too big to cut it any further than half an inch. She did not trim the sideburns or behind the ears and the neck and told it was done and to sit in in the lobby if I want it cut further if I am pleased to get it done by another stylist. She collected the $20 dollars and did not offer a receipt. I have been going for more than 15 years. Will find a different place next time. The place still owes a "haircut" for an incomplete job. read more

The regretful this is that I went here to cut my hair, which made me looks weird and so upset.Never come back.

I washed my hair at home. Blow dried it and straighten to come here. Why you ask? Well from my last experience going to my previous salon, they cut it choppy since my hair is long so I told myself I would straighten it the next I go cut my hair. Once stylist was done, no hair drying was attempted! I chose great clips cuz it was by my house. No wait time. Got sat down and I asked for layers. 3 stars because they were nice inside. Stylist began to wet my hair, I'm thinking it's okay it okay they will dry it afterwards. Haircut: so I wasn't sure how short I wanted but I wanted it to be around my chest with layers since I like it long but not really long. She referenced her hair and I said a bit longer. Results: it really looked like she knew she was doing when doing the layers. She told me it was $16 and I paid. I honestly thought they would at least dry my hair after spraying all that water! I came in dry I should leave dry? I was running errands afterwards looking like I just stepped out of the shower. I straighten my hair the next day and a week has gone by and it's still doesn't look right. Layers are so short looks like I have a bob and a wig underneath and the ends look all choppy. Price was cheap tho. But I would suggest to tell them to cut off inch by inch first to start off how short you want. That was my mistake. read more

This morning was my 3rd haircut with Great Clips in C.C. & my last. Everything was fine until it came time to pay. 1st, in conversation while getting my haircut, the young lady cutting my hair was describing how busy they had been since opening. No shortage of paying customers by any means & there several other customers either in a chair &/or waiting. As I stepped up to the counter to pay, with cash, with a $100 bill, the young lady informed me they couldn't accept $100 bills & I didn't have any other means of paying, i.e. debit/credit card. I told her just give me $70 as I was going to give her an $8 tip on top of my $22 cut, which she was still unable to accomodate. When I asked how we were going to settle the matter, she suggested I go to the business next door to ask if they could change my $100 bill. Why do I have to inconvenience another business & potentially have to make an unwanted purchase of an item simply to accomodate Great Clips inability/unwillingness to make change? In complete frustration I purchased a gatorade from the bagel shop next door. I returned to Great Clips where I placed $27 on the counter & walked out. And no, they're were NO signs indicating they were unable to accept $100 bills. I find this completely unacceptable & unprofessional at every level. Just what if I refused to "change shop?" I should've demanded Great Clips shop around or just left & obviously returned at a later date when it was more conveneient for me, the customer. Signed, zero star irritated customer... read more

Came in to get a bad cut fixed. The new cut is good. She didn't have much to work with since I came in with a mess. Asked for my hair to be blow dried straight, was totally willing to pay for styling. She half dried my hair then said she was done. My hair is still wet and now frizzy. Now I get to go home and finish my hair. Still on the hunt for a good hairstylist in Riverside. They did a great job on my son and daughter's hair. Convenient haircuts at a decent price. Tell them exactly what you want, and most of the time, you will get what you asked for. My son has been unhappy a couple of times, but we return because most of the times he is happy if we are clear enough. The staff is friendly enough considering the price. Sometimes we sign up with the app, get there on time, and have to wait an additional 30-45 minutes, sometimes in the sun, since due to Covid regulations, some chairs must be outside, I guess. This is inconvenient, but covid regulations and sunshine in your eyes are not their fault. 3.5 stars. read more
