This was the worst experience of my life. I cannot stop crying. I went in for a TRIM and long layers. I left with my hair up to my shoulders. When i discussed how short my hair would be when if we cut only the dead ends and it was to the middle of my back. When I left it was to my shoulders with the worst most uneven choppy layers I've ever seen. I am not one to complain so I just said it was fine paid and left. Do not waste your time coming here unless you want to have the complete opposite of what you asked for. I have never had a worse experience getting a simple trim. read more

The Good and Bad about this GC. The good is the on line check-in, no time wasted waiting. The not so good, never see the same employee twice. The Bad, the hair I got, way shorter than I requested, chopped and ridges on the sides. And for some reason they just decide how long your sideburns should end. OMG Joseph was the BEST! Our toddler has never been able to get a good haircut because he hates haircuts, cries the entire time and it always comes out terribly. Joseph was wonderful. Got our little guy comfortable first, was fun and friendly, found him a green ballon (his favorite color) and was calm and patient. For the first time our son did not need to sit on our lap to get his haircut. Then he let our son touch all the clipper and tools before using anything. I walked in and the wait line was 75 min. They told me to check in on-line. It said to wait til I receive a text and that I had 15 minutes to arrive once I got the text. I arrived and they told me I was no longer on the list but they could add me to the bottom of the current wait list (33 minutes). I told them that didn't make sense and showed them the text message. They said that after 60 minutes the system removes you from the list! Then why would they even put me on a 75 min waitlist and why would I still get a text to come in if I'm no longer on the list. The staff/manager apologized but said there was nothing he could do. What a waste of time. The $10 haircut isn't worth the wait or the headache of dealing with a broken system and uncompassionate people. Never going back there again. read more

Today I found out my regular haircutter Sabrina is no longer here. I person with no personality by the name of Yourga attempted to cut my hair. It took her less than 5 minutes to say she was done. This was the worst haircut I have ever had. She doesn't listen to what the client wants she just says yes, ok and proceeds to do her thing. I will not be going back to Great Clips again. read more

Started going there as soon as this location opened.There are a few times that when I got there after checking in online in advance and given a short wait time 10-15 minutes, that when I got there several customers whose names were not on the list got served first .I don't know why this happens , since other Great clips always have everyone checked in . I thought that's how they calculate the amount of business they do for staffing and revenue purposes. After the last time I waiting my turn for an hour , even though my name was first on the list . I went in to get my hair trimmed, the stylist walked away twice, came back grabbed nearly all of my hair at once and cut 7+ inches off. Clearly she didn't listen when I said leave it long. She ran a comb through my hair, didn't try to style it and walked away to the register to have me pay. I sobbed the whole car ride home. It's been about a month now and my self esteem still hasn't recovered. My hair looks hideous and I have no idea how to style it. I would put it in a hair tie except I don't have enough hair for that. I've spent so much money on supplements, shampoos and conditioners trying to help it grow faster. I've never been so angry and hurt in all my life. That woman should be fired. Can never get the same haircut twice. The alleged notes they keep consist of whether they use a scissors or a clipper, with no other details! I agree with another reviewer: the checkin list is worthless. I was on the list and waiting for the next available "stylist" (I use that term loosely), and a walk-in who arrived after me was taken before me! Once, when I went in, the "stylist" did not listen to ANYTHING I requested. Because of past poor experiences, I made it super easy: buzz my entire head with a 3/4" comb on the clipper. She proceeded to buzz my top shorter and the back and sides even SHORTER. When I went in the next day to make management aware of my experience, she was not there so I left a message for her to call me, which I was promised she would. Instead of a call, which i never received, I was placed on their blacklist and was refused service after having to spend 3 months growing my hair back out! NEVER AGAIN! read more

I love the hair cut I get every time I go to great clips. The stylist is awesome. BUT there is no receptionist there and it is a very busy location. She Had to walk away from me 4 times and answer the phone 3 times while she was cutting my hair ! That is wrong . If you paid a front desk person , they could do more haircuts and also pay attention to the customer they have in the chair . I could not be more impressed with how this Great Clips handled their first day back after being allowed to re-open. Other reviewers think they are the only person wanting a haircut the first week back, even resorting to name calling the woman at the door who was inundated with questions, calls etc. and who was friendly to me and other people in my presence. My experience ran incredibly smoothly as follows: 1. I checked in online at 9:20AM (good strategy on Monday) and had a 2 1/2 hour wait, not unusual the first day back. Left my number on-line and exactly 2 1/2 hours later I was called to come on in in next few minutes; even got my favorite operator Trisha 2. No customers can wait inside; thank you for protecting our health 3. Station is disinfected between customers; again protecting our health 4. New Aprons for each customer; again protecting our health 5. Customers and operators MUST wear a mask; thanks for protecting us 6. Best haircut for the money in all of Stuart with friendly operators. With the required distancing, there are only 2 operators at a time, so the owner is hardly making any money. The operators have time consuming disinfecting between customers, meaning less tips as well. No one should complain; they are providing our community a real service now in a very difficult environment now. The owner of this and a few other Great Clips did this 100% correctly; thank you. We need your business in Stuart and we all missed you. The complainer here in her review in thinking only about yourself forgot that this business is inundated with appointment requests. Had you planned better strategy and listened to the online instructions you would have had no reason to moan. I love you Great Clips, Keep Up the Good work! read more

Great clips more like trash clips. this fat freaking lady messed up my hair so badly. it's so short and ugly and the lady was mean. she said she didn't even want to cut my hair and that's when i should've left. but i figured she wouldn't do a bad job.
