Been a loyal customer for over a year. Came in and ready to sit down and went to place my glasses on the desk in front of the stylist. She got very upset and said nothing goes on my desk. I said I've done this every time I've come to any place to get my hair cut. She said not at my place. Got my yearly haircut yesterday and I'm so very with it. I ve worn my hair the same way most of my life ye5 I felt a little adventurous so I asked for a short hairstyle, she asked questions got to know me and gave me a beautiful cut and style. I came to great clips optimistic that they weren't as bad as the reviews I've heard. Let me tell you, I was wrong. Growing up I would get affirmation from my mom that my haircut was nice; it was always a buzz. She laughed at me when I got lunch with her directly afterwards. My barber, although she was very sweet, didn't know what a fade was when I asked for her to fade my hair, as the picture I showed her from one of my previous cuts before was like. I cut hair for fun, mainly my friends, and do fades but I've never done myself because I'm scared of the lineups. If I were to do my own I would've been so much more content (which I went home and did in fact live up to my hype when I got out my clippers). If you're going for a gas station worker, this haircut would be for you. If you work any other job, I highly recommend you to stay as far away from Great clips. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. First off, the lady who cut my hair looked very unprofessional in PAJAMA pants. Second, the minute she touched my hair I knew it was going to be a bad experience. She RIPPED the comb through my hair (I have fine hair and it gets tangled easily) I almost got out of the chair at this moment. Last but no least, the cut is terrible! 1st time...both women were rude. My hair was so uneven it was pathetic. 2nd time (i posted pics of the job done by one of the same women from last time) rude again. Other woman had to tell her to blend in the sides and thank god because it looked HORRIBLE! Then i seen her elbow my son in his head after reaching for something on the counter, which yes was an accident but she did NOT even apologize to him. Also the hair of the kid she cut before my son was angled the exact same way in the back. The woman who should have been the one to do my sons hair seemed to be avoiding doing my sons hair by "looking" busy. Swept not only HER area but other areas up and went to bathroom etc etc until this rude unprofessional inexperienced woman who i believed was named jennifer was ready for another head of hair to butcher. Then the woman who was busy was ready for her next customer. I will NEVER go back there. I dont know how they're still open. read more

Lot's of attitude. One stylist staring down the other and rolling her eyes at her as she takes care of a customer. She pretty much did what she wanted with my hair, nothing how I wanted, and pretty much told me she was doing it her way. Now my hair looks like garbage. The stylist that did my young daughter's hair was very impatient and was packing heavy attitude as well. Both talked to me like I was a complete idiot. 5-21-14. 8 PM. Woman with attitude checked me in and trash talked me for the first minute of my visit. I actually turned around and left. I have visited this location several times and it is a very nice place with great hours and fair prices! The girls from Elkhorn that were working the store when it opened should train the new hires for this store. Doubt I'll be back. read more
