The basic puppy classes focus on socialization, simple commands, leash walking, etc. Both of my dogs enjoyed the classes and although they have selective hearing, they benefited from her courses and early introduction to other dogs and humans. She is extremely flexible in make-up classes which is great since weekends can be busy. What I really found to be the most wonderful thing about Andrea is that once you have taken her classes, you can continue asking questions in the future about behaviors, etc. My friend and I texted her about safe introductions and I texted her about resource guarding when I got a new puppy, before she had even met him. She is highly committed to dog training and their success. I also utilized her 1:1 training services for my first dog who has zero recall and had some safety issues as a puppy (opening the oven, trying to jump on counters like a cat, weird stuff) so she came to the home a few times to target specific behaviors. I found her prices to be reasonable and her homework to be useful. Our classes had dogs ranging from 5 pounds to 70 pounds so she can definitely adhere any training needs to your dog and adapts on the spot. Highly recommend! And again, if you're wanting more than just basic sit, stay, lay down, socialization, you would probably want to continue on to the more advanced classes, as the basic puppy course we took was simple and focused more on socialization and basic cues!

We got Poppy when she was about 3 months old, and she was a very anxious puppy. As brand-new dog parents, we really wanted to do everything right. Unfortunately, early on we enrolled her in a daycare/train-style program that was very discipline-focused, and it ended up making things worse. Poppy regressed a lot and became even more anxious. That's when we found Christine. From the start, Christine was patient, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive. She helped us undo a lot of the stress and fear that had developed and guided us step by step toward building Poppy's confidence again. What stood out most was that Christine didn't just train our dog -- she helped us grow as dog parents too. Her passion for animals is so obvious in the way she works. She regularly checked in, sent helpful podcasts and articles, and made sure we had the tools we needed between sessions. I also really appreciated that she spaced out the training sessions so we had time to practice and actually see progress. The transformation has been amazing. They have a ton of certified experience and have done fantastic behavioral modification work with my French Bulldog (and myself) in their board and train programs. I have learned to be a better leader for my dog and how to keep him mentally balanced so he's at his best. The structure of the training programs and regular boarding at CCC are solid and well planned so our furry family can learn and have fun in a safe environment while in the care of strong leadership. A bonus in my particular case; CCC techniques are aligned with what is recommended by my board certified vet behaviorist and was covered by my pet insurance. CCC communicates with me openly and regularly before, during, and after any bookings and will send photos and videos of the fun which helped ease my thoughts in the beginning.
