Grand opening not too long ago, we were able to try this place out. The wait was awhile, around 2 hours. They place your number on a t.v. so you can see when you're up next and they also text you when a table is almost available; so you're able to roam around without losing your spot.
Service is okay, nothing spectacular. They provide everything you need on the table so servers mostly just bring out your food. There is a make-it-yourself sauce table that has plenty of spices and a variety of condiments and sauces.
We ordered a variety of things. The TRADITIONAL SPICY BROTH POT we got moderately spicy and man was it spicy. It carried a lot of heat. My lips were swollen by the end of the night and taste-wise, it was meaty and more of heat than flavor. I preferred the TOMATO SOUP. It was perfectly sweet and acidic. The consistency was thicker than the traditional spicy.
The meats were okay, nothing special about them. They soaked up the flavors of the broth and provided a tender meaty element to the dish. I enjoyed getting a little bit of everything in one bite; so some meat, veggies, and tofu, or noodles to top it all off. The broth was the staple of the dish because everything soaked up those flavors.
Overall, it was good. I would come back and eat more, but I wouldn't wait 2 hours for it. read more
