Nice children's museum with lots of activities for kids and free parking. I have to admit this museum is much much smaller than other museums we have visited in Florida (Orlando, Miami and Tampa) but our son had fun anyways.

A lot smaller than the Glazer in Tampa, but more manageable if it's not super busy (which it was when we went on a cool and rainy day). If it weren't so crowded, we could have sat to the side and let our kids just run around. The little side exhibits were a nice reprieve from the craziness. I'd come back but on a day that wouldn't draw such a crowd.

The place is cute but it got boring for the kids after 15 min tops. I feel like there needs to be some upgrades. Definitely overpriced for what they're offering. Idk who was in charge of the music that day but the vibes were gloomy. We decided to take my 2 year old here on his birthday just to get away from the Tampa life. We should've gone to the children's museum in Lakeland. It was wayyy better and i guess my expectations were on that level. A lot of the stuff seemed outdated. But give it a try at your own leisure. I definitely feel like it may be overhyped though. The staff were friendly. They should really make it to where you can have access to the botanical gardens right next door. That'll give u the most bang for your buck!

This place is so clean and has a multitude of stations. The treehouse is fun and they have a large operation game. Plus a giant set of teeth. Not to mention a publix for kids to shop. My two year old loved this. I'm especially impressed at the cleanliness. The only con was that it's a bit small. Highly recommend.

Pleasantly surprised by our local children's museum. It was full of creative centers and had both educational and physical activities. Our son loved so much of it. It certainly could use a little refresh. I'm sure it is a tricky place to keep fresh and parts/pieces stocked but it needs some of that. We went during the week (took off work for our sons birthday and made it his birthday outing) and it wasn't terribly busy. I would visit again on a weekday if it worked out.

My 4 year old had so much fun running and exploring. His favorite was the climbing wall and slide. He went "shopping" at Publix, was a dentist, a vet, a fireman and a doctor. He even made a pizza! The place is a little on the small side but I like that it's compact so I can't lose him. We spent about 2 hours here but he could've stayed longer climbing. We came on a Tuesday and they have many discounts available! There could be more seating for the grownups. We had a great morning down in St Pete!

I have 4 kids aged 10, 7, 5 and 2. We got here at 11am and 6 hours later none of them are bored. Each one has been completely occupied for the whole time. There is something for each age range

TLDR: Currently under renovations, existing experience is limited and not well maintained. Busy on the weekends, higher on the grime factor than I prefer. Currently on Groupon. We love children's museums and will always check them out when in new places. When comparing this one to others it is definitely not as well kept as others we have visited. It is also quite small and more to a scale of an indoor play place rather than a learning experience for children. The highlight for my kids was the pizza making station and the grocery store as other areas were missing parts or broken. Some of the exhibits are under renovations and I am hoping they will help to improve the overall experience. I would also hope they increase the number of hand washing stations as there was only 1 in the entire museum and most of the free play items appeared to be well loved.

This spot is a great place to bring your toddler for an hour or two, but definitely not a place you could spend a whole day at. Due to Covid19, many of the exhibits didn't have all of the toys operating which was a bit of a bummer since we traveled all the way from Orlando. I understand though. The main reason I'm only giving this 3 stars is because I felt like the design of the space was a bit overwhelming. All one giant room. So you walk in and don't know where to begin. It's hard for a toddler to focus on what they wanna do when they can see it all at once.

This children's museum is awesome for 2-6 year olds! It has a tree house with slide, Publix play supermarket, play vet office, play nurse station, "sand" pit, baby/ toddler fenced in play area, play fire truck and other fun activities. My two year played there for 3 hours and I had to drag her out of there to go to lunch. That was my only issue with the museum... no place to eat snacks or lunch. Food and drinks are not allowed in the museum and there are picnic tables anywhere. There is a panara across the road and other eateries around. I will definitely take my two year back when the weather is inclement.

Cute place but not well monitored. The space designed for 4 year olds and younger had older kids running wild and behaving inappropriately.

The moment we stepped inside, though, my opinion completely changed. The entrance is beautifully designed, with a cozy lounge area, a bright yellow chair, tiered seating filled with colorful artistic pillows, and so many creative details to admire. We were greeted by a very friendly staff member at the front desk, which made us feel welcome right away. The museum begins with a small contemporary art gallery and a stylish café/bar area. It has a very artistic atmosphere. It looked like the café is still being finished, as the bar wasn't fully set up yet, but I can already imagine how great it will be once completed. Even the restroom sinks caught my attention--they're a work of art on their own! Then the real adventure begins. Walking into the darker rooms filled with neon lights felt like stepping into another world. Every room is completely different and feels like its own immersive art installation. There are so many interactive spaces that encourage you to explore, play, and take your time. My younger daughter absolutely loved the room filled with giant strawberry desserts, while my older daughter couldn't get enough of the interactive gaming area. There is also a creative room where visitors can draw, and it was a huge hit with the kids. My favorite installation was a room designed to look like a small neighborhood shop where every single item was handmade from fabric by a group of five women. As someone who studied art and clothing design, including sewing, I know how much patience, precision, and skill goes into work like this. I found myself admiring every tiny detail, every perfectly sewn stitch, and all the incredible craftsmanship. It was truly inspiring, and I have so much respect for the artists who created it. The only downside was a very strong musty smell in parts of the museum. It was noticeable throughout our visit and took away a little from the overall experience. I hope it's something temporary that can be fixed, because this place is incredibly creative and deserves to be enjoyed without that distraction. FloridaRAMA is full of surprises. It may not look like much from the outside, but once you step through the doors, you enter a world of imagination, creativity, and pure art. We ended up spending much longer there than we expected, and both kids and adults had an amazing time. It's a fun, unique experience that's absolutely worth visiting if you're in St. Petersburg.

The sheer creativity that the artists had to have to make this place come to life, was just fascinating. We also loved the gift shop on the way out; it features so many wonderful local artists, so of course, we had to pick up a few treats to take home. This place is truly a St. Pete treasure. I had already visited the Dalí museums in Spain and had seen some of his works in France, but I had no idea that Florida had such an incredible museum dedicated to him. Before we even stepped inside, I was amazed by the architecture. The building is a work of art on its own, both inside and out. Everything was spotless, and the staff was welcoming and helpful. When we bought our tickets, they gave my daughters a free activity book with colored pencils and told us about the children's art room, which was such a thoughtful touch for families. One of my favorite architectural details was the beautiful spiral staircase inspired by the DNA helix. On the first floor there's also a lovely gift shop, a café, and the children's art room located near the restrooms. The collection itself is outstanding. I've always loved how Dalí filled his paintings with countless tiny details, and seeing the originals up close gave me an even greater appreciation for his work. I was also surprised to learn that he designed jewelry and explored so many other forms of art beyond painting. The museum does an amazing job blending classic art with modern technology. One of the highlights was the immersive VR experience, where you put on a headset and step inside one of Dalí's surreal worlds. It genuinely felt like walking through one of his paintings while the characters and landscapes came to life around you. I wasn't the only one who loved it--my daughters had a wonderful time too. One of our favorite moments was the immersive theater in the separate round building outside. After exploring the galleries and the beautiful garden, we happily sank into the giant bean bags on the floor. Then the lights dimmed, and an incredible multimedia presentation began. The paintings we had just admired seemed to come alive while Dalí's life story unfolded around us. It was such a magical experience. I especially loved hearing my daughter whisper, "Mom, we saw this painting today... and this one too!" Seeing her connect what she had learned made the visit even more meaningful. Of course, we couldn't leave without stopping by the gift shop. I already knew exactly what I wanted--a T-shirt, a bucket hat, and a coffee mug. The kids picked out colored pencils and a few art supplies to take home. I can't recommend this museum enough. Whether you're already a fan of Salvador Dalí or simply appreciate beautiful art, architecture, and immersive experiences, this museum is absolutely worth the trip.
