Mesmerizing and spellbinding. I still find myself awestruck several hours later after visiting the Imagine Museum on whim as we passed through the area. I'm sure there are plenty more words in the local vernacular that can describe the incredibly gorgeous the works of art displayed at the Imagine Museum. There is a bit of a mystique to the museum upon approach - the subtle blue facade of the building gives it a bit of a playful aura, while appealing to the eye as it contrasts with the surrounding structures and roads. The venue has its own dedicated parking lot, with street parking available off Central Ave; you can enter the lot from 20th and 19th Streets, with one way entry from 1st Avenue. There are two entrances on either side of the building on the first floor and leads you into the admissions kiosk and gift shop respectively before you begin to see any of the galleries. Imagine Museum is incredibly community friendly and extremely price conscious. There are plenty of deals and opportunities that you can jump on when visiting the venue. There are also a calendar that sheds insights to events hosted by the museum. Entering the gallery area, we were greeted by a curator who did a great job at welcoming us as first-timers to the museum. It made the visit feel a bit more personal and inviting. Additionally, we were treated to a scavenger hunt game which made our visit with our kids even more fun; any bit of hesitation or doubts that our young children would be instantly bored was alleviated. Almost immediately, we were captivated by the various pieces and displays as we walked the different galleries. My descriptions simply will not do any justice in terms of the stunning art that you can see here. The variety and the flow of the various themes is so expertly detailed and organized with precision. The last time I felt so amazed by glass and crystal was at the Swarovski Museum in Innsbruck, Austria. Needless to say, Imagine Museum is a great showcase of art in general, and an inspiration across generations and dimensions. The venue is a great steward of art. The Imagine Museum is simply a must visit - it is truly a rose in a concrete jungle. Do yourself, your friends, and family a favor - take them to Imagine Museum to explore art in a way that it's meant to be enjoyed!

Visited the Imagine Museum this past weekend for the second time. Since it was International Museum Day, It was Free. Normal price is $15, but on Sunday mornings from 10-12 and after 5 pm on Thursdays it is $5. There's often events and Friday night markets here. The Imagine Museum is quite beautiful and informative. I feel like many areas of interest can be covered here including art, art history, social sciences, and political science. I love that the art here is physical and can also be viewed in many perspectives. This is also a great place to escape the heat when visiting St. Pete. There's not many places you can do that besides restaurants and shopping. From visiting you will see there's a great feel and look here. I would say walking around and seeing all of these displays/art installations here would take about 1-3 hours. They also have a free parking lot.

I have to say I never considered going to this museum as I thought I had no interest in glass. I have lived close by since it opened and had a friend visit who wanted to see it. What an amazing place. I would rank this among the top if not the best museum I have ever visited and I have been to many including all all the New York City museums and major museums in Italy , Greece and England. The unique works of art and variety are breathtaking. The staff were top notch , just an amazing all around experience

A perk of being a member of the Sunken Gardens was tickets to this place. The scavenger hunt was entertaining. The curation is a bit hit or miss. The alien room was very cool. If I had to pay to experience this place, I wouldn't- but as a Sunken Gardens perk, it was well worth it!

Absolutely wonderful 1st time experience- highly recommend!!!! I came here on a Saturday for an awesome family friendly " Squid Game " experience. Love it... Spacious parking / friendly staff - everything was perfect. Cute date spot / weekend or weekday spot to check out.

Very interesting museum with a wide array of glass sculptures and glass art. Prices are very affordable and conveniently located. They also have a very cute shop. Their customer service was wonderful.

This glass museum has so much more than just glass. There is manga, comics, wall art and even aliens! If you modern love art, you will absolutely love this museum.

Nice way to spend a few hours in St. Pete whether you are visiting the area or a local. The first floor hallway provides an interesting history of glass, And in the rooms on two floors of the museum, there are glass exhibits from various artist, styles and time periods. I included pictures of a few pieces that caught my attention. Go check it out, especially on a super hot day when you want to be in AC or also a great rainy day activity.

Me and my friend went to the imagine museum yesterday' to enjoy our Friday. We truly had the best time. The museum has a really great amount of exhibits, amazing quotes, sweet staff, and I love how all the gallery rooms seamlessly move you through the museum. The museum is very aesthetically pleasing and the perfect time out whether solo, date, or with your friends. And it was so cool to see a king tut artifact in there as well!

My husband and I loved our visit to the Imagine Museum. The creativity on display is incredible, and it's such a unique and engaging way to learn. The glass sculptures and their history were fascinating and beautifully presented. Paige at the front desk was absolutely lovely and made us feel very welcome. A wonderful experience that blends art, education, and inspiration. Highly recommend!

We had a super time going through this museum of glass! They have incredible displays and I learned a lot. I wish they had offered the scavenger hunt to us as adults as well as the children. We are considering becoming members because of all the reciprocals. Overall, really worth checking out!

This was definitely a neat spot to check out. I enjoyed all of the artistry. Everything was so beautiful. The people that made the sculptures and the art have very talented hands. It is definitely worth seeing at least once. Especially if you like art. They also had a huge UFO space type of exhibit. If you like that type of stuff, this is the place to go.

If you haven't been here before, DO NOT MISS this incredible museum of glass art. I hadn't visited for way too long, and was wowed by the impressive growth. I didn't recall seeing the Chihuly pieces previously. The colors on the walls, the lighting, the museum layout makes it such a memorable experience. And what a great way to spend time on a gray day. DO NOT TOUCH or allow children to touch any of the pieces.

Is this a good museum to take kids to (ages 6&8)?

Only if they can keep their hands to themselves since it's all glass and very expensive. And since I raised 2 kids I'd say that child doesn't exist, so no. There is a Children's Museum in St Pete that is a much better option for them

Expect a smaller collection than some big city exhibit, but you will see a choice piece by a seriously legendary artist! (Jan 2026) Caravaggio's c. 1494 "Boy Bitten by a Lizard" was cutting-edge Baroque realism in its day! Among many other works, we also loved Forain's etching of the famous cabaret, Les Folies-Bergère, c. 1880. And Passarotti's Chicken Sellers, c. 1580, quite racy if you know the symbolism! A rooster! Crossed-legs! Per bacco!!! We enjoyed the café/bakery with around 16 outdoor umbrellaed seats and at least twice that many indoors. It's got a very high ceiling and floor-to-ceiling windows. The baked goods were quite tasty! There are seats thoughtfully placed here and there inside and outside the museum, so you can always find a spot to relax. They have a very nice giftshop, too.

That said, I was extremely impressed on so many levels: *police presence/ security: unfortunately the reality, even before October 7. Thank you St. Petersburg PD and security *this said, there is a strict bag policy, only clear bags. There is limited locker availability, so leave the big purse, etc at home *just the right size. It took us maybe 90 minutes ( or less) to cover the entire museum. Not too much to get bored and: or miss exhibits *excellent flow/time line; of course I'd only expect historic accuracy, but the coverage of certain areas oftentimes minimized of ignored was very much noticed: DP ( displaced persons) camps ; Shanghai Jews; difficulty returning "home" post war ( the Kielce pogrom-- my father's z"l hometown) *local survivor artifacts: letters: photos: commentary, etc, really personalizes this subject and is likely to reach more visitors An actual boxcar snd tracks, the real boat---go visit for more details-- the best way to learn *thank you for having a Dimensions in Testimony exhibit, created by the USC Shoah Foundation. This amazing technology allows interaction ( direct questioning) with a survivor who appears to be answering your questions. A MUST *great exhibit on loan from the Skirball Museum ( LA), my old home, and very relatable to museum goers on so many levels *another exhibit ( shirt but succinct) on Elie Wiesel. If you don't know who he is, you definitely MUST visit this museum *a nice gift shop full of Judaica ( mezuzahs, menorahs , kiddish cups, bracelets, lots of books, t -shirts, and other novelties.
