I have gotten good service here a year ago. But the last two times weren't great. After a bad service, I decided I would try them again because I had had a good service in the past. But I was especially horrified at the last visit! First, the two male therapists who were assigned to my friend and I REEKED of cigs. When they started a massage with what should've been a nice head massage, I realized their fingers were the source of the cigarette stench! When they start on your arms and your shoulder area, they open hand rub the front of your shoulders, which makes them kind of get your chest! They should not be massaging there! Someone wrote a previous review that mentioned boundaries were crossed and I have to imagine this was what she was talking about. The foot massage was fine. All hell kind of breaks loose once you flip over for the 30 minute back massage. My friend and I were both dying! I have had so many massages in my life- I even have a monthly membership at one of the popular massage chains. Every vacation I go on I get a massage. This was like getting a random biker off the side of the road to give a massage. It was so aggressive and painful and I'm pretty sure they were applying pressure to places where you are not supposed to. Walpole board of health- please check licenses and certifications! They probably need to implement a handwashing practice, as well. I definitely had cigarette fingers all over me. Oh, and by the way. We tried to communicate with the men that we were in pain and they didn't listen, care, adjust, or seek understanding. There definitely was a language barrier. I had a very disappointing experience. The front desk staff was rude, dismissive, and not willing to listen to my concerns. I booked a full-body massage, but the session focused almost entirely on my back. When I tried to speak up, I was told that the therapist does not communicate during the session, which left no opportunity to correct the service while it was happening. I also experienced discomfort to the therapist during the treatment involving hot stones, since he didn't understand English he didn't understand when I say it's burning me . Overall, I felt unheard, and that the service did not match what I paid for. The staff at the front desk did not take my concerns seriously at any point. Not a Relaxing Experience - Felt Unprofessional and Uncomfortable I rarely leave negative reviews--especially as a small business owner, I understand the impact--but this experience was not only extremely disappointing, it was unprofessional and concerning enough that it needs to be shared. I came with my 18-year-old daughter for a 30-minute foot reflexology and 30-minute body massage. From the moment we arrived, customer service was poor and there was a significant language barrier. We were unable to communicate our needs or preferences clearly at any point, which immediately set the tone for a frustrating experience. We were assigned male therapists who applied excessively strong pressure despite multiple attempts to request it be reduced. Those requests were not understood or acknowledged, and the discomfort continued for the entire session. More seriously, there were moments during the massage where the level of physical proximity and contact crossed a professional boundary and made both my daughter and I deeply uncomfortable. It felt inappropriate and completely unacceptable in a professional massage setting, and it left us feeling uneasy rather than relaxed. After the 60 minutes, I attempted to speak with the manager privately, but due to the language barrier, there was no meaningful resolution or understanding of the concerns I was trying to raise. The overall experience was not relaxing-in fact, quite the opposite. My daughter was so upset that she left in tears, and I experienced soreness for then next two days In the past, I have received numerous massages both in the U.S. and internationally, and it is typically more common to see more female masseuses than males in most practices. I was surprised that at the time of our visit, only male therapists were available. I am sharing this so others understand how deeply violated, frustrated, and upset we felt during this experience. read more

My daughter bought a Groupon for a couple's full body deep tissue massage and we had our appointment on 3/10/26 for 5pm. We ran 15 mins late due to traffic coming from Boston. When we arrived, instead of us being greeted, we greeted the young lady at the front desk (she seemed to be occupied looking down at the desk). There were no other customers in the waiting room. I must say the area was very nicely decorated and had that Beijing vibe. I also loved the butterflies on the wall, they were very pretty. We told her who we were and she bustled us to the room for our massage. She told us to undress and lay on the bed. The room was very clean and it smelled fresh, which I loved. Not even a minute later, we heard a knock on the door and I had to tell them to give us some time to undress. Two minutes later (I kid you not) 2 males entered the room. No introduction ever, he just started to fix my arms and the blanket on my body. Upon him positioning my left arm, his infant balls landed in my hands and I could feel his private parts rubbing against my whole arm as he "fixed" my body. I thought maybe it was just by accident, but when it happened again on my right side, I lifted my head and gave him a look of death and tucked both my arms tightly to my body. I then said something to my daughter on the other table to see if she was good and then he said something to the other massage guy in his language. My daughter responded to me to chill, so because I didn't want to embarrass her and cause a scene, I let him proceed with the massage. The majority of the hour full body massage he focused on my back. He must have felt my energy because at one point, he was applying so much pressure with his elbow on my upper back. I yelped out an "ouch" and he eased up a bit (My upper back is still sore today Sunday and it has been five days later). I was truly over this massage, but because my child worked so hard to treat me to something she knows I love, I wanted her to feel appreciated, so I kept my cool. He did minimal arm, never touched my shoulders and when it was time to do my legs, he tried to put the blanket way up my butt. I pulled it down so fast to my thigh and clinched my legs closed! He did 5 mins on my legs and never once massaged my feet. He also did the oil and hot stones. At the end, he told me to turn on my back and he massaged my temple for a few minutes, never massaged my head and THANK GOD, it was over. At this point, I asked him what his name was and he said it was Kevin (an older man) and the other one said Steven. I asked my daughter if he was inappropriate with his massage and she said he was not, just a little rough with the massage. I must also point out that during our session, they would periodically have conversations and laughing so unprofessional, especially when it's supposed to be a peaceful, relaxing experience. As we were getting dressed, I told my child not to tip them a cent but she said she would anyhow and gave me $38 for them both. When we exited the room, Kevin was waiting right there in the hallway and I handed him the money and proceeded to the front. We approached the front desk to redeem the Groupon and that's when I asked the young lady what her name was and she stated Anna. She never asked us how the massage was and I tried to get her to atleast speak to us by asking her what candy in the bowl was the best to try. She was apprehensive but did point out a few and gave us a mini bottle of water to go. I don't know what's going on with this business but Kevin is a pervert and the front desk could be much more friendly and welcoming. I'm also wondering if these massage therapists are trained and licensed because it doesn't feel as such, or maybe this is how it's done for people with a Groupon. This was my 5th massage since September (1 with Etant Boston 10/10, 1 with Newbury Health spa 5/10, 2 on Carnival Cruise 8/10 and now with them 2/10). We will NEVER GO BACK or recommend them to anyone! This was the first uncomfortable, unrelaxing massage I've ever received in my years of getting massages. read more

I made an appointment for a full body massage. The massage started on time. The massage itself was great. However I only got a shoulder massage, it was nothing remotely full body. I asked but my masseuse said time was up. I let the person at the front desk know but she went ahead and charged me $78 for a full body massage when I got only a shoulder massage. I tried to tell her that a few times, but she only said sorry and gave me 2 $5 coupons to remedy.. This felt very dissatisfying. I called them the next day to let them know, the person on the phone was able to communicate better. I was told someone would call me back. I am waiting. I made an appointment for one service, was given another service but was charged for what I asked for. Hoping they can provide better services for the massage itself was pretty darn good. read more

I very rarely ever write a negative review. If I could give this 0 stars I would. Buyer Beware. The only positive I can say is the checkin process was very easy. The person who checked me in was very reassuring, and I was taken on time. The actual massage and reflexology combo experience was terrible. I was struggling not to get up from the table and walk out, thinking I could help the person understand to be less intensely strong and painful, and that it was a gift and I didn't want to disappoint my friend. It was awful and I've had great massages at other places before. My friend booked me for a combo one half hour reflexology and one half hour Gentle Soft swedish massage. I was really looking forward to it. I asked if the reflexology would hurt when I first checked in and was told no it doesn't hurt. That made sense to me because I've had it at a place in Arlington once before and it didn't hurt at all. The woman at the desk had perfect English so I knew she understood me. However, the person who did my reflexology and my massage didn't seem to understand English or just really didn't care that I kept saying Ow, No that hurts, gentle please, soft not hard, and I kept pulling away and saying not to be that strong and I did not want the massage to hurt--because she just couldn't - or wouldn't adjust. I have zero idea which it was because she never changed her "technique", never even introduced herself, didn't adjust her massage strength even when I said OW that hurts several times, cued me via hand motions versus speaking English which she maybe said two words which I barely could understand (and I work with folks for whom English isn't their first language for part of my job), and she was super strong. She didn't explain what reflexology point she was thinking she was helping with. She never even checked in to see if I had any preferences for areas to be careful with or what I preferred for level of pressure or how she was doing. It was very intense and it hurt, even though my friend booked me for a gentle massage and stated that several times when booking the appointment and she and I both confirmed this was for gentle soft swedish style massage and reflexology that wouldn't hurt when I checked in at the desk. And I stated that several times in the reflexology and massage rooms, even using hand motions and saying no this hurts, I want gentle, soft- not hard, even pulling myself away from what she was doing at times and nothing helped. I almost walked out during it and I should have. It didn't feel like any massage I've ever received. Today, one day later, areas of my legs hurt as though they're bruised. I keep thinking I'm going to see bruises- it was that bad. She also put hot stones on me, which has always been a great experience at other places, but here she pressed them into me so hard that it felt like they were burning or scalding me and I pulled away and said Ow that hurts. She just awkwardly did something like a chuckle and kept going. It was also the first time ever that I was given a massage with all of my clothes on, except for shoes and socks and my winter coat, so everything stayed on even earrings, my sweater and jeans, weird. So I will never return, told my friend who got this as a gift for me about it since she has in the past referred people there and not to refer anyone unless they like very strong painful massages that feel like you will have bruises the next day and are extremely rough and intense, and I am sharing my experience, which I can't believe she paid money for, so that you can decide if this is for you. If you want an actual relaxing gentle swedish style massage than this place with this person isn't the one to go to- and that's who they gave me for a gentle massage. I've never been so thankful to go back to my usual place I go to in Woburn as I am after this experience. Oh my gosh it was an awful experience, the worst massage I've ever gotten in my life. Excellent massage from head to toe!! My person was super strong and kind, and she knew exactly where all my knots were on my back and feet. I did the 60-minute reflexology/foot soak/bodywork with hot stones! The cushions that you sit on are comfortable and everything was clean and bright. I called today to ask if they could accommodate a 60 min full body massage. They were super accommodating. The space is simple,clean and relaxing. Susan did my massage and it was fantastic. I didn't say a word she found exactly where I needed more or less pressure. The value is also incredible a 60 minute massage for $75 WOW!!! Just keep in mind there is a $3 service charge if using a credit card but you can put your tip on the card so that's convenient. I will definitely be back!!! read more
