I have been to this location 3 times for a 60 min massage. The first time I had the male working. He massaged me into another reality, it was amazing. My eyelash extensions were a little messed up after but I didn't care! The last two times I have had the female masseuse. She is also good, not as life changing but she can apply pressure! This last time I scheduled an appointment on their website. Something messed up and they weren't expecting me so I had to wait 15 mins but it wasn't a big deal! I'll definitely be back with their pricing be fair and they don't tell you you need to tip them. My appointment was on time and the wait time was negligible. The place is clean and well maintained. My masseuse, Mai was really good. She spent a lot of time on my back and got rid of all the knots and aches I had. The heat from the hot stones felt good but I don't recall the stones being placed like they show in the picture. Nonetheless, it was a great experience. The only reason I took a star off, is because the walls are paper thin. I could hear another client talking in the next room. Great massage, easy scheduling and availability. They were able to see me for a same day appt, had a massage by Nico (sp?) and came out feeling great. I went in for a specific reason, and I explained it to Nico. Most therapists will still do a full body routine with a milder focus on the problem area but not Nico. I felt like she actually knew what she was doing to heal me versus going through the motions to get that overall "relaxed massage". Something this mom really appreciated. It was a no frills experience. Quiet music and no aroma therapy but it wasn't needed. Prices were very reasonable ($69 cash for 1hour) , the room was clean, safe feeling. Making appointment was quick and added tip without thinking that i should have tipped after fact. I got there 4 min late and the front desk thought i was a walk in and pointed out what program. I asked for Tom whom, i chosed to do the massage but she didnt respond, I showed her my iphone that the appt was paid for an hour. She looked at it then asked again what program i want to pay. I told her that i paid for one hour online including tip. 5 min later she guided me to the room, I asked if Tom was coming again no reply, then she ended up doing the massage for 51 min (minus 9 minutes of loss time). Before i left, i asked for Tom again, she gave me a business card and said bye. I have been to masseur several times in the past, she did ok but the real problem is that I wrote in the "instruction" on the appt for Tom to understand where the knots were and what from.. This was an unfortunate experience. It was difficult to communicate with the staff. I felt extremely unsettled and nervous because I did not know what to do or where to go when I got there due to the language barrier. It also made me nervous that at first, I only saw male staff and had to request a female massage therapist after I felt uncomfortable being in a small dingy room with a strange man in plain clothes, whom I couldn't communicate with. I was nervous the whole time because there wasn't communication about why the therapist was leaving the room or what was happening along the process. I wish I could get a refund for the experience, however instead I was pestered for a tip. Do not come here if you are expecting a luxurious, calm or safe-feeling environment. Do come here if you don't mind a dingy/ plane space, communication issues, a tip requirement (despite your experience) and to be frank a rough but effective massage. Great massage, and I get a ton! Tony, ? owner, was so skilled . I had one prior with his ? mother, whom did not speak any English, so it was hard to tell her what to do, where to go, hard vs soft, etc. so not great. Then, I tried Tony. OMG. This place is a bit of a diamond in the rough. I bought a Groupon for the 60 minute hot stone and deep tissue massage. Tony was my massage therapist and he was AWESOME! I am usually disappointed when deep tissue massages end up being just a back rub. However, this was truly a deep tissue massage. Tony zoned in on all my knots and dug in - it was just what i needed for my sore back. My only complaint is the horrible electronic style muzak pipped into the rooms... I went and the bald man up front was very money hungry for tips. I didn't not like that at all. I still can't believe that I was looked down upon for leaving a 10 dollar tip. I'm always skeptical when I see one star reviews and tend to give the establishment the benefit of the doubt. But this experience was not good. Experience: I thought it was very weird there were no intake forms. Every other massage place I've been to asks you questions about what kind of pressure you would like, areas not to touch, pain points, etc. They don't do that here. My massage started about 15-20 minutes late. Not a big deal honestly since they still gave me the full hour. My masseuse was never introduced to me. Someone started giving me a massage and then he left the room. A few minutes later someone else comes in and continues and it was a totally different person, with no communication. She left the room a few times during the massage. She also carried on a conversation with another worker, which means either someone else was in the room or the door to the hallway was open. I could never relax with the constant talking, door opening and closing, rushing around. Massage: I wasn't too focused on the massage since the experience felt stressful and like I was on display. I do remember the massage being a little heavy-handed with the pressure. At the end she asked how I felt and I honestly told her my neck and shoulders hurt way more than when I first came in. I don't think she understood what I was saying. I am writing this review the next day from my bed barely able to move because my back feels so stiff. I can't raise my shoulders without extreme pain. I have been coming to this relaxing therapy center since 2016 and I've always had good experiences. I've actually brought tons of people with me to get massages and most of the time it was their first experience so I brought them here as of 2022. The massage has become so terrible. I actually leave the place feeling worse than when I originally arrived. I used to always have the owner do my massages, but for some reason I don't think he does them anymore. However, he was by far the best person to do the massages. The staff that are there now the woman that I had she was a small talking with them other man in the room, which made it difficult for me to relax. She put no effort into the massage. She used her elbows the entire time. Granted it was a late appointment, So I gave the benefit of the doubt long day she could be tired, but I did not feel like I got a massage. She smacked my back the entire time and shoved her elbows in my back. My son could have done a better job. Thank you for the experiences that I did have. If I could give a negative review I would. I decided to purchase a massage through Groupon as I recently purchased one for a hair salon and had a wonderful experience. Not the same result here. When I first arrived to the massage center a pleasant man said hello to me and then began talking on his cell phone. A little strange, but okay. 5 minutes later he asks for my name and then starts looking at the clock. I had made my appointment about a week prior for 12:30p on a Thursday figuring it would be a quiet time and their schedule was wide open when I booked online. He then informs me that this appointment has been cancelled. I look at my emails and at 12:20p my appointment had been cancelled by the massage center. They then tell me they can do 1:45p which I cannot do since I'm already there for my 12:30p appointment and have other things to do throughout the day. I ask them what happened to my appointment and am informed "they got busy". So basically appointments are useless since they don't honor them--great business model. I then notice my Groupon is now marked "used" because I made my appointment and didn't give ample notice(30 hours per Groupon rules) to cancel. I cannot be reimbursed even though I was not the one to cancel. So now the massage center has been paid, I have no Groupon, no massage, no reimbursement and have wasted time and gas. Groupon will also not issue a reimbursement as I did not follow their "cancelling rules". I can't help but feel this place has figured out how to use Groupon to their advantage. Do yourself a favor and schedule somewhere reputable because this place will leave you feeling anything but 'relaxed'. read more
