When my wife and I were fostering dogs in Michigan, she fell in love with a Miniature Pinscher mix named Obi. He was different from any dog I'd trained before, and without other dogs to help with training, it was a challenge. We needed Obi to be able to travel the world with us and assist my wife with her PTSD. Within six weeks, Fred from The Dog Wizard trained us on how to make Obi an incredible companion. The transformation was night and day. Now, Obi walks calmly by our side unless given the 'free' command. He accompanies us to stores, ignoring everything and everyone around him. He was hairless to the point you can see his bones. I paid $122 which includes de-matting but he has no hair so what was departed? Literally shaved him bald. I never received a call asking for permission to cut off all his hair. My dog doesn't even look like himself. Every time I look at him I want to cry because I'm so angry. I called to cancel his future appointment and i was asked what happened and did I want to go to another location. No THANK YOU! Will no longer be utilizing their daycare or boarder services either because I don't trust them with my fur child.

I love that they take pictures daily and I was able to find one of him. I also love that they let the dogs run around ALL DAY. Most places keep the dogs in cages all day unless you pay a premium to have your dog out and about. I also appreciate the option to have him bathed before pickup. On his second visit he ended up with pink eye while he was there. Beyond grateful with how they rose to the occasion. I was immediately notified that his eye didn't look right. They asked if I would like their vet to take a look at him. Same day the vet looked at him, prescribed meds and I was able to seamlessly pay for the service. Upon my arrival back the next day to pick him up they shared with me how to give him his medicine and provided the vets information for follow up. The vet was responsive to my call and extremely helpful. The only not so fun parts is they are old school in booking stays so you can't book stays online and the check in process takes a little bit of time. So give yourself at least 10 minutes to check your dog in if you are boarding him otherwise drop off is quick if the dog is coming for day care only.

On Thursday morning we received a call that he was sick. we picked him up and within 10 hours he died with a diagnosis of infectious pneumonia that exacerbated and he went septic. we requested at least reimbursement for the boarding and some assistance with the exorbitant costs to save his life. Since their insurance denied claim we received no reimbursement not even a sympathy card. No words can express our sadness over the last of our sweet puppy.
