I had the worst time just trying to get a drug screening here and when I found out my new employer gave me the wrong email to sent it off to, the person I spoke to over the phone was extremely rude about lifting a finger to send the email off again. Extremely rude staff, unresponsive to employer follow ups for information regarding pre-employment testing as well as workers comp issues. VERY responsive on billing questions though. If you question them on work restrictions they put in place for employees they become very rude. For instance, when questioning the length of time they had an employee off, the doctor stated they were making recommendations based on their medical opinion, but in the same breath state that the employee wanted some days off work. Don't recommend using them as an employer. read more

Took my daughter with a nasty dog bite to this clinic yesterday. I was pleased to find very little wait time. We were both impressed at the urgency and empathy shown to us by Carrie Mersereau (C-NP). Disappointed, with the service they provided. Front desk/nurses were rude, Dr. was very short. I called to check the price before going and was told $69 for a visit. I had a very very terrible encounter with the receptionist by the name of Mandy. I am a veteran who was utilizing this urgent care because they were on the va.gov in network urgent cares in my area and this woman was very rude about it that they were not. I showed her that they were on the website and I was doing what I was told and she got very nasty with me. She told me her billing dept told her to tell me I need to take them off the veteran affairs website. Can you believe that !? She is telling me, a patient to take them off a government website. She followed by telling the person on the phone to come deal with me because I was giving her attitude and shut the glass in my face as I was explaining to her I cannot do that because I don't work for the va. Of course they took her side, stating they needed to review the cameras but nothing will be done. I highly suggest going to another urgent care if you are a veteran or be very careful with these people. They do not know compassion and what customer service means. Which is scary because this is a medical facility. I have never experienced anything like this in my life. read more

I took my daughter here on New Year's Eve. I got there at 2:15. Found out they close at 3. When I walked in all I could smell was cigarette smoke. Nothing but people getting drug tests. We were the last ones seen. The receptionist locked the doors and left before we were even seen by the nurse practitioner. The nurse seemed really nice. She took my 2 year olds temperature in her ear. Said there was too much wax to see if there was an infection. She said my daughters fever was at 103° and I need to take her to an Er. After getting to the ER they said her temp was 100° exactly. They asked how her temp was taken, and said it should have been under the arm, or orally. I don't usually write reviews, but this place seriously disappointing and will not be returning. read more

I used this facility because I was from out of town and did not know where else to go. I was shocked at how rude and unorganized the staff was at this location. It was so bad that I created an account on Yelp JUST to write this review. The front desk is not manned regularly and they do not keep a sign in sheet which means you are not seen on a first come basis. The staff is slow but it is not because they are providing excellent one-on-one service. Because, when you see the doctor, it's as if you are being an inconvenience. I'm thankful to be able to have medical attention but I've never experienced such a disappointing medical visit on all levels from start to finish. Very unprofessional. MA that handled the insurance was arrogant and had an attitude that nobody who is sick wants to deal with. My wife called to clarify the insurance and the same MA copped an attitude with her. I was given the run around everytime I called. If you are ill your better off going to the hospital down the street. Still not have heard from Ann or Kyle after requesting a call back from 2 weeks ago. Very rude staff. The first and only visit to this office was not pleasant. After paying for the office visit, I apparently still owed for what my insurance didn't cover. For 1 1/2 years they apparently sent invoices to my old address or simply never sent an invoice because all other mail was forwarding to the new address just fine. Recently I got a nasty phone call from a woman in the office saying they're turning the $55 invoice over to collections... after verifying the information, I called the office right back and let them know I'd be sending in the payment on that same day. Nearly one month later, I rec'd a letter from the collection agency. I have excellent credit and these folks simply don't give a damn! read more

To whom it may concern, 26 June, 2012 Tonight my husband had an accident at home and knew he was going to need treatment from a doctor. He contacted the insurance company to find out where he should go, they said for him to go to the Great Lakes Urgent Care in Perrysburg. He called the number to that office and spoke with the answering service as the receptionist had gone. The answering service stated that the closed at 6:00 pm, but if he arrived before 6, they would treat him. We arrived there at 5:53 and the girl in the office met my husband at the door where I dropped him off and said "they were closing". As I got up there to the door, I asked what was going on? You could clearly see my husband was injured with his leg wrapped and blood dripping from it into his shoe. My husband told the girl what the answering service said, so she went back into the back and then came out to us and said the doctor could not see him that they were closing. Well I spoke up loud and clear and said you have got to be kidding me and asked is the doctor really going to refuse taking care of him and who is the doctor? A man stepped out from behind a door stating he was Dr. Miller and he was not going to take care of him that he had other patients to take care of and to move along. There were no other patients in the lobby. I was in shock that a doctor who took an oath would deny treatment on someone who was in need of it immediately. As we were walking out the door a Fed-Ex driver was very upset that they denied my husband treatment seeing all the blood on him and stated if we needed a witness on this to call her. She said we were here at 5:53, she watched us pull in. I have the Fed-Ex driver's information if you wish to verify. We then contacted the insurance company and they directed us to another Urgent Care in Maumee, where my husband received 8 stitches. I am just appalled at how this so called doctor treated my husband. My husband was in need of medical attention, made the proper calls to his insurance and to the Urgent care, and he was turned away. I hate to think what might have happened if it would have been more serious than we thought. Dr. Miller never asked what happened, how bad it was, how much it bleeding, if my husband had any medical conditions or how he was even feeling. I feel this is poor doctoring. I do know that if anybody in our family needs medical care that we will not be going back to Great Lakes Urgent Care in Perrysburg. read more

Never go here. The doctor barely took a history before giving me a strep test, which was negative. He then would not even talk to me. He sent in a rude and condescending nurse who refused to let me talk to the doctor about treatment options. I went to an urgent care facility because I was miserable and suffering despite trying Tylenol. The nurse had the audacity to tell me there was absolutely nothing else to do for me other than take Tylenol, which is false and irresponsible. They charged full price and sent me out the door with no treatment or advice whatsoever. Don't waste your time going here. Drive down the road to Maumee or Bowling Green where you will get real care. read more

I have a new job that sends us to Urgent care for a physical/ drug test. I have my own insurance & PCP but I went to where my job sent me. The staff was rude right from the greeting ," Here fill this out, sit down". I asked about how long the wait will be. Fair question. Response- " I don't know",( with a sneer). Then she shuts the window on me. I get called back, the man doing the drug test was also rude, snippy and overall just miserable. I asked what I should do, he looked at me and said , " Just go to the bathroom." He was barking orders like a dog. I have never been treated so poorly. I was clearly embarrassed, but he seemed pretty comfortable barking away. I am not a prison inmate. I deserved to be treated with respect. Not everyone coming through their doors are asking for drugs or are convicted felons. I'm just there as a standard procedure. I'm not sure why each staff member treated me poorly. I will gladly pay out of pocket for my new job physical somewhere else rather than be subjected to such disrespectful treatment by an unhappy staff.
