They greeted us warmly, then simply allowed us the freedom to explore at our own pace. No one trailed behind us from aisle to aisle, no one pressured us into buying anything, and there was never that awkward feeling that you were being watched while trying to quietly enjoy the books that caught your interest. There is plenty of seating in the cafe - with tables and a high-top bar seating with outlets. I have not seen any other sitting areas in the store. I love all of the windows that bring in natural lighting. Along the left you have journals, stationery, and gifts. Rifle Paper Co, and all the favorites. Vinyl albums, LEGOs, games, and toys. I've been to several of the comic stores in town and more than a few had a less-than-welcoming vibe. After calling another store in town to inquire about comic sales (and getting a quasi-hostile response), I tried calling the Comic Signal. Don was immediately helpful and informative. After stopping at the shop in person, I was surprised to find that the owner was happy to discuss anything to do with comics. He also helped me pick out a great board game for my kids and actually opened one up to let me see what it looked like and explained how it was played. What a great store to have in the community! I can definitely recommend giving this place a try if you're interested in comics and/or related collectibles.
