He appears to be a down to earth guy, and though he has a job to perform, he very much went out of his way for us. He and the dealership were very fair in their dealings with us, both with price and patience. The way we've shopped for vehicles in recent years is we have compiled a very small list of dealerships that we feel comfortable with and trust (if that's not too strong of a word), and that's who we look to first when we purchase a vehicle. That approach has worked well for us, and at this point in time, with what we've experienced thus far with Pleasant Valley Motors and Anthony, we will definitely add them to our list for any future vehicles we may consider purchasing.

Dealer claimed ignorance. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER! Only gave 1 star because I had to but dealer does not deserve it!

I filled out some paperwork (remotely) on Friday, and picked up the car on Saturday (today). Wayne Davy was very helpful as well today, getting us set up on the app, handling paperwork, etc. The finance team was efficient and personable. They gave the best pitch I have heard for an extended warranty (though I still didn't buy it). Also.... The price Abeloff offered me was much better than my local dealer; Abeloff's doc fees are reasonable; and they didn't try to stick me with a bunch of extras I didn't want. Overall this was an excellent experience. Although I live more than an hour away (in NJ) it was worth the trip. (For NJ residents - they seamlessly handle registration, taxes etc. for NJ). This was a much better experience than my local dealer, who wanted more for the car, were not forthright about the size of current financing rebates, charge an exorbitant doc fee, and insist on adding "extras" that the customer doesn't want.

Abeloff does not do same day oil changes if you didn't purchase the vehicle from them. Would not allow a loaner car without a diagnostic evaluation that could potentially be hours long. After spending over $100,000 on a brand new car I find this completely unacceptable. The service writer was rude and condescending and stated that the service manager doesn't allow loaners no matter how long it takes for diagnostic (translation, you didn't purchase the vehicle in our dealership so piss off). I understand why Abeloff has such a poor rating. This is the first GM dealership that I've been to that doesn't do same day oil changes, I guess I'm used to 5 star dealerships and not bottom of the barrel dealerships. GMC should be ashamed of letting Abeloff soil the reputation of their flagship product line.
