    Better than new!

Wow these guys really came through for me. My sons bike was run over and heavily damaged just weeks before the Maah Dah Hey trail race. GNB went above and beyond to get it up and running again which was a huge challenge during the COVID shortages. Thanks again!

Lets just say I was well beyond pleasantly surprised when I took my bicycle tire in to have the rim straightened and it took 5 minutes and only cost 8 dollars.

Fargo Scheels Superstore review: I have been to this store many times for all kinds of things…read more Usually it is a pretty good experience. Expect to pay 10-15% more for the Scheels experience. This review is for the person who I believe is the Manager of the Running shoe Dept. He is a middle aged (45 about) short crew cut dark hair. He knows little to nothing about running shoes. All he can come up with is Brooks Glycerines and Asics Gel-Nimbus. Once you get past that he has no clue and the only reason he has those two down is because of their success Great Foam, Very Popular in the running community. I was in the Fargo Superstore yesterday looking at Trail Running shoes. I and I was interested in a Hoka Speed Goat. None of the young guys where around so I had to deal with guy. Not the first time. I wanted to try the Hoka's on.... They didn't fit too Small. The Dialogue was starting to deteriorate so I started asking him some questions about the Foam in the Hoka SpeedGoat 7 Compared to the OnCloud CloudHorizon I had just bought from that store less than a month a go. He told me the Foam in the Hoka SpeedGoat 7 is exactly the same as the OC CloudHorizon's. He could not have been more WRONG! Speedgoats are the Typical Super critical EVA and the OC CloudHorizon are a Proprietary formula of foam Called Helion HF. This Manager says it with so much Conviction it is hilarious but if you're not a running shoe consumer you would never know this person has little to no knowledge about running shoe construction or materials. The sad part is he is the standard for this stores running shoe Dept. If Scheels wants to up their game to the National Sports Equipment retailer they aspire to be. People in the organization like this Guy should be gone. When I go into scheels I expect a couple things: Certainly no Attitude, Expert advice from people who really know their products and a great Experience. Me: I am a 65 year old male started running in the mid 70s in Nike LD-1000s. Last sanctioned race I ran in was a few years ago I finished 3 in my Category. I grew up in Scheels Southside Fargo staring at Weatherby rifles listening to Jack Engen tell his big game hunting stories. I remember Steve (senior) being in that store quite a bit. Do I shop Scheels.... Yes I am a Huge Scheels fan. In the last year I have bought at least 10 -12 pairs of shoes from Scheels (Fargo & Moorhead). Four of them Being On Clouds (Great Shoes), but not from this guy. My Advice to Scheels If you want to get to the Next Level. Get rid of the People with the Attitudes, drastically Increase product knowledge of your Sales People (especially Mens Running) and teach some listening skills.

Some advice for those who are a little more unfamiliar with mountain biking, such as myself:…read more 1. Keep your mouth closed!! This path goes through lots of woody/ grassy areas where you will be able to digest a whole appetizer and entree of bugs if you aren't careful. I know they are supposed to be high in protein, so I guess it's your choice but I doubt it would be all too enjoyable whilst trying to navigate the path. 2. Mind where you are going! Mountain biking paths are extremely narrow, and meant for one bike to go at a time, certainly no more and no less, so there's a very minuscule width to navigate through, and any small miss maneuver could have you running into a tree (like my poor mother did, don't tell her I mentioned it on here) or crashing. And we definitely don't want that if we can help it. This is an awesome bike trail, all things otherwise said!! Forum Tower Loop is the bike trail belonging to Lions Conservancy park, which winds right along the Red River and goes for approximately a mile. There's another trail on the other side of the river which is in a different park. An awesome addition is that there is a map of this trail, as well as a QR code you can scan while there, which uploads an electronic map and some other useful information right to your phone. There are small signs nailed on various trees all throughout the trail, and orange flags or spray paint when there aren't signs to help you stay on track. It's a great help. If you are more advanced, the trail does feature some trick spots, where there are jumps and other cool things (I stayed FAR clear of these). For being in Fargo, this bike path was surprisingly beautiful. As I mentioned, it goes right along the river and it's hilly and woody, so it's about as good of views as you can hope for. We also spotted a deer and some turkey, and I mean that's pretty prime nature viewing! This is, North Dakota, after all. XD If you're looking for something fun and different to do in Fargo (because let's be real, people are looking what to do in Fargo often bc there's not much) and a way to get exercise, definitely come check this trail and the other one out!!

Amazing it was so beautiful. I went down the beginner trail so I could go slow. There was so many…read morerivers and beautiful spots.
