All I can say is APC rocks!!!!! The coaches and staff are the best, hands down!!! No matter your fitness level they are there to help you get started or get you back in the saddle again. If your anything thing like me I fell off the fitness wagon about 3 years ago and have been scared to death to get back into it. I have gained about 75 pounds and feared the gym! I had heard about their bootcamp and after talking to one of the coaches on the phone I decided I would give it a try. Boy am I glad I did......APC has helped me not only get back in the saddle but also helped me with nutrition and my mental health. I look forward to the weekly workouts and experiencing the workouts with my new workout buddies that are at all levels in their journey! I have been with APC CrossFit for the past 9 months, and I am proud to say that it has been the best decision of my life. As a young, busy, college student, I struggled with putting my physical and mental health first in my life. After I completed my free week trial of CrossFit, I knew that I would never look back. Carmen, Seth, and the rest of the APC coaches are nothing but supportive, respectful, and determined to help you reach your goals every single day. Not only are the coaches fantastic, but the entire APC CrossFit community is one-of-a-kind. We keep each other accountable and are always cheering each other on. Most people may stray away from CrossFit due to the "competitive" and "scary" stigma that tends to follow the name, but I can assure you that at APC, your only competition is yourself. I started here through a bootcamp program to ease my way back into exercise. The support from the coaches and athletes here is amazing. Everyone is at different levels of fitness and various ages but we all share a common goal. Everyone is willing to stop what they are doing to help you if you need. The coaches are constantly walking around during class to make sure you are safe and have good form. If they stop to help you, do not get discouraged!! They want you to succeed and want to make sure you don't injure yourself. After I completed bootcamp and their introductory Box Basics classes, I started going 6 days a week. I have been holding that consistently for 9 months, other than a couple weekends I went out of town. I've lost nearly 50lbs and I've gained so much strength. Crossfit is about you challenging YOURSELF at YOUR pace. You push your own limits. You do what YOU can or modify what you can't. APC has a lot to offer anyone of any level. They have boot camp classes that are 4 weeks & sometimes 6 weeks long. They have WOD Squad for kids to keep in shape. Along with CrossFit they have powerlifting, Olympic lifting, skills classes & a good staff of coaches. The owners keep the facility clean & best of all they make sure the equipment is cared for. APC is seriously life changing. The staff and members are so patient and helpful. I came in knowing hardly anything and everyone goes out of their way to help you get the techniques correct. Can't say enough about this place. The moment you walk in you feel very at ease and the coaches are extremely helpful. They help you from nutrition to modifications that you have. I was involved in a boot camp there and I gained so much confidence and knowledge to help me. They made the workouts fun and enjoyable plus they made me laugh sometimes.
